The rest of the ride was filled with a comfortable silence that gave Artemi a chance to finally fully look over his runes.

That was once again strange as far as he knew every dreamer had a soul core and soul shards but he had something different.

At this point nothing surprises me. I seem to be an anomaly as far as humanity is concerned.

But he kept reading.

Simple but effective, so sunny must be like a divine shadow. It's comforting to know I'm not the only one with a Divine Aspect.

Just as he finished skimming through his runes they came to a halt and jumped out of the vehicle.

"Good luck out there boys." Jet said as the vehicle without wasting time left once again.

Looking around Artemi was stunned by the pure size of the massive red gates that seemed to hold a city within a city.

It looked even more beautiful with the slow drifting snow that was falling all around them cold and fresh without the usual pollutants that came with the outskirts.

Besides him and sunny only a solitary girl, tall with striking silver hair, clear grey eyes and sporting some worn out headphones.

What are the chances that she also has a Divine Aspect?

He joked to himself as he made his way towards the now landed moving to the Academy remembering the words of Master Jet.

"I will give you three pieces of advice since we are from the outskirts. One: they are going to offer you Counseling again and if you decide to participate you will gain a reward. 

I will tell you right now do not accept your most valuable asset is your enemies ignorance.

Two: The only useful course at least to people like you is Wilderness Survival, the most dangerous thing to you all is not the nightmare creatures but rather the elements so you need to know how to survive them.

Lastly: No one can survive the dream realm alone, get along with your peers you already have each other but the more the merrier."

And that led him to this point, in the cold… with two antisocial people.

This is just great. It's like they have never had a friend in their lives. Maybe they are perfect for each other?

Shaking his head to rid himself of the annoying thought he walked forward nudging sunny out of his thoughts and following the aloof girl.

"His height is unfair."

He heard a mutter from behind him. Suppressing a chuckle Artemi jogged lightly to catch up with the girl.

Sticking out a hand he said, "Nice to meet you, I'm Artemi but I prefer to go by Art."

"Who?" She droned sounding bored and uninterested.

"Artemi? I'm sorry I don't understand the question."

"No titles? Legacies? Grand accomplishments? Not trying to woo me?"

The girl now facing him said with venom.

"No, why would you need that?"

"Ok. Whatever , here's your hand shake." And promptly walked away after grasping his hand and jostling it around.

Gods, it should be illegal to have three on one bridge.

"Yes"

One could see something interesting take place, for one his eyes now had flecks of obsidian and light that seemed unnatural against the iris.

Secondly, the shadows and light around him were amazingly sharp, expecially his own as it was rimmed in dazzling light.

Third, to anyone that could see the weave of fate they would see the shift and a series of strings align towards a new future frought with adventure and untold amounts of bloodshed.

But for Artemi or… Art a name that truly he had never used before but wanted to start using, this was unknown and he was lagging behind the two solitary figures walking into the fortress.

Art hated crowds, hated the smell of sweating bodies hated the sound.

But he needed people and therefore needed crowds, but teenagers who probably should not be allowed to roam around in a mentally unstable state whilst wielding super powers seemed to be worse.

That was what the common area of the Awakened Academy looked like on this fine evening as animated teens went into detail about how exactly they had killed this creature and whatnot.

And to top it all off the only person he knew was continually burning bridges.

This was both the best and worst day of his life.

the sight of the small teen walking around getting slapped laughed at and generally ousted would have been funny if not for the fact like a complete idiot he was following the kid around.

The person in question was naturally Sunny his fellow outskirts rat who didn't seem to know the concept of think before you speak.

Finally he had enough of it.

"What is the purpose of this?"

"To test my Flaw." The kid answered seemingly without thought.

Dragging him to a corner Art whispered both perplexed and concerned.

"You cannot just say that! Were you telling the truth back there?"

"Of course I was. I'm the most honest person in the world no two worlds." He said with sarcasm.

"Fine but please try not to get killed. I'm starting to like you and I don't want to be in Wilderness Survival alone."

"Whatever." Sunny said walking away to another group of innocent girls forming words on his lips before he even was a part of their conversation.

Now THAT is useful. Thank you miss… Sun god person with insanely rare Divine Aspect.

With a long sigh and a shake of his head Art went off to find some friends or maybe just someone he could sit in silence with. 

Yeah, comfortable silence sounded nice at that moment.

Another one today, I'm on a roll. Let me know how yall like the character interactions I was trying to make a good attempt at both Sunny and Nephis whilst fleshing out Artemi which from now on I will refer to as Art. I'm very excited for you all to Se the direction I'm taking this in!
