After the Avalanche everyone waited for their notifications but nothing came they looked at each other but most of them glanced at Gordon

"That flaming human killed them all" Scarlet crossed her arms as she looked down

"What should we do now?"Freya looked at Valeria, who was biting her nails and Lucas had crouched down covering his head

"He going to kill us, we failed again, were dead" Lucas mumbled, their eyes widen at the realisation they looked to Gordon but he was climbing down to the buried town

'The mana cores could still be there' Gordon climbed down the destroyed legde, the glowing moon helped him see

"Gordon what are you doing?!" Jones screamed as Gordon vanished into the dust that covered the canyon

"The mana cores can help you get stronger if you eat them" Gordon voice climbed up the slope

They looked at each other "is that true?" Scarlet looked at Valeria

Valeria shrugged then Lucas ran down into the dust "everyone dig before he comes back" he screamed as his figure vanished into the dust

As everyone looked each other Jones ran after Lucas when his figure vanished they followed him

Everyone dug as the wind cleared out the canyon dust a few smiled as they ate the cores they found

The sky glowed as the sun rose but the canyon was still dark as they dug

The ground caved in, the rats and mouse looked at each other "do you think the is something valuable in there?" a mouse spoke

They went silent as wind blew through the canyon then they ran and dug but they frowned as they found an unconscious body

"Gordon!!!" Rat screamed

Gordon stopped digging and looked at the rat "what is it?" the rat pointed to the hole they dug

He looked down to see Vice, his eyes narrowed 'we don't have save him' he stood there staring at the body 'but what will happen to us if he die's'

The other ran to Gordon as stood there staring at the hole some of them smiled while other gasped

"Lets kill him before he kills us" Lucas picked up a rock

"I don't" he crouched down "I just want to know what's the plan after he die's" he looked at everyone

"Lets vote" Valeria spoke everyone smiled except Gordon

"All those who say he should die raise a hand" Valeria raised her hand and everyone did the same except Gordon

"It seems its decided" Scarlet picked up a rock "he die's" she walked to the hole

"Im glade your all happy" he stood up "but we still have a problem" he walked away giving them space to kill Vice

"Whats problem?" Valeria spoke everyone turned and looked at Gordon

He shut his eyes as the dust peppered them, they stood there silent waiting for the dust to clear

"After you kill him" he turned and looked at them "will you still be ratman or will you turn back?"

Scarlet dropped the stone and stomped her feet as she walked to Gordon "you care about his life instead of ours!"

"You don't care about us, your not our friend all you care about is what benefits you the most!" Everyone nodded as they listened to Scarlet

"Then why are alive?" he spoke in a controlled tone "your alive, because I made the hard choices when you were shivering like cowards in that place"

Scarlet stepped back "they died because all they did was run and hide instead of fighting" Gordon stepped closer "all of you are the same" he turned to everyone "non of you know how think past your current troubles"

"Gordon we did the best we could with the strength we had" Valeria stepped forward

"Just shut up Valeria" he looked at her "every choice you make leads us from bad to worse" he walked to her "it was your idea to let him be leader when we knew nothing about him" his voice deepened "it was your choice to use Lucas as an excuse to rebel against him when you couldn't control him like the ratman"

"Gordon stop it" Lucas grabbed Gordon arm as he stood in front of Valeria "or what?" He leaned closer to Lucas "the only thing your good at is making bad choices" he slapped Lucas hand away

"All of you want kill him no problem" he looked at them "but tell me whats next? You'll live your lives in the desert hiding from goblins" everyone looked down

"you can alway go back home wait" Gordon forced a smile " he has the stone of life in his shadow" he sneered at them "if you want to kill him I don't care but at least tell me what plan do you have after he dies"

He walked to hole "He may treat others horribly but at least he gets better results than you" he glared at Valeria
