Refining the Dao into Godhood: A Tale of the Jie Sect

After careful scrutiny, Xuanqing breathed a sigh of relief. When he enshrined Chi Jingzi, Xi He, and Kunpeng, Pangu hadn't yet noticed, so naturally, Pangu hadn't had the opportunity to leave any backup plans on them.

As for the traces of Pangu's mark, after their fall, when Xuanqing reformed their bodies, he had thoroughly refined them into a part of himself.

Having mastered the Great Dao General, he could refine all Daos, naturally unafraid of that trace of Dao Contamination.

"The Twelve Ancestor Witches, Emperor Jun, Taiyi, Nuwa, Zhen Yuanzi, Primordial Qilin, Jin Ling..."

With each name he recited, his mood grew heavier. For the Twelve Ancestor Witches, as beings evolved from Pangu's Essence Blood, their Great Dao Origin had long been imbued by Pangu Great Dao.

Next were Emperor Jun, Taiyi, and Nuwa; the former two were born from Pangu's left eye or right brain origin. Now transformed into ancestor witches, their Dao Contamination was even deeper.

Then, Zhen Yuanzi, Primordial Qilin, Earth Mother Yuanjun, and Jin Ling Saint Mother, these great powers who mastered the "Moral Kidnapping Array."

The first three bound to the Primordial Land, and Jin Ling Saint Mother bound to the Ancient Starry Sky, all gained abilities that made primordial beings dread them, but invisibly deepened their ties with Pangu.

After all, whether it was the Primordial Land or the Ancient Starry Sky, both were parts of Pangu's physical body. By binding themselves to these places, they essentially linked their own origin with Pangu's origin.

Aside from these, Yuanshi Tianzun and Jieyin Daoist, those beings who had died before, were also entangled with a power of Dao Contamination.

As for Yuanshi Tianzun, transformed from Pangu Primordial Spirit, although he once severed his connection with Pangu, later in mastering Heavenly Dao, his fall severed causality—this broken connection was reestablished, and the marks on him were not any less than on Fu Xi and Nuwa.

Taiching Master and Tongtian Sect Master are currently unaffected.

However, Xuanqing dared not ensure that before the arrival of the Infinite Tribulation, they would stay uninfluenced by Pangu's great Dao contamination.

Both are parts of Pangu Primordial Spirit, crucial to Pangu, who couldn't let them sever their connection with him.

Especially Tongtian Sect Master, his true form, the "Sky-reaching Jianmu," still rooted in Dugang Field, draws Innate Spiritual Energy day and night from the Primordial Land.

Currently, there's little impact, but given time, the resurrection of Pangu's True Spirit might not refrain from assimilating and refining the true form of the Tongtian Sect Master.
