( Yuuki's POV )

When we resumed our journey through the castle, I hurried a bit hoping to be able to act in the battle against the lord of the castle, Ramon, but I was being too optimistic, when we arrived at the place we saw the corpse of a heavily mutated Ramon on the ground with Mythra and the other two standing over him.

Yuuki: Oh no, it's too late.

Mythra already knew we were coming but the other two were surprised to hear my voice, and Leon immediately set his eyes on Ashley.

Leon: Ashley.

Leon's mission was to rescue Ashley, so when he saw her, he called her name, but she took a step back, it seems that was a result of him handing her over to the enemy before.

Yuuki: Before we start celebrating our meeting, you should receive your treatment.

Leon knew that what I was talking about was the same thing I did with Ashley, and when I moved my head closer, and he crouched down to my level, I made my hand intangible and removed the parasite from his body, which surprised Luis at his side, but that wasn't important now.

Yuuki: Can you call your contact? Now that you and Ashley are free of parasites you can leave.

Leon: Yeah, but it's going to take a while, what are you going to do?

Yuuki: I'm going to finish what I started, I'm going to go after Saddler and my other target, I have what I need now, and there are also some questions you need to answer, Luis.

I pointed at Luis, and he raised his hands and put on a carefree smile, at that moment, Pheliss appeared with the woman in the red dress with her hands tied in crystal handcuffs, she threw the woman in front of me and let out a small moan of pain.

Pheliss: Sorry I'm late master, she didn't want to cooperate.

Leon: Ada...

Yuuki: Do you know this woman? You know she's working with the enemy.

Leon: I don't doubt that she is, given the way our paths crossed a while ago.

Ada: Just doing a job, a girl has to eat.

Leon: What are you going to do with her?

Leon seemed to be interested in the well-being of the woman, Ada, and I think he would try to stop me if I did something to her, there was clearly a history there.

We all turned to see the attacker, who was a tall, muscular man wearing military clothing, he was clearly someone hardened by experience.

Leon: Major Krauser?

Yuuki: You know Leon, I find it suspicious that you know two people on the enemy side.

Leon: He used to be a member of the American military, I received brutal training under him.

And now that well-trained and seasoned individual is on the enemy side, sounds like he is responsible for Ashley's kidnapping, he should be here to get her back, but for some reason, he kept looking at me.

Yuuki: So you're the one who kidnapped Ashley.

Krauser: Yeah, that was my doing.

Leon: Why would you do something like that?

Krauser: You just don't understand, rookie, power will always be above everything else.

As he answered Leon, Krauser kept looking at me which I found worrying, not that I felt in danger in any way, I just didn't like it.

Krauser: and when that power is within your reach, you have to seize it by force.

The military guy pulled out a big knife, and he came straight for me, of all the people here, he went for me, that's suspicious.

I was ready to counterattack, and Mythra and Pheliss stepped in front of me to protect me, but Leon jumped in front of him with his own knife, I decided to take that as them having unfinished business to settle up and not as him thinking that I couldn't protect myself.

While Leon and Krauser were engaged in their knife fight, I sat on the edge of the room and watched the fight, Pheliss also sat Ada within my view.

Ashley: Aren't you going to help?

Yuuki: He took the fight, I'm not going to move... for now.

I was sitting down but my tails were pointing at Krauser, Ashley looked between me who had a serious expression, and Leon who was holding his ground against the big man, and after hesitating a bit she sat next to me, Luis debated a bit more what to do but he didn't intervene in the end either but he raised his weapon to give support if necessary.

As I said before Leon was holding his ground but it was obvious that this guy Krauser had something up his sleeve, if not he would have been very stupid to attack us when we were gathered together, I was already expecting a heavy mutation, and when he threw his bulletproof vest aside I knew it was starting, but unlike Mendez and Ramon, his mutation was not so excessive.

He just transformed his arms into a giant blade and a giant pincer, which was more efficient than a violet transformation, but there was something different about it that was raising alarms in my head.

When Krauser finished his transformation, Leon put away his knife and opted for a shotgun, and Luis decided that this was the time to give support, but when all the bullets and pellets flew at him, he laughed as if it were nothing.

The reason for that was that all the bullets were stopped by an invisible force, then he let out a war cry, and released a repulsive force all around him, pushing Leon and Luis, but I caught them with my tails before they hit the wall.
