Shockwave: Logic will not fail...

Chapter 12: Chapter 12: Across the Stars and Beyond

Seated in his dimly lit lab on Plexicon, Shockwave stood before a holographic display, analyzing data streams from the multiverse. His mechanical hands moved with precision, manipulating the information to confirm the existence of two new universes: Star Wars and Steven Universe.

Through his probing, he uncovered fragments of information about a forgotten Galactic Empire, a civilization that had warred against itself and external threats for millennia. What intrigued Shockwave the most was a material described in scattered records—rare, luminous crystals capable of extraordinary power.

"Kyber crystals," Shockwave muttered, his single glowing optic pulsing as fragmented memories of his human counterpart surfaced. The crystalline structures were key to harnessing immense energy and had once powered the legendary weapons of the Jedi and Sith.

Among these, a specific type captured his attention: the Permafrost Crystal, a mythical variant that absorbed heat to create a freezing effect. Such a crystal, Shockwave theorized, could bind itself to its wielder's essence, becoming both a weapon and a companion.

Shifting his focus, Shockwave examined another universe. Here, he found a society known as the Diamond Authority, a gem-based empire struggling to redefine itself after centuries of authoritarian rule. At the center of this reformation was a hybrid named Steven Universe, who had steered the Diamonds away from their oppressive ways.

The discovery of an empire powered by sentient gemstones piqued Shockwave's curiosity. The Diamonds' society, with its advanced technological and biological synthesis, could provide resources, knowledge, and potential alliances—or rivals.

"Fascinating," Shockwave mused, his tone devoid of emotion yet laced with interest. "A society built on the very concept of perfection. Their transition to reform is... inefficient. Exploitable."

Shockwave turned his attention back to Star Wars. Using data siphoned from galactic records, he identified Hoth, an icy, desolate planet, as the most probable location for Permafrost Crystals, at least according to his scattered, yet intact human memories, it's extreme cold and lack of significant activity made it an ideal site for harvesting such rare materials, and it was found there according to the wiki from his old world.

Without hesitation, Shockwave began drafting plans for a mining operation. He would construct specialized mining drones capable of withstanding Hoth's brutal conditions, camouflaged to avoid detection by any remaining factions in the galaxy.

"I will claim the Permafrost Crystal," Shockwave declared, his voice unwavering. "It will be the first of many tools in my arsenal. A weapon, a companion, a source of infinite energy efficiency."

Despite his ambitions, Shockwave knew he had to proceed with utmost caution. The remnants of the Empire and scattered factions across the galaxy were dangerous enough, but the Force—though forgotten—still lingered in fragments. If even one individual sensitive to it remained, they could become a threat.

As for the Gems, Shockwave calculated the potential risk of interfering with the Diamond Authority. Their society, while currently pacified, had an underlying history of conflict and conquest. If provoked, they could prove formidable.

"Logic dictates that direct confrontation would be premature," Shockwave concluded. "A foothold must be established, but subtlety is paramount.

Shockwave deployed a fleet of cloaked mining drones to Hoth. Equipped with advanced scanners and excavators, the drones were designed to operate undetected, extracting Permafrost Crystals with surgical precision.

Meanwhile, he assigned the Time Keeper to gather intelligence on the Diamond Authority and their homeworld, Homeworld. Synthetic humanoid agents would be dispatched to infiltrate the Gems' society under the guise of diplomatic envoys or scholars.

Shockwave's ultimate goal was clear: acquire the Permafrost Crystal and lay the groundwork for potential ventures into the Gem empire. However, he also knew that any misstep could draw unwanted attention.

"Caution must guide every action," Shockwave reminded himself as he finalized his plans. "The balance of power in these universes is fragile. I must tread lightly, yet decisively."

As the drones began their silent operations on Hoth, Shockwave turned his optic back to Plexicon, where his loyal War Worm, L0ya1s7, was undergoing concurrent upgrades. Soon, it would grow to a size capable of encircling his city multiple times, a sentinel of unmatched power, it was nearly done.

Beyond the icy wasteland of Hoth, and in the distant reaches of the multiverse, Shockwave's influence continued to spread. Each step brought him closer to his ultimate goal: the perfection of logic and order across all realities.

But even as his plans unfolded, the question lingered in his mechanical mind: How long before the multiverse itself noticed his machinations?
