Refining the Dao into Godhood: A Tale of the Jie Sect

He paused, then continued, "In other words, as long as you reveal your plans to me, that fellow Pangu will also know your plans!"

Xuanqing was startled, and the Refining Dao Power instantly enveloped Fu Xi, and indeed, within his Primordial Spirit, there was an enigmatic power that didn't belong to him.

This power, stemming from the same root and origin as Fu Xi, had only subtle differences; without careful examination, it was truly hard to detect any clues.

Xuanqing couldn't help but sigh, "Daoist, you are an Innate Sacred nurtured in the Primordial, and the origin of your Great Dao is indeed evolved from Pangu Great Dao. Although you comprehended the Innate Yi Dao, able to be unchanging while heaven and earth change, you still cannot resist the Power of Dao Infection from Pangu's Power Dao!"

At this moment, the Fu Xi before his eyes was still Fu Xi, but he had already begun to be assimilated by Pangu, no longer the Fu Xi he once knew!

Flower not a flower, mist not a mist, in his memory, Fu Xi had fallen twice—once in the pre-Primordial reshaping War of Witches and Demons, transforming from Innate Sacred Fu Xi into the Human Race's Heavenly Emperor Fu Xi, and another time, willingly falling in a great catastrophe, transforming his Innate Taoist Body into the Ancestral Witch True Body!

The Human Race is the Innate Taoist Body, the last transformation of Pangu's Nine Transformations, while the Witch Clan are descendants nurtured by Pangu Essence Blood and the Great Dao.

Each time Fu Xi falls, his Taoist Body bears more of Pangu's traits, which is actually a manifestation of being assimilated by Pangu Great Dao.

A realization dawned in Xuanqing's heart: "Daoist, you must have realized this long ago, right? Why haven't you tried to sever the connection with Pangu?"

Fu Xi's wisdom was among the foremost in the Primordial Saints, and he couldn't believe that after discovering his abnormal state, Fu Xi hadn't thought to struggle, instead choosing to sit and wait for death?

Fu Xi smiled bitterly, "In the Primordial, everything between heaven and earth was transformed from Pangu. Emperor Jun, Taiyi, Xi He, and Wang Shu were born from Pangu's eyes! In the past, he solely focused on elevating himself and hadn't investigated the origins of Fu Xi and Nuwa, so naturally, he wasn't aware of their connection to Pangu.

To know that flesh, essence blood, primordial spirit, bones, brain, eyes, five viscera, and six bowels all form the foundation of a Taoist Body, but each has its own importance. Some things are optional and can be discarded, while others are fundamental to one's existence!

Every section of the body possesses divinity, with the brain governing thought, meaning Fu Xi and Nuwa's consciousness is actually the closest existence to Pangu.

Just as Xuanqing had this realization, a force of erosion suddenly erupted from Fu Xi, transforming into chains of Great Dao that enveloped him entirely.

These Great Daos, all evolved from the Power Great Dao, contain immortal and indestructible power, and Xuanqing could only fend them off with the Refining Great Dao.
