At his command, the clones moved with precision, activating the network. In an instant, the entire Central Continent began to tremble. The ground quaked violently, fissures spreading like cracks in glass, as the immense power of the formations surged into action, defying the Heavenly Court's advance.

There are a total of three types of formations.

All formations were interconnected, but their design ensured that if one formation was damaged, the others would remain unaffected.

The overall network would only experience a minor reduction in effectiveness, around 0.1%, due to the sheer number and redundancy of the formations.

With over a million formations spread across the continent, their creation had been a meticulous endeavor. Ten years ago, Li Tian had covertly sent his clones to the Central Continent, blending them seamlessly into the population to construct these formations without drawing attention.

Fifty percent of these formations were dedicated to accelerating the refinement process. This was crucial due to the interference posed by the wills of two Rank 9 Gu Immortals in the Heavenly Court.

These formations worked by stealing dao marks from tribulations and transferring them to the Gu being created. This process neutralized the tribulations while enhancing the Gu, ensuring its completion without interference from Heaven's Will. 

The creation of the Gu involved another person, Long Hair Ancestor, his interest in this Gu stemmed from its uniqueness—it was unlike anything he had ever encountered.

Bound by a promise made to him by Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable, Long Hair Ancestor agreed to assist in its creation.

However, he remained hidden in an untraceable location, concealed so thoroughly that even Rank 9 Gu Immortals could not find him. To locate Long Hair Ancestor, one would need to refine all the Dao Marks spread across the Central Continent.

There are also two hidden formations one for Lang Ya and the other for other purposes.

Right after the tremors settled from the emperor city there is large amount of human Qi flowing out and a large amount of Heaven Qi flowing from up as the tribulations started brewing in the sky, the first one is a normal tribulation of Rank 6. It didn't come out yet it is about to form. The moment the Gu process starts the tribulations will roll.

"Lord, enemies approaching," Kang Jun reported, his tone steady but urgent.

"Kill them," Li Tian ordered without hesitation. "Ensure they don't reach me." With a nod, Kang Jun turned and departed, leaving Lu Nan behind to guard Li Tian.

Zhu Yin remained close to Li Tian, as she insisted on staying with him, citing the importance of her presence.

"Lu Nan, use the Create and Protect formation here," Li Tian instructed, his gaze unwavering. "Prepare to intercept any attackers."

"Yes, lord," Lu Nan replied with a bow. Channeling his immortal essence, he activated the Create and Protect formation. Drawing upon the natural Dao Marks embedded in the environment, Lu Nan constructed a Rule and Creation Path formation.

The formation was a masterpiece of ingenuity, almost unbreakable in its design. As its name suggested, Create and Protect continuously evolves.

It could adapt to threats by generating new configurations, countering any Wisdom Path techniques used to detect or dismantle it.

The formation's dynamic nature ensured that it remained a formidable barrier, safeguarding Li Tian and the process at hand.

The formation activated, isolating Li Tian and Zhu Yin from the rest of the world. The protective barrier shimmered faintly, casting a golden hue over the secluded area.

"Yeah, yeah, I'll inform them. First, focus on your work," Zhu Yin replied, her voice carrying a mix of sarcasm and impatience. She stood nearby, her gaze scanning the surroundings, ensuring no disturbances would breach their sanctuary.

As the refinement process began, distant rumblings of conflict echoed in the void. A fierce war had erupted between the ten ancient sects and the forces of the Heavenly Court, locked in battle against the Chaos Order.
