Chapter 9: Treasure room
"Yeah you're right, the others are expensive and I won't explain in detail right now, when we get there you can find out for yourself" said Jill replying to Glen.
"I became suspicious, hearing what you said, it seems like the wizarding world is an expensive world," Glen made his own conclusion.
"Ok...ok...let's not talk about that, now let's bring some gold for our needs later there" Jill didn't want to continue discussing this problem, she felt it was just a trivial matter.
So she asked Glen to immediately prepare the gold they had.
"Okay, I'll take it from the treasure room," replied Glen.
And leaving the room, he headed to the treasure room, which was in the basement of the maple family manor.
As the name suggests, the treasure room is a room where the valuable treasures of the maple family are stored. Here, apart from the head of the maple family, no one can open the treasure room.
And currently Glen, who is the head of the family, of course has the right to open the treasure room.
The exact location of the treasure room is located under his parents' bedroom.
Seems also had the best security within his family manor.
Entering his parents' room, Glen looked a little nostalgic, he still remembered every time he entered his parents' room.
He will be greeted by his mother who will be busy doing his hair, on the other hand his father will also kindly greet him, by relaxing on the bed while reading a book.
Recalling these memories for a moment, Glen felt he had returned to those happy times.
However, after leaving the feelings of the previous owner of the body, Glen then continued his goal of coming to the room.
Standing right in front of his mother's dressing table, Glen then opened a drawer containing his mother's beautiful accessories, took out a red brooch.
And closing it again, Glen then walked towards the bathroom in the room.
Where then a large mirror is provided for reflecting there, which looks quite striking.
This mirror, which looks beautiful but very auntique, makes the atmosphere of the bathroom which looks cold become quite warm.
Holding the red brooch, then Glen placed the brooch upwards from the mirror, where a hole that was the same size as the brooch held by Glen was visible.
It didn't take long for Glen to place the rice in that place, and immediately the mirror seemed to sink into the wall.
And from there a small door the size of a teenager can be seen, and Glen don't hesitate to enter it.
After few Times he open it and from there a staircase leading to the basement can be seen.
And when clean set his foot right on the stairs, the mirror which had originally been submerged slowly reappeared covering its previous location.
So then there appeared to be no sign of Glen who had entered the basement.
Walking slowly along the stairs, Glen was illuminated by a dim red crystal lamp.
Finding the end of the stairs leads to a large iron door, which if you look closely is 2x2 M high.
It looks very sturdy, "This door is quite big...knock...knock...knock with his hand.
And it's so loud!! Praise Glen.
"Luckily I have the key, otherwise how would I open it?" Glen then took out a gold key from his pocket.
Inserting the keyhole into the iron door, before long a click was heard and the sound of the door opening mechanism was heard.
Not long after, "crack...." The sound of the iron door was heard opening.
And with his eyes, Glen saw the large iron door move slowly inwards, opening a gap that became wider and wider for him.
It's just that there is no light behind the door, only dark black is visible.
Feeling a little confused, Glen ultimately decided to enter the room behind the iron door.
And after he entered, the iron door that was originally open now slowly closed again.
And when his eyes were filled with darkness, a bright light appeared in front of Glen's eyes.
There, a table contains a ceramic basin with a beautiful small knife available.
Seeing this, Glen approached the table, and with an understanding look he then pricked the little blood on his finger with the help of a small knife.
Glen then dripped a few drops of his blood into the ceramic basin, and immediately fire magic appeared to come out of the basin.
And the room, which was originally quite dark, has now changed it became bright, not long after the fire magic went out, the color in the room suddenly changed to sea blue.
Where every corner of the room seemed to be illuminated by blue light, and from there Glen could clearly see that there were many shelves containing various types of treasures stored.
And there are also many closed wooden crates, neatly lined up in every corner of the room.
Seeing this, Glen was of course happy, because now he had seen his goal.
Walking towards a nearby shelf, Glen found various types of gold jewelry looking neatly arranged.
On the other hand, gemstones of various colors also look beautiful sparkling on several existing shelves.
Seeing all this, Glen felt that his family was very rich, and he would never know if he didn't come to this place.
Because as far as he knew, his family was just a small noble with little wealth compared to other nobles.
Satisfied with seeing the treasures on the shelf, Glen then made one of the wooden chests that was right under the shelf, and when he opened it the glint of gold bars lit up his eyes.
"Crazy...so much gold!!!" Glen exclaimed in shock at what he found.
Lifting one he began to look into the wooden chest, while not forgetting to count the number of gold bars inside.
And how surprised he was to find that one wooden box contained 20 gold bars.
And feeling its weight, Glen knew that the gold was at least around 1 kg, and discovering that fact, Glen was quite surprised because this wooden chest contained 20 gold bars.
Which means there is 20 kg of gold, what a big number!!!
"This is around 1 kg, and in this box there are 20 gold bars which means 20 kg of gold!!! If converted into magic coins at an exchange rate of 1 gram of gold = 1 gold coin, that means all the gold in this wooden box is worth 20,000 magic coins!!!!!
That's a really big number!!! He didn't expect that much gold he could get in just one box, looking at the dozens of wooden boxes in this room, he couldn't imagine how much there was.
