Reincarnated As The Villainess's Son

Chapter 484: [Dystopian Elven War] [60] [Kryllios v/s Himmel]

[Gerald Household, Akasha.]

The sickening scent of death and blood loomed over the once great Household.

Formed under the command of Lenna—the first wife of Lazarus Velentine.

Now, there was nothing left of the place as another great Household of Akasha perished.

Mortis slowly walked towards the now burning main household with a solemn look on his face.

His long obsidian curved horns reflected the fire.

Mortis stopped in front of the shattered gates, his boots crunching over broken stone and charred wood.

The air was heavy with smoke, but the silence underneath it was louder than the fire.

Bodies of the Gerald knights lay scattered across the courtyard, their armor bent and blackened.

Some still gripped their weapons, as if refusing to let go even in death.

He exhaled slowly, his golden eyes reflecting the ruin.

"They stood their ground… but it was pointless," Mortis muttered under his breath.

Once again….he was late.

Once again he let the tyranny of the obscure man happen.

"….Ragnar."

He spoke, his voice low and burned with hatred.

He stepped inside, the ruined banners of the Gerald crest brushing against his shoulder as they fell from the burning walls.

Ash drifted down like snow, clinging to his horns, his hair, his cloak.

When he reached the central hall, he stopped.

The roof had caved in, fire chewing through the beams.

There was a message written clearly on the wall with blood.

"I kept my promise."

Mortis closed his eyes, trying to keep his rage under control.

"Sir Mortis!"

A voice snapped him out as he turned to look back as a man rushed towards him.

"There is news from Lady Mariam."

He fully turned towards him. "What?"

"Ragnar." Mortis' servant spoke urgently. "He is going after Lady Nerissa."

Mortis walked towards him. "I will be back."

"I have already asked them to open the portal." The servant spoke. "It will only take fifteen minutes—."

"It will be too late." Mortis said in his deep grunty voice. "I need to arrive faster."

The servant asked confusedly. "How?"

Mortis didn't reply as he looked up at the sky at the solitude of the Lumina in the space.

He drew in a deep breath, filling his entire lungs with air. "Ask my son to look after the family."

Saying so, he flexed his legs and jumped.

BOOM!!!

A thunderous shockwave boomed, shifting Akasha from its axis ever so slightly.

The air burned against his skin as Mortis tore through the layers of clouds.

Mortis crossed the atmosphere of Akasha in an instant.

Space itself stretched around him as the gravity of Akasha slipped away.

His body glowed faintly, black cracks of energy wrapping around his arms and legs as if his own fury refused to stay contained.

With one swift push of his body he crossed the space between Akasha and Lumina.

His body moved like a comet within the open space.

The solitude of Tamrial Kingdom slowly began to form.

---

[Capital City, Tamrial Kingdom.]

As dust settled down Ragnar's golden eyes took in the scenery in front of him.

A cruel smile crept across his face as he spotted Mariam, standing firm with her arms spread wide, shielding both Nerissa and Nymeria.

"…..Mother." He spoke, taking a step forward. "How have you been?"

Mariam didn't respond as she raised her hand.

Hundreds of branches appeared around her from thin air.

Mariam's stance didn't falter. "Stay behind me."

Ragnar chuckled, his golden eyes staring dead into her.

"And now you are trying to fight me?" He asked, amused. "Why bother?"

He extended his hand towards her. "Just give me them." He spoke firmly. "And I will leave without hurting another soul."

Mariam pushed both of them, a gust of wind pulled them far away.

She finally opened her mouth. "Over my dead body."

Ragnar tilted his head as he smiled. "As you wish."

And then—

BOOM!

The sky itself split open.

A dark comet roared down, crashing into the city square with a force that sent everyone tumbling.

Smoke and dust swallowed everything.

Through the haze, two golden eyes and a towering silhouette emerged, obsidian horns glinting in the broken light.

Ragnar looked up at the man, standing right in front of his face. "…Mortis."

BOOM!

A clean headbutt sent Ragnar tumbling back.

Mortis glanced back at Mariam. "…I will take care—."

Bam!!

A fist collided with Mortis' chest, forcing him to step back.

Ragnar pulled his hand back. "An Asuran body is really something else."

Mariam floated and arrived right beside Mortis as he got a hold of himself.

"You can't take him all by yourself." She spoke softly. "Let me back you up."

Mortis nodded his head silently as he rushed in.

---

[Palace of Dignity, Demiurge Kingdom]

My body kept on floating until I stood right in front of him.

Kryllios still had that twisted smile on his face as he placed his war hammer over his shoulder.

"You seem different." He spoke with certainty. "Like a being way above your rank."

"...."

With the millions of random information feeding my mind, I could think of potential ways this conversation would end.

I couldn't see the future, but I could read the small movements of his body, mana signature and his overall nature.

In the end, there was no point in talking with him.

Yet, there was an explicit emotion that he was trying so hard.

Fear.

He was hiding his fear.

"Are you deaf." He said, raising one brow. "Say something, mute—."

My feet moved on their own accord as I raised my hand.

Naraka came down at him in an instant.

The smugness and arrogance on his face vanished as he quickly moved back.

His chest heaved as he stood a few metres away from me.

