The shockwave sent the monstrosity flying beyond, but Maria knew she couldn't let it escape or survive. Rushing toward it, she followed the gravitational forces guiding their fall. The monster slammed into Mars, shattering half of its surface as cracks spread everywhere.

Through the cracks, giant explosions of magma erupted everywhere. It turns out Mars was still volcanically active below, enough to create this much chaos from a gigantic body hitting it head-first.
"I NEED MORE…! MORE… ENERGY… MORE MASS…!"
The Living Nightmare Dimension spread its body, turning into a black slime across the entire planet, and began to devour Mars completely.
"This damn bastard!"
Maria grew furious. It had already eaten the Moon and now Mars? This couldn't be allowed to go any further!
The volcanic core of Mars fueled the Living Nightmare Dimension, making it overflow with immense quantities of energy, blazing with nightmare flames.
"I WILL… KILL YOU!"
The Living Nightmare Dimension compressed its body into a more humanoid form, a muscular giant made of volcanic stone, red and black flames, and glowing star-like lights across its body, spanning several hundred kilometers in length.
Maria's size in her true shape was already as big as the Azure Star, but now her foe was rapidly matching her size. She didn't give it time to move, quickly manifesting a giant hammer by fusing her sword and halberd fragments with her Void Tears and Abyssal Dreamwave.
"{Abyssal Dreamforge}: {Nightmare Hammer of Annihilation}!"
Maria forged a Dream Weapon on the spot, shocking the Living Nightmare Dimension. The hammer rushed down, smashing its head and then the rest of its body, flattening them.
"GRAAAH?!"
As it screamed in agony, unable to believe Maria's power remained superior, it attacked her ferociously, growing dozens of arms with sharp claws and swords, attempting to cut her into pieces.
"PERISH!"
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Maria was covered in several deep cuts, as her black and red blood bled out of her wounds everywhere, joining her Void Tear Sea and tainting it with red…

"Thank you for the power-up!"
Maria quickly unleashed the power of the magic circles she had conjured earlier, as her Void Tears and Outer Blood gathered around the monster's entire body.
Each Void Tear turned into a star.
"{Starlit Isolation}!"

An explosion of bright white, gray, and black light erupted, encompassing the Living Nightmare Dimension, whose aberrant body quickly began to regenerate and fight back against Maria's hammer.
However, Maria didn't hesitate to strike again. Smashing the monster's body over and over, she kept it in place as she unleashed one of her strongest new Skills. The strikes from the Living Nightmare Dimension were strong, tearing holes through her, but she felt a golden energy course through her. The Dream Power of everyone within her Shadow Realm fueled her strength, helping her exceed her limits and adapt to her abilities much faster.

The Living Nightmare Dimension tried to tear through Maria's endless blows but quickly realized it was quite hard to do. Maria's wounds rapidly regenerated, the Dream Energy she was being fed was enormous, making her overflow with near-limitless power.
In great frustration, the Living Nightmare Dimension was suddenly and completely isolated from reality, trapped within a giant cage of dying stars and void tears, twisting reality into a swirling chaos of black, gray, red, and purple colors.
"This…! This…! I don't…! I DON'T UNDERSTAND…!"
The entity could not understand what was happening, as it saw the world around it, this twisted new reality Maria had produced to trap it forever. She had finally managed to conjure it, and now, she was the only one capable of ever destroying or freeing it.
And she was not going to do that.
"GRAAAAHHHHH!"
The Living Nightmare Dimension turned into countless monstrosities, the fears and nightmares of every living being to have ever existed, trying to break through as the cage began to rapidly compress, becoming smaller and smaller…

Maria didn't say a word and simply closed her palm, crushing the entire Void Cage born from the Starlit Isolation Skill. Whatever was inside was crushed into atoms and then vaporized into nothingness.

"Is it over?"
Maria thought for a moment, though she felt it wasn't. Amidst the smoke that slowly dissipated, a huge black hole remained from space itself shattering apart. The universe was trembling.
"G-GRAAHHH…! I AM…! INDESTRUCTIBLE…! I AM THE NIGHTMARE…! ITSELF! NOTHING CAN… DESTROY ME…! I MUST CONSUME…! NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!"
Its voice resonated amidst the endless abyss. Maria stepped back, quickly shattering her hammer into pieces and combining them back into a long black and red spear, embedding hundreds of Decaying Stars and Void Tears into it, and combining it with her Abyssal Dreamwave Manipulation and Abyssal Dreamforge Skills, forging an even stronger Supreme Nightmare Weapon.
"I WILL CONSUME YOUUUUUU!"
The Living Nightmare Dimension reached Maria, its body turning into an aberrant mass of arms and giant hands with red eyes, grabbing Maria from every angle and trying to drag her into a massive, aberrant dimensional maw filled with sharp teeth.

The spear pierced through the monster's open dimensional maws, reaching deeper into the core of its dimensional existence, shattering the Dimensional Core, the heart of a Dimension, into pieces.

The monster's countless arms withered in agony and disappeared into black ashes, while the aberrant creature screamed in true horror and agony, its existence beginning to end in that moment. Maria absorbed all of that power through the spear, overflowing with even more strength than ever.
"N-NOOO…! MY BIRTH…! I MUST…!"
And even then, the thing remained somewhat alive, between life and death! Maria had expected this, smirking one last time, as her countless tentacles rose into the cosmos and channeled hundreds of Decaying Stars and Void Tears, forming a massive magic circle.
"It's over! {Starless Apotheosis}!"
And then, everything converged and died within a single point, a singularity was created within the universe in that moment.
