Jonathan's appearance changed, encompassed and fused with his Divine Ember's flames, his divinity erupted, all of his powers channeling, as his body was encompassed by these golden and white flames while a pair of wings sprouted on his back, made of these very divine flames. Glutton glanced at him with a condescending smile even when he was stopped from eating his prey. To the Embodiment of Hunger, the harder a prey was to eat, the tastier they get.

"AAHEEE…! GEHEHEHE!"

As he laughed, his body quickly bounced towards Nyx, impacting her with immense force, only a few seconds have passed since she freed herself from his Domain, unable to catch a signle break, the Nightmare Demon of Hunger easily regenerated from any wound, faster than any other Nightmare Demon they had faced before.

CRAAASH!

"Ugh!"

Nyx gritted her teeth as she swung her Axe, Chaos II, against Glutton, slicing through his body and suddenly splitting him apart!

SLAAASH!

"UUAAEEGGH?!"

Glutton screamed in agony, as Nyx quickly clawed his two halves, but the monster rapidly retaliated, parrying her claws and her weapons with both of his halves, which opened up to reveal his innards, countless jaws with thousands of sharp fangs.

"Eh?! Are you all jaws and teeth?!"

Nyx stepped back, avoiding a double bite, before Glutton unified back together and expanded his Domain once more, Nyx managed to evade it, unleashing her own Axe's Domain to counter it.

"{Nightmare Dragon Domain}!"

FLUOSH!

A Domain of Nightmare Darkness shaped as countless draconic shadows materialized around her, rapidly clashing against Glutton's domain, the warped space exploding and releasing a shockwave, pushing both opponents back.

BOOOMMM!!!

At the same time, Jonathan was done, rushing towards Glutton with his powerful divine blade and swinging it against Glutton at a rapid speed, a ray of light was unleashed from each swing, burning the nightmare demon constantly.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Glutton screamed, rapidly swirling around as countless jaws emerged from every single part of his body, devouring the light while pushing towards Jonathan, jaws beginning to gnaw at his armor.

CRUNCH! CRUNCH! CRUNCH!

"I knew you would do that."

Jonathan smiled, his sword released immense quantities of light, as he imbued it with his Divine Ember, releasing an explosive slash of gold and white flames inside of Glutton's jaws.

BOOOMMM!!!

This explosion was unlike the previous ones that Glutton had taken, instantly dealing tremendous damage to the oblivious demon and making it scream in utter agony.

"GAAAAEEERRGGH!"

As he screamed, Glutton quickly kicked the air, rushing towards Jonathan and pushing him down with immense strength, countless jaws began devouring him once more, only for Nyx to appear behind, both of her axe's abilities combining, unleashing a domain and devastating attacks that manifested phantasmal dragons.

The constant impact of attacks and the damage accumulated made Glutton groan in pain, kicking Nyx away before attempting to devour her weapon, his sharp fangs breaking as he attempted to break through the metal, however!

"AARRGHH?!"

As Glutton cried, Jonathan stabbed his body with his blade several times, unleashing rapid piercing blows that filled the Nightmare Demon with as many holes as possible.

"{Consecutive Shining Justice Strikes}!"

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

Glutton screamed, his body twisted, wrapping around Jonathan while receiving damage and bleeding everywhere, shapeshifting into even more jaws, emerging and tearing apart Jonatha's armor, biting his wings and beginning to dig into his flesh.

"Nnngggh!"

Jonatha's eyes glowed brightly, as his technique was pushed even further, evolving.

"{Consecutive Shining Justice Strikes Echo}!"

As he screamed, Nyx appeared, rushing down and using her techniques, skills, and her dragon breath to overwhelm Glutton, pushing it back just in time for Jonathan's technique.

"{Shining Nova Starfall}!"

His technique evolved, each strike materialized a giant sphere of light and plasma, erupting and blowing up large chunks out of Glutton, whose body constantly received immense damage.

"GRAAAAAGGGHH!"

Glutton screamed in agony, his jaws beginning to be destroyed one after another, as Jonathan didn't stop swinging his blade, up, down, to the left and right, forward and even backward, charging attacks and then swinging it again.

Nyx helped, her draconic powers erupting at full power, her Domain merging with her Aura as a giant Nightmare Phantom Dragon Spirit surged from her body, each of her axe strikes unleashed a destructive claw attack, a dragon breath beam, and a piercing spear tail blow.

Glutton tried to endure all the damage with everything he had, but his body could simply not go that far anymore, constantly being overwhelmed, his Domain erupted, attacking both of them in a desperate last-ditch effort to escape their deadly embrace.

FLUOSH!

The jaws bit through their ankles and legs, blood splattering everywhere, as Glutton laughed, seeing both hesitating, they were about to give him an opening, and he prepared an even bigger jaw, a second from closing and…

"GEEEH?!"

However, he underestimated their courage. Jonathan and Nyx weren't backing down, even as their legs were being bitten and gnawed at, their attacks never stopped.

"PA… PA…!"

His eyes widened as he tried to call his father for help as his entire being was pulverized, holes spreading faster and faster until Nyx's axe finally dug through his flesh, reaching his core…

CRAAASH!

And shattering it into countless fragments.

"UUUGRAAAAGGGGHHHH!"

Glutton screamed in utter agony, his very being turning into black ashes instantly, disappearing with his eyes crying.

Jonathan sighed, resting over the floor while feeling like his ankles were destroyed, coughing blood while feeling fatigued.

"Haaaa… I didn't expect that thing to be so strong…! It was stronger than anything we've ever fought… Nyx! Are you okay?!"

"I'm fine… But yeah uncle, that was hard!"

Nyx nodded, her wounds were already healed thanks to her super-fast regeneration, but Jonathan wasn't the same, he conjured his strongest healing spell, but the wound was healing slowly.

"T-That's good to hear… Thank you, without you we wouldn't have been able to beat that thing. I might have gotten too cocky targeting it alone, I could have died…"

"Don't worry uncle, but are you alright?"

Nyx went towards Jonathan, using a potion and pouring it over his wound, healing it faster.

"Thank you Nyx, unfortunately we have to keep fighting… this isn't even over yet."

The two faced the armies of Nightmare Demons coming at them, even when all three remaining children of the Nightmare Demon King had died, this war would never end unless Maria ended him once and for all.
