( Yuuki's POV )

When Ashley recovered from the fight against the giants, we continued exploring the mines, but soon the conventional path ended, but there was a mine cart on some rails, I could feel that the thing that was calling me was on the other side of those tracks.

Yuuki: Alright, get on.

Ashley: What, you're kidding.

Ashley wasn't too thrilled with the idea of riding the old mine cart, but I just looked at her with a smile and she let out a sigh of resignation a few seconds later, After the girls got into the mine cart, I pushed from behind and when we reached a good speed, I jumped in.

As the car ran, we were amazed at the size of the mine, I think there were enough parasites to infect the entire world, maybe that was an exaggeration, but if the parasite has a way of multiplying, that is a possibility.

While I was thinking about that, I heard other mine carts, and soon, more villagers appeared on the tracks next to ours to try to stop us again.

Yuuki: Shera, take the left side, I'll take the right.

Erica and Ashley stood between us while Shera and I started shooting at countless aggressive villagers, that kept appearing in mine carts as if this were a carnival game, It's good that we gained some experience with the merchant a while ago but we weren't out of danger, further ahead a section of the tracks ended abruptly.

Ashley: Yuuki in front!

Erica: Use the brakes.

Yuuki: No, we're going to jump it.

Ashley: What!?

After announcing my intentions I grabbed the three girls with my tails and jumped over the edges of the mine cart as if it were a skateboard, and when we approached the end of the tracks I jumped to a piece of ground that I located on the other side of the tracks, I spun around when I hit the ground but the girls who were being held by my tails came out unharmed.

Yuuki: That was fun.

Erica: Yes it was~

Ashley: No, it wasn't, you two are weird.

Yuuki: Thanks.

Erica: I don't think that was a compliment.

Yuuki: For me it is.

As I expected shortly after our mine cart ride, I found what was attracting my danger sensor, In the mines there were strange organic structures that were like giant hives, I was pretty sure this was what the world travelers were after, I had to blow this place up but I lacked the tools, maybe the merchant can sell me what I need, if not I can always come back later with the order of the cross and take care of it.

Yuuki: Well, I saw what I wanted to see, let's get out of here.

Ashley: Um, I was sure you'd be more curious about this stuff.

Erica: Yeah, you don't sound like yourself.

Yuuki: I am curious, but we have things to take care of first, the boss of the castle, then the big boss and then we will go back to blow this place up sky high.

Erica: I guess that's okay.

Ashley: kyahh.

When I decided to leave, an insect the size of a large dog came out of nowhere and flew in front of Ashley, she let out a scream and shot at the insect desperately, the insect fell easily, but after that, the mines were filled with the buzzing of thousands of insect wings.

Yuuki: I think we should run.

The girls nodded quickly, and we started running, I used my tails to create a protective dome for the girls, every time an insect came near my dome, it was torn to pieces, we were safe, but we were being covered in unpleasant substances.

When I saw an elevator, I created a wall of fire behind us, and as we entered the elevator, Ashley pressed the up button repeatedly, when the elevator started to move, we all stayed silent, but Erica looked annoyed at the thing that was covering her body.

When the elevator reached the top, I walked out of the elevator, but the girls didn't follow me, I looked back with a questioning expression, and Erica made a short request/order.

Erica: Yuuki, I want a bath.

Yuuki: ... Now?

Erica: Yes, now.

Well, I didn't want to walk around with that nasty thing on my body either, I let out a sigh and used my transmutation to create an open-top bath and used magic to fill the place with warm water.

After Mythra and Pheliss showed up in my hospital room without clothes on I stored an entire store's worth of clothes inside my storage for situations like this, so I was able to give the girls a fresh change of clothes, while I just dumped a gallon of water on myself and turned up my body temperature to dry off super fast.

While I was waiting for the girls to finish I received a message from Mythra.

Mythra: [ Master, Luis made contact with Leon, and he injected him with a parasite growth suppressor, and now they are about to face the master of the castle, should I intervene?]

Yuuki: You can lend them a hand, and use all your skills if necessary.

Mythra: [Thank you master, but that won't be necessary. I got a firearm from that shady merchant.]

Yuuki: Ok, good luck with that, try to extract the special parasite inside that guy if you can.

Mythra: [Of course master.]

We were nearing the end of this mission, so I contacted Pheliss, who had been keeping a very low profile since the beginning of the mission.

Yuuki: Pheliss you still have your eyes on the mysterious woman?

Pheliss: [That's right master.]

Yuuki: Capture her and take her to where Mythra is facing the lord of the castle, I want to speak with her personally.

Pheliss: [understood.]

After that, I summoned Rhym, who appeared on one knee in front of me.
