Rita's Unseen Destiny.

Chapter 53: A Celebration Of Healing.

Rita grinned, feeling happy and grateful to her supportive family. She knew that she still had a long way to go, but with their love and support, she felt ready to take on the world.

Rita's father, still beaming with pride, asked her, "So, now that you are finally recovered, are you going back to being Carson's secretary? "

Rita shook her head, a determined look on her face. "No, dad. I don't think so."

Her father raised an eyebrow, surprised. "Really? Why not?"

Rita took a deep breath before explaining. I have been thinking a lot about my life and what I want to do. And I have realized that I don't want to just be a secretary. I want to do something more meaningful, something that makes me happy. "

He looked at her with excitement." I want to help you with the pizza business, Dad. I want to work with you to make and supply pizza to people."

Her father's face broke out into a broad smile." That's a great idea, Rita! I could really use your help. We could use someone with your skills and enthusiasm to help us grow the business. "

Rita grinned, feeling happy and relieved that her father was supportive of her decision." Thanks, Dad. I am really looking forward to working with you."

Her mom, Naome, who had been quietly observing the conversation, spoke up. " We are proud of you, Rita. You are making a brave decision, and we know you will do great things."

Rita felt a warmth in her heart, knowing that her parents were behind her every step of the way. She knew that she still had a lot to learn, but she was excited about starting this new chapter in her life.

That same evening, David, Rita's dad, decided to take his family out for dinner to celebrate Rita's full recovery. He had been wanting to do something special to mark the occasion, and what better was to celebrate than with a delicious meal together?

He made a reservation at a cozy little restaurant in town. The restaurant was well known as a place that Rita loved. The restaurant was known for its warm atmosphere and mouth-watering cuisine, and David knew that it would be the perfect spot to celebrate Rita's healing.

As they arrived at the restaurant, Rita's eyes lit up with excitement. She had been looking forward to this dinner all day, and she couldn't wait to spend some quality time with her family.

The host greeted them warmly and showed them to their table by the window. The restaurant was bustling with activity, but their table was quiet and intimate, overlooking the beautiful gardens outside.

David smiled as he looked around the table at his family. Rita was beaming with happiness, and her mother was chatting animatedly with the water. It was moments like these that David cherished, moments of joy and connection with the people he loved.

As they pursued the menu, Rita's eyes widened with excitement. "Dad, can I get the pasta with garlic shrimp?" She asked, her voice full of hope.

David smiled and nodded. " Of course, sweetie. You can get anything you want tonight. We are celebrating, remember?"

Rita grinned, feeling happy and carefree. She knew that this dinner was more than just a celebration of her family's life and support for her.

As they waited for their food to arrive, David raised his glass in a toast. "To Rita's full recovery, and to many more happy moments together as a family."

Naome, Rita and Gerald, Rita's little brother, and David echoed the toast, clinking their glasses together in a joyful celebration of love, family, and new beginnings.

As they sipped their drinks and waited for their food to arrive, the conversation flowed easily. Rita's mother asked her about her plans now that she was fully recovered, and Rita talked excitedly about her decision to go back to college and finish her law degree.

David listened proudly, beaming with happiness as he wanted his daughter to blossom into a confident and determined young woman.

As the food arrived, they dug in, savoring the delicious flavors and textures. Rita's pasta with garlic shrimp was a hit, and she declared it the best dish she had in ages.

As they ate, they chatted and laughed, enjoying each other's company. It was a warm and intimate evening, filled with love and connection.

As the night wore on, David glanced at his watch and realized that they had been at the restaurant for hours. "I am so sorry, everyone," he said, smiling. "I didn't realize how late it was. Shall we get dessert and then head home?"

Rita's mother nodded, and Rita exclaimed yes please! I want to try their famous chocolate cake!"

David chuckled and signaled the waiter. " One chocolate cake coming up," he said, smiling at Rita, crossed the table and took Rita's hand. " I am so proud of you, kiddo," he said, his eyes shinning with love and admiration. " You have been through so much, and you have come out stronger and more resilient than ever."

Rita smiled, feeling happy and grateful for her father's love and support. " Thanks, Dad," she said, squeezing his hand. " I couldn't have done it without you and mom."

As the dessert arrived, they dug in, savoring the rich chocolate flavor. It was the perfect ending to a perfect evening, a celebration of love, family and new beginnings.

It was the day of Jennifer's wedding with her husband Hudson, and Laura, Carlson's telecom investigator, was busy getting ready. She had spent hours the night before preparing her hair and make-up, and now she was slipping into her elegant dress.

As she was putting on her shoes, there was a knock at the door. It was Carlson, looking dashing in an expensive situation and with a sleek watch on his wrist.

Laura's eyes widened in surprise as she took in Carlson's outfit. "Woow, Carlson, you look amazing!" She exclaimed. "I have never seen you dresses up like that before."
