Bizarre laughter echoed through the demonic castle as Jonathan chased a literal bouncing ball. The monstrous Glutton, the "strongest" of all Nightmare Demons and the eldest son of the Nightmare Demon King, was playfully bouncing, having turned his body into a balloon.

"Do you even wish to fight for your father?! It feels like you're just a child! If you don't want to fight anymore, then please surrender! Maria will gladly take you under her wing like she has done with the other Nightmare Demons!"

Jonathan finally caught Glutton, as the fat Nightmare Demon found himself behind a corner, glaring at Jonathan with surprise.

"Eeehe?"

"Yeah, you don't even need to fight anymore! And we can feed you anything you want too."

"Geeheee… Like… humans?"

"No, not humans. Wait, you can speak?!"

"Humans… I loveeeeee… Eating humans!"

"What…?!"

Jonathan's eyes widened in disbelief as he saw Glutton's aura manifesting, countless jaws devouring agonizing people, the souls of thousands trapped within his nightmarish stomach.

"Aaaggghhhh!"

"Mamaaaaa! It hurts when he chews on meeeee!"

"My son…! Where is my son?!"

"Uwaaahhh! Uwaaahhhh!"

"Aaaaggggh! The agony won't stop! It won't stop!"

There were not just adult males and females, but also children, crying babies and toddlers, and elderly, all screaming in agony, tens, no, perhaps hundreds of thousands of souls, all of his victims, all of his meals.

Glutton licked his lips with his immensely long tongue as disgusting drool fell from his open jaws, filling the surroundings, making Jonathan both disgusted and furious.

"You monster…! I was wrong to even try to reason with you! The mind of a child?! You're perfectly aware of everything you've done!"

"Will you… Geheheh… let me eat you too?"

"EAT MY BLADE!"

Jonathan had never been so furious before. His Divine Sword overflowed with blinding light as his Divine Ember erupted, golden flames covering his entire body. He swung his blade furiously, unleashing dozens of slashing, blazing attacks against Glutton.

"Oooohhh noooo!"

Glutton panicked, quickly trying to charge at Jonathan. The attacks reached him, but they bounced off his ball-shaped body before he impacted Jonathan with all his strength.

CRAAASH!

"Ugh?!"

Jonathan vomited blood in that moment as he saw Glutton escape his grasp once more, bouncing away from him as quickly as the damned fatty could.

"Come back here!"

He started chasing Glutton, but the Nightmare Demon only laughed and bounced around, avoiding Jonathan while devouring the Undead of Maria's army, snacking on them as he passed by.

"GEHEHEHE…! I LOVE PLAYING TAG…!"

"Hey!"

However, the roar of a little girl reverberated as Nyx stepped forward, using her half-dragon form, which made her larger and more draconic while keeping a compact size within closed interiors. She charged toward Glutton, swinging her giant black axe at him.

"{Spectral Dragon Catastrophe}!"

She unleashed her axe, Chaos II's Ability, swinging it several times and bringing forth a giant army of spectral dragons, attacking Glutton as her axe hit him constantly.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

"GRAAAGGH!"

Glutton screamed in pain. His super-powerful skin, capable of bouncing attacks, was pierced as his blood splattered everywhere while his balloon-like body began losing air, becoming smaller.

"Well done, Nyx! Thanks! We have to take him down quickly, or that monster will eat everyone!"

"Gotcha, uncle!"

Nyx nodded, joining Jonathan as both charged at Glutton from the front and behind. Jonathan aimed at Glutton's face with his blade overflowing with light.

"{Shining Justice Strike}!"

Jonathan swung his blade with expertise as he unleashed his Dream Weapon's newest Ability. His former Divine Blade, which had accompanied him since he was a young hero, had fully evolved into an even stronger form thanks to Maria, becoming a powerful Dream Weapon connected to his very soul.

This weapon had become the [Holy Divine Blade Of Radiant Sunshine: Sol], even receiving a name and new, wonderful abilities. Even though Jonathan had lost his blessing of Baldr, the origin of his powers, he had continued persevering, evolving his own Divine Ember by using the divine blessing fragments left behind after Baldr's death.

And with his Divine Blade, a direct gift from Baldr upon his awakening as a Hero of Sunlight, now evolved into a Dream Weapon, this divine power left behind by the wicked god was now within Jonathan's soul and body.

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

A divine punishment reached Glutton as his entire body was pierced by Jonathan's powerful slicing attacks. Each strike not only sliced through flesh but also generated powerful explosions of holy sunlight, constantly burning the Nightmare Demon's body.

"GRAAAAGGGHH!"

While being attacked from both sides, Glutton panicked. His body monstrously transformed as his Domain expanded, suddenly catching Jonathan and Nyx inside. Countless maws emerged from everywhere, grasping their limbs and beginning to dig through their armor and barriers.

CRUNCH! CRUNCH! CRUNCH!

"Nyx!"

Jonathan panicked as Nyx was caught by the jaws. Her barrier quickly shattered, but the girl's draconic power surged, and an explosion of chaos and phantasmal flames erupted.

BOOOMMM!!!

"AAAUGGH?!"

Glutton screamed in agony as his Domain exploded like a balloon. Nyx, having transformed into her dragon form, released an explosion of pure energy, helping her break free from the Domain.

Nyx quickly reverted to her previous smaller form to avoid being unable to move in these corners, making Jonathan realize this girl was incredibly reliable.

"Don't worry about me, uncle! Go all out! I can take care of myself!"

"Very well!"

Jonathan unleashed all of his power. His Divine Ember covered his entire body with divine golden and white flames as his hair suddenly became longer and spikier, his eyes turning gold and white, glowing brightly. A pair of angelic wings made of these flames sprouted from his back.

This was Jonathan's full power.