"….Why the fear, Kryllios?" I spoke softly.

His glare intensified as he rushed at me.

Raising his war hammer, he burst it at my face.

The hammer came down with a roar, the weight of mountains carried in its swing.

I willed the Sun Disk to move in front of my face.

It absorbed the entire force behind the swing.

Kryllios blinked and tried to move back.

The Sun Disk turned upside-down and—.

BOOM!

The shockwave tore through the Palace.

Kryllios was thrown high in the air as his body flailed around.

Not wasting my time, I began weaving through my kingdom once again.

The true kingdom that I was on verge of completing began to disintegrate.

At the same time, I began to merge all three of my kingdoms with Lumina as the base.

The information still fed my mind, some even helpful.

Kryllios crashed into the far wall, stone splitting apart as cracks spider-webbed across the marble.

He quickly got up and rushed towards me once again.

I wobbled and shifted just enough for him to rush past me.

Keys and threads.

I began to see them as my kingdom formed more and more.

Kryllios' hammer slammed towards my face.

I put my hand in between, blocking his strike.

Still, there was no surprise in his eyes but an immaculate calculation.

He pulled himself back as his gaze never left me.

He forced himself to breathe properly, licking his dry lips. "….What happened to you?"

My mind raced as I placed the key and crimson threads with my will.

At the same time, I raised Naraka, its crimson crescent glowed slightly. "Just die already."

He swung his war hammer again, faster, heavier, his movements growing desperate.

Each strike split the ground and shattered pillars, the palace groaning under the chaos.

But I no longer moved as I once did.

Every attack, every surge of his mana—I could see the lines of it.

The threads, the keys. Paths of cause and effect unraveling before me.

Naraka slid across one of those threads, cleaving into the hammer's shaft.

Sparks of mana scattered as steel cried out.

Kryllios stumbled back, staring at the thin crack running down his weapon.

"Breathe properly." I spoke, stepping forward. "Why the heaving?"

He roared, forcing his body forward, trying to bury his fear under rage.

His hammer lifted high, dripping with mana so thick it turned the air molten.

But before he could bring it down—

The Sun Disks rotated into position, three circles of burning light clashing against the hammer mid-swing.

The impact shook the entire hall, the marble beneath us breaking apart like glass.

Kryllios strained, muscles bulging, trying to force his way through.

And I moved Naraka.

One clean slash—

Blood burst from his chest, painting the broken palace floor.

Kryllios staggered back, one knee buckling.

His hand pressed against the wound, his face twisting in disbelief. "You… you can't—"

The disintegration of my kingdom finally completed as I felt a unique sensation.

I raised Naraka again, its crimson crescent gleaming. "I already told you… die."

The kingdom threads aligned at last.

Kryllios quickly turned around and rushed towards…Zenith.

His intention clear as he reached closer to the crying girl.

He moved and then stopped as I felt something stir within the girl.

Her body moved on its own as layers of barriers began right from around her.

'….Those clear eyes.'

They could never belong to Zenith.

"….Yennefer?"

BOOM!!

Kryllios began breaking the barriers like pieces of paper.

As the last layer of the barrier was just beginning to crack, I moved.

The world blurred around me and my hand was on his shoulder.

I pulled him and threw him in the sky.

"Rejection of Time."

The World slowed down as Kryllios remained frozen in the sky.

I turned to look at Zenith and…. Yennefer.

Before I focused back on Kryllios.

I interlaced my fingers as I placed my hand close to my chest.

"Come forth…."

I spoke in a low voice.

"….My Kingdom."

In an instant, the world around me stretched like a boundless space.

When the World settled, I stood in the depth of a forest.

The invisible strings of time pulsed all around me.

And a sun loomed just close by, it should burn everything but couldn't without my permission.

Finally, I looked down to find a mirror kingdom in my own kingdom.

'....'

The kingdom of death.

I finally looked back at Kryllios who was still frozen in the sky.

I willed and he began to move.

He strengthened himself as his eyes met with mine.

He still tried to smile confidently.

"Your kingdom—?"

I didn't waste my breath talking anymore.

With just a wave of my hand, four miniature suns formed around it.

In an instant, their gravity began sucking his entire body from four directions.

A blink and Kryllios had already lost all four of his limbs.

His body fell down helplessly as I walked towards him.

At the same time, I willed the time to move fast on his body.

In just a second, his middle-aged face was completely gone, replaced by a sickly old man.

"Stay here." I commanded before I let my kingdom dissolve.

When I blinked, I was back at the place I previously left.

Zenith still stood there but she didn't have the clearness in her eyes.

I closed my eyes and recognized every single soldier that could harm her within the kingdom.

I found every one of them and encaged every one of them with my World Tree's branches.

Taking in a deep breath, I let my consciousness cover the entire continent.

It was only for a split second but it was enough to give me a migraine.

I opened my eyes as I digested all the information that I got within that time frame.

'…. Mariam and Mortis are fighting Ragnar.'

I thought, wiping the blood dripping down my nose.

'And there is Edwin….'

I thought only for a second before I made my decision.

Before that, I formed a blade of mana and slit my palm with it.

"In the name of Amun-Ra."

I spoke in a small gentle voice.

"I summon you, my daughters."
