Chapter 113: UNEXPECTED HAULS
Abilities:
Stormfire Breath: Exhales a torrent of plasma-like lightning-fire that incinerates both body and soul.
Terra Aegis: Its mane radiates divine aura, creating an indestructible barrier as unyielding as mountains.
Essence Devourer: Born from divine clash, it absorbs power from any elemental or divine source, growing fiercer with every battle.
Primordial Supremacy: Instills instinctive fear in all dragonkind, even ancient primordials, who recognize it as their superior. No creature can dare stare into the eyes of the Primordial calamity.
Judgment Roar: A roar that can split storm clouds, topple fortresses, and shatter the courage of armies.
Eternal Vitality: As a child of immortal gods, its wounds heal with frightening speed, and death itself recoils from binding it.
Sky-Sovereign Aura: Merely spreading its wings bends the atmosphere itself—storms gather, lightning ignites in its feathers, and the very sky trembles. Enemy fliers lose lift, while allies find their strength multiplied.
Lion's Heart – Fearless Will: Aetherion's will cannot be dominated. Curses, illusions, or mental assaults collapse before its indomitable spirit. Its roar can even snap allies out of enchantments.
Celestial Devastation: By fusing the essence of heaven and earth within its core, Aetherion can unleash a shockwave of raw creation-energy, leveling battlefields, splitting oceans, and tearing through dimensions.
Thunderfang Rend: Its fangs hold compressed lightning hotter than any forge-fire. A single bite can pierce through divine armor, leaving enemies wracked with searing currents that corrode even souls.
Cosmic Resonance: Aetherion's roar resonates with the heartbeat of the world. It can amplify or disrupt natural forces—stilling storms, halting quakes, or magnifying them to apocalyptic levels.
Chain of Dominion
Its tail can extend like a celestial whip, binding foes in crackling lightning-chains that sap their strength and drag them helplessly before its maw.
Light-Eater
When exposed to divine or holy energy, Aetherion's scales drink in the radiance instead of being harmed, twisting it into fuel for its own destructive might.
Aeon's Judgment
By focusing the essence of sky and land, Aetherion can unleash its ultimate power: a pillar of lightning-fire wrapped in earthen gravitation, descending like a celestial verdict. Legends say this ability once destroyed it's universe.
Eternal Hunt
He never forgets prey. Once Aetherion sets its gaze upon a foe, distance, time, or even dimensions cannot hide them. The hunt only ends with their death.
Authority of Balance
Aetherion was born of heaven and land; thus, it can enforce balance. Against fire, it summons water; against light, it calls shadow; against flight, it grounds. Its very presence reshapes conflicts into equilibrium—except always in its favor.

"Yo system. That's a lot of information and upgrades. Can I sleep for another year?" Aaron asked jovially, his tone light but his heart thundering. His body pulsed with newfound vitality, his mind sharper than it had ever been. Every ability he read felt like a blade being forged solely for his hand.
[Sure. I can fry your brain right now and put you in comatose for a decade or a century even. Depending on what host wants.]
Aaron froze. "…Yeah, nah. I'm good." He straightened up immediately, his lips twitching as he forced a grin. "No need for that kind of hospitality."
His gaze shifted as he realized something. "Wait. I didn't ask—where did my doppelgangers go?" The absence of his extensions gnawed at him, leaving the space around him oddly hollow.
[You were out for a year. Even the Sanctuary wasn't fully functional, talk more of Doppelgangers.]
Aaron exhaled sharply, rubbing the back of his neck. "Right… a whole year, huh?" He let the words hang, as if testing their weight. "Figures."
Still, his eyes hardened. He flicked his hand, summoning the system window once again. "Speaking of Sanctuary… let's see what kind of monster that's turned into."
---
[Sovereign Rank – Sanctuary (growth time)]:
A cosmic artifact forged at the dawn of time, fought over by ancient powerhouses in a millennium-long war that scarred the multiverse, only to vanish in the ensuing chaos. Sanctuary conjures a haven rivaling paradise itself, scaling with its owner's strength—from a modest island to a universe teeming with divine fruits, its potential as boundless as the host's ambition.
Abilities:
• Sanctuary: Grants an independent small world with a 5000Km diameter unbound by any dimension, impervious to all multiversal beings unless the host grants entry. The host accesses it with a mere thought, a seamless bridge to safety.
• Omnipotent: Within Sanctuary, the host wields absolute power—undefeatable, unkillable, with infinite stamina and mana, a god in their own realm.
• Dimensional Anchors: Record a thousand locations (increasing with strength) linked to Sanctuary, enabling instant travel from any point via the sanctuary as a bridge for swift movement or retreat in times of danger. Anchors can be changed at will.
• Guest Access: Authorized individuals enter Sanctuary with a thought, with the host notified of their movements, ensuring total control over their comings and goings.
• Time acceleration: Host can cause time to flow faster within the sanctuary than the outside world with the maximum time speed being 4X the outside universe. (Growth type)
• Abyss heart: The sanctuary gains the abyss heart, a necessity to create an abyss domain. The abyss heart creates abyss kin completely loyal to host and willing to die for host. Abyss creatable currently includes:
5000 E ranks, 3000 D ranks, 1000 C ranks, 50 B ranks, 10 A ranks, 3 S ranks, 1 SS rank (upgradable).
• Talent tree: Every week, the talent tree found within the sanctuary bears four talent fruits with rank ranging from E rank to S rank. (Number of fruits – 5)
---
Aaron's eyes lingered on the screen, his lips curving despite himself. "Well damn… that nap wasn't wasted after all."
The abyss core had turned out to be more than worth the risk, and now, seeing the Sanctuary standing as something that rivaled divine paradises, he almost felt bad for doubting the payoff. Almost.
[Credits to your bloodline host. It made sure every single drop of the energy from the potent core was utilized—with a little help from me of course.]
Aaron chuckled, shaking his head. "Yeah, yeah. Thanks, system. We'll talk later." His tone softened, more thoughtful. "But first… I wonder how Blue Star is coming along."
He reached forward, tearing open space itself with ease. A rift blossomed before him, its edges humming with unrestrained power. Without hesitation, he stepped through, confidence radiating from every stride. With what he carried now, he was certain—there was no being on Blue Star that could challenge him.
"Finally, a change of scenery." Michael's voice rang out as he followed behind, a grin spread across his face. "Although the Sanctuary was quite enjoyable, I actually prefer—" His words died abruptly, his expression stiffening as his eyes fell on what lay ahead.
The rift spat them out into silence.
Aaron's smile faded as he stood at the edge of ruins that stretched endlessly. Crumbled towers, shattered earth, cities turned into dust—Blue Star looked nothing like the home he had left behind.
The stench of death lingered in the air, faint but undeniable, carried by winds that whispered of calamities long past.
Aaron's voice was low, disbelieving. "What in the world… happened here?"
