Seven Beautiful Goddesses Want Me, But I Just Want My Revenge

Chapter 67: Goddess of Lust is jealous?...

As soon as Adrian's blood touched the scroll, the dark ink pulsed with an ominous light. The contract absorbed the blood, glowing with an eerie power.

Medea's eyes watched the process intently with an unreadable expression, but then there was a flicker of satisfaction as the last drop was absorbed. The contract was signed, but Adrian knew this was only temporary.

"Three days," Medea reminded him in a soft voice with enough power that left no room for doubt. "Don't forget."

Adrian nodded. He could sense the power within Medea, a power that would soon be his to wield—but at a price.

Satisfied, Medea closed her eyes briefly, summoning her energy. A soft, warm light surrounded her, growing brighter until it obscured her form. When the light faded, Medea stood clothed in attire befitting a goddess of wrath.

The outfit was both imposing and seductive—accentuating her curves.

Her cleavage was very well exposed, the neckline plunging in a way that required no effort to see the soft molds on both sides of her chest. The armour was fitted with a cutout along her toned abdomen, showing her flawless skin.

A slit ran along the length of her leg, high enough to allow freedom of movement in battle yet designed to draw the eye. A sword hung at her waist, the blade etched with ancient runes that seemed to pulse with a life of their own.

Adrian found it hard not to stare. The transformation from the pale, naked goddess who had nearly torn him apart to this armoured warrior was astonishing.

Medea caught his gaze and smirked, clearly aware of her effect on him. Adrian, realising he had been caught, quickly shifted his gaze, trying to maintain his composure.

But before he could fully gather himself, Lilith, who had been watching the entire exchange with a glint of mischief in her eyes, cleared her throat loudly, drawing Adrian's attention away from Medea.

There was a faint hint of something in her gaze—was it jealousy? Adrian couldn't quite tell.

"I think I also need a change of attire," Lilith said sweetly, almost in seduction. She batted her eyelashes at Adrian, her lips curving into a teasing smile. "Don't you think so, Adrian, darling?"

Adrian opened his mouth to respond, but Lilith didn't wait for an answer. She closed her eyes, and a soft, warm light enveloped her, much like the one that surrounded Medea earlier.

When the light finally dissipated, Lilith stood before them in a new outfit that left little to the imagination. Her clothes were designed to highlight every curve of her body, emphasizing her goddess-like figure in an undeniably provocative way.

Her top was a barely-there masterpiece of lace and silk, plunging even deeper than Medea's, leaving her cleavage fully exposed and drawing the eye to her ample bosom.

The fabric clung to her like a second skin, outlining the shape of her breasts and leaving just enough to the imagination to make it all the more enticing. A delicate chain of gold wrapped around her waist, accentuating her hourglass figure.

The lower part of her outfit consisted of a sheer, flowing skirt that split on both sides, revealing her long, shapely legs with every movement.

But what really made her outfit scandalous was the almost transparent material that covered her, barely veiling her toned muscles and flawless skin. The sheer material shimmered with a subtle, ethereal glow, giving her appearance an almost otherworldly charm.

There was no denying that Lilith was the goddess of lust—the entire ensemble was obviously intended to captivate and seduce.

Adrian couldn't help but stare, his eyes drawn to every detail of Lilith's new outfit.

The contrast between her and Medea was striking—where Medea's outfit radiated power and authority, Lilith's was a bold display of seduction, daring anyone to look away.

Lilith opened her eyes, catching Adrian's gaze with a playful smirk. "Well, Adrian, darling," she purred, stepping closer to him. "What do you think? Do I look ready for battle?"

Adrian swallowed hard, trying to find his voice. "You… look incredible," he managed to say, his voice slightly strained as he tried to maintain some semblance of composure.

Lilith's smile widened, pleased by his reaction. "Of course I do," she said confidently with a wink. "After all, it wouldn't do for a goddess of lust to be outshined, now would it?"

Medea, who had been watching the exchange with a raised eyebrow, gave a small huff of amusement. "Always the show-off, aren't you, Lilith? I thought jealousy was Eris's trait."

Lilith shrugged, unbothered by the comment. "What can I say? I guess it's also in my nature."

Doing a quick 360, she lifted her head slightly to the sky. "We rest now," she sighed, "but at first light, we move to the barracks."

The group found a secluded spot within the forest to rest, and though the air was thick with tension, the need for sleep outweighed any lingering unease. The day's events had left them all drained, and they knew they needed to be at their best for whatever lay ahead.

****************

After a few hours of rest, they set out at first light, heading toward the barracks. The journey was quiet, each of them lost in their own thoughts.

The forest gradually thinned out, giving way to the structured layout of the barracks, which loomed in the distance like a fortress. The place was heavily guarded, soldiers patrolling the perimeter with an air of authority.

It was a place built for war, and its presence alone was enough to make the most seasoned warrior think twice.

Zack hesitated as they approached the gates. "I've got to go in alone," he muttered, more to himself than to the others.

Lilith raised an eyebrow, staring at him in surprise. "No! You're going nowhere without us."

"Agreed," Adrian said, stepping closer to Zack. "We can't afford to let you out of our sight."

Zack shook his head, his expression showing signs of nervousness. "You don't understand. The barracks are highly secured. They don't allow outsiders in without proper clearance. If we all go in, it'll raise too many suspicions."

Medea's eyes narrowed. "And you think you can handle this alone?" There was a dangerous edge to her tone, one that hinted at her readiness to unleash her wrath if things didn't go as planned.

Zack hesitated, then shook his head. "No, but if at most two of us go in, we might be able to pull it off. If things go south, the others can stay outside as backup."

Adrian exchanged a glance with Lilith, who nodded her agreement. "Two of us go in," Adrian repeated. "You and me. Lilith and Medea will stay behind, ready to come in if anything happens."

Medea's eyes flared with anger, but she didn't argue. "You'd better call me the moment you sense danger," she warned, her voice low and serious. "Or I'll tear that place apart myself."

Adrian gave a grim smile. "Trust me, I will."
