"Is it suspicious?" I asked. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you with this… I'll show you how it works, also Alice, come out. Let's talk with her."
"S-Sure…" Alice appeared. "Hello Ruby! I am well… the "System". I am also a spirit, a manifestation of Sylphy's Unique Power. The seed you're holding is my child actually. So every person that holds it also holds a child of mine, so I was trusting you with them. Do you want to see what it can do for you?"
"Huh? Ah… this is a bit too much for me to process but if it's related to a spirit…" Ruby muttered, glaring at her two spirits. "Do you know something guys?"
"We've lived our whole lives in the fire spirit realm, so we hardly know anything!" said the little fire genie spirit.
"Gebogebooo!" and the fiery metal slime spirit also was the same.

Like that we ended spending half an hour with my spirits, Celica and Celeste, teaching Ruby what the System was and that it was completely harmless and that we would never ever dare harm her either.
"Okay I get it now… I'm really sorry for not trusting you," she sighed, as she had already absorbed the system seed. "I'm sometimes a bit dumb with things like trust… I-I never had friends and all."
"It's fine," I said. "You're our friend now! Anyways, how do you feel?" I asked.
"Hmm…"
Ruby closed her eyes and felt something awaken within her as the system seed fully planted in her soul. Expanding its circuits and then connecting to everything within her and also her potential and powers.
"Oooh?"

An Aura of crimson and azure colors surged, waving around like a powerful flame.
"T-This is amazing!" she said. "I feel stronger out of nowhere… just what happened?"
"The power of the System Seed can do such miracles!" I said. "Now you've gotten yourself a system status. Check it by just thinking "status" and you'll be able to see it."
"Okay…"
As she thought that, the status window popped up for her, which I could also easily see as the master of the original system.
Or well the… the host? Well technically master is a bit of a stretch sometimes but still.

And these were her stats, very decent at her level I suppose! We just have to go level her up a lot so she can catch up to us. Plus she has so many Skills that seem useful!
"S-So this is my status? It really appears in numbers, how odd," Ruby said. "Nonetheless, thank you for this power, Sylphy. I'll treasure it well."
"No prob!" I said. "You got a lot of Skills; we could try them out later once you start training more intensively."
"Sounds fine," she nodded. "Now let's go to that café, you girls talking so much about it kind of made me want to have some too!"

Like that, we reached the first floor, finding dad preparing for lunch.
"Hey girls! Are you done already with your test?" he wondered.
"Almost yeah, we're technically done, they just have to report," I said. "I finished mine first of course!"
"Haha! That's my girl," my dad congratulated me, patting my head and kissing my forehead. "Are you going out?"
"We're going to Evercraft to have a break! Girl's stuff dad!" I said.
"Ah, sure, sure, but come back for lunch, it should be ready in two hours," he said. "I'm going to cook some meat that takes a while. Drake meat! I bet you'll like that."
"You went to hunt Drakes and didn't invite me?!" I gasped.
"Hahaha! Well you're studying alchemy Sylphy, you can't go on wasting your time hunting monsters," he said. "But a break after finishing a test is fine so go on and have fun girls."
"Thanks uncle!" Celica smiled cutely.
"Let's go report then," said Celeste.
Celeste, Celica, and Ruby went to master's room where she was still inspecting that divine thunder armament arm, I just looked from afar.
"I see! Did Sylphy gave you some insight in how to do it?" she wondered. "Well, it still looks like it took you several times anyways, so it wasn't that much of a cheat, huh? Finely done you three. Here."
She gave all three of them the same Polymorph potion.
"What is this?" Ruby asked.
"It's a Polymorph Potion to change a part of your body at will temporarily! Reverse engineer me that and create a replica! I won't tell you the recipe," Master Felicia said with a cocky smile.
"Wait really?!" asked Celeste. "That's a bit too much no?"
"Ooh, so I could change my skin color to look like a human girl?" wondered Celica. "Or maybe take my horns out!"
"I suppose you could but its temporary," said Felicia.
"Ooh…" Ruby blushed a bit after seeing the potion. "Is there a way to make a permanent one?!"
She seemed very excited for some reason.
"Hmm, well there's a recipe but the ingredients are incredibly rare! And that's not something you should learn right now so nope," she said. "Concentrate in what's in front of you first Ruby."
"A-Ah, yes…" nodded Ruby, sighing.
Felicia smiled, petting Ruby's head.
"I know why you want a permanent one, dear," she said with a motherly smile. "If you can manage to reverse engineer it, I can tell you the recipe. But I don't have any right now."
"T-That's enough for me! Thank you!" Ruby felt very happy. "I'll find the ingredients later! Even if I have to search through the entire world…"
Heh, she gained a lot of drive out of nowhere.
