Chapter 91: Untitled
In a dark corner of the room, Enzo sat quietly shrouded in darkness as he stared intently at the young man tucked in the bed infront of him.
At this time, a myriad of emtions were washing through Enzo's body his mind locking into several conclusions in rapid succession.
That night he had used the void coffin to try understand what was going on with his brother and it had come to two conclusive results.
The first was that in his brothers soul, there were traces of a broken divine concept. That concept was align to the concept of space time and as for where it came from? It was much more confusing.
Apparently it was passed down by blood to him, presumably from his father as the mother showed no sign of this concept. Fortunately Enzo too didn't have signs of this concept in his body so he didn't have much to worry about.
"Weavetech" Enzo muttered
Thinking all night, Enzo did some mental math. His mother didn't have it, he didn't have it, but Carlos did. Was he born out of wedlock? Of course not. His mother would never do such a thing.
Only one thing made sense
It was the acccident.
Those years ago when his father worked for Weavetech, they had been very new to the city and very secretive. The accident that made so many bed ridden was the main reason they became public not for anything but to silence the public outcry.
Clearly they were trying to hide something and now Enzo was understanding it.
"Does that mean?" Enzo thought in his mind, but quickly shook his head, most of those affected were dead, the once's who survived…..like his father were killed.
This was the reason they targeted his father after the fact.
"Sigh, is this luck? Or fate?" Enzo laughed bitterly.
Carlos's situation would only get worse from now on, and the only way out of it was for him to learn how to control it.
Unfortunately that could only be done with a true star core. It meant that he had to find a star seed( source of star dust)
Sitting back into the chair Enzo sank into deeper thoughts, the likes he had never done before while the sun slowly rose from the horizon.
"Here's yours" Enzo's mother handed him a plate of scrambled eggs and strips of meat as she went round the table handing others their breakfast.
The night before was an emotional one for the whole family, but at the end. Enzo was able to find a temporary Solution.
Or to be precise, the void coffin was able to find the solution.
It branded Enzo with a strange tag that would force him whenever he teleported to appear within the void coffin. It didn't matter if he was on earth or off world, he would simply appear in the void coffin.
It was a method of control while they searched for a star seed.
"This one is good?" Suddenly Carlos sent a digital message to Enzo, depicting a weavepod with gears fitted inside a private room.
Naturally, as they were searching for a cure, Carlos had to make good of his time, he needed to learn how to survive, as in the voyage, no one could of help to him.
"It's good, add a artificial Echo synthesizer and get a smith to make one for you" Enzo added helplessly. His original goal was to keep his family save and far away from this life.
Unfortunately, the world had other plans for them.
"Great!!" Carlos blurted excitement written all over his face, he was finally about to live his dreams (nightmare)
Shaking his head Enzo smiled bitterly then looked to raven and Zeke.
The next day, Enzo transferred a bulk load of time to his mother from his stash dropping his number to around
[110: 3 : 5]
This was okay however, because in the near future he would be making multiple times the amount when he was ready.
As for now,
He had work to do.
Boarding their different means of transport they headed straight for the dual moon institutes gate and towards the hanger.
....
"Planet Defi….heard it's a paradise" inside the dual moon institute hanger, several youngstars stood around ccnversing with each other.
"Yeah, a paradise with monsters" someone else commented sneering at the nativity of the first years around.
Actually, planet defi was new on the list of the many worlds humans had 'librated' from corruption, and dispite its sencary it was still very much dangerous.
When humanity first spread in the galaxy, they were surprised to find that a myriad of worlds were actually inhabitable, fresh air, and beautiful sky's and water. Of course these worlds were just a drop of water the ocean that was the galaxy but you know what wasn't?
Corruption
A myriad of world's inhabitable and uninhabitable contained corruption. It was hypothetized that when the universe was made to 'be' corruption spread through the worlds and infected the living.
In all the time humanity had been In the stars, the one thing they constantly battled against was this corruption and with their abilities they were able to push it further and further away from the worlds they inhabited.
On the outerbelt of the super world called "florish" which boarded corruption was defi, a world of vegetation and vibrance. This was their Destination.
"Well that's uncalled for" master Seth suddenly sounded a reply to the scoff from a second year.
"Defi is indeed a paradise, but it's far from safe" one of master Seth's underlings Vincent stepped forward and explained.
The world had taken 50 earth years to clear, to most this was two lifetimes or more. So it was indeed dangerous, however it was also the best place to train students and capture beasts.
"Hm?" While the instructor Vincent explained two figures walked through the gate and slowly snuck behind him to join the crowd.
As they did so, the others behind couldn't help but laugh playfully drawing his attention to it.
Before he could though
"Defi is Where Lord magnus died right?" A voice sounded from someone who wasn't in the crowd before a serious expression on his face.
"Hm?" The words of that individual drew everyone's attention to him causing a silence to wash over the crowd.
Humanity had Heroes, people the rest of the race looked up to and admired. The death of one was a stinging pain one everyone else and also a reminder.
Dispite the seemingly endless amount of time they could aquire living for god knows how long. Human's could still die like dogs.
"Yes, magnus died on defi" the instructor sighed deeply then turned to look at Enzo.
"You weren't here before" he spoke casually pointing to the fact that he understood what Enzo had just done. However he quickly turned away and walked to Master Seth's side.
'Impressive'
Enzo thought, to have noticed him use shadow step was worth admiring. Even people stronger than him would typically fail in doing so.
"Are you kids ready ?" Master Seth seeing they were complete walked forward and asked the ground of about 20 students.
These were the elites across all years and they would be helping the combat class in the near future to hunt and capture corrupted beasts.
"Yes sir!!" The all echoed them master Seth waved his hands pointing at the roll of weavepods on the hangers.
One by one, they climbed in and activated their weavepods accepting the preset location.

[prepare for interplanetary weave]

.
.
The sun on Defi was hot, but not so hot that it was scorching, the wind was wild, but not so wild that it would blow one away.
One thing it did have however was forests.
Thick, dense forests.
"Line up here, there's no time to waste" inside a dense forest, Master Vincent's voice resounded as he called forth the student exiting thier weavepods one after the other.
"Is the institute cheap? Why weave in the middle of nowhere?" Sudden Zeke commented in the crowd whispering to Enzo.
"Hmm, I doubt it. This place doesn't look anyway near civilization" Enzo muttered sending a bitter smirk his way.
The way he accessed master Seth, he was the die hard type of instructor, going to extra step to make everyone sweat. The usual excuse was….thats how I was trained.
Of course, often more than not, it wasn't. They were just sadistic.
But master Seth…..Tyrant
That man probably fit the first description very well.
"Pick up your team bags and enter the designated Crawlers for your year. This will be your homes for the extent of our stay on defi" master Seth suddenly added causing some of the first year's to frown and the second and third years to smirk bitterly.
Who didn't know master Seth and his vicious unfeeling methods. Most of them had heard tales, others prayed to never get called to his office.
But none could refuse or refute…..
Because at the end of the day, master Seth wasn't just a random person, he was the vice regent of the dual moon institute.
A Holy weaver.
