The resulting explosion of fire and earth threw Shisui backward, sending him skidding across the ground. As he struggled to his feet, dozens of masked ANBU surrounded him.

Emerging from their midst, a familiar, one-eyed figure stepped forward with an arrogant smirk—Danzo.

"Danzo!" Shisui hissed, glaring with contempt. "Why ambush me like a coward?"

Danzo looked down on him like an insect, his tone indifferent yet condescending. "Do you truly not know, Shisui?"
