Reborn As A Ghost: Time To Build My Undead Army!

Chapter 1487: Planning

"Don't worry~" I shrugged. "They're all talking or distracted…"

I held Alma's hands gently, as we walked towards the terrace, looking at the volcanic land.

"Can you see that in the distance?" I asked her.

"The… is that a castle?" She asked.

"That's where that big flaming guy and his friends came from, we're conquering it," I said.

"Conquering it?!" She gasped. "But how?"

"We already did, their army is now mine after that contract," I said. "So it's our place, our little kingdom."

"T-That sounds romantic… but I don't know what to say because the place's burning all over…" Alma muttered.

"Yeah I know," I laughed a bit. "I guess it's not that romantic… I just wanted to sound like that. Like, I was gifting you a whole castle."

"W-Would you?" She wondered, surprised.

"Of course, you just ask for it and all of that is yours," I nodded.

"Wow… I-I mean no thanks! It's for the nightmare demon people…" She said. "They've behaved pretty nicely… I guess not all of them are evil, I wouldn't want to take away their homes…"

"Ah, you're as nice as always, Alma," I said, caressing her little head. "That's why you're precious."

"S-Saying such things… You're making me feel embarrassed again…" She said.

"Aw, come on, get used to it, you're my girlfriend now," I said with a smile.

"Hmm…" She nodded, blushing. "Um… So Maria, have you… are Partner, and… Emeraldine? And Nia too?"

"Huh?" I wondered.

"Are they…?" Alma asked.

"Ah… Yes, we're in a relationship…" I said. "I'm sorry… you don't like it?"

"Ah no, I already kind of knew after you explained a few things… I just needed to clarify it…" Alma muttered. "Um… Y-You're not a virgin then?"

"No…" I said. "Sorry… You wanted me to be a virgin? Maybe I could do something about it, if I recreate a new body entirely and use that one-"

"Hahaha, it's fine… I was just… asking dumb stuff," Alma blushed, as she didn't let go of my hand. "I kind of knew that you were amazing and that a lot of people liked you… I never thought I would get you all for myself or something, sounds kind of selfish…"

"Oh…" I was surprised by her words.

"Is Lucifer and Jonathan too?" She asked.

"Ahh… Uh-huh," I nodded.

"Wow… y-you got a whole harem, that's kind like the novels I read," Alma blushed. "So I'm part of a harem?"

"If you put it that way…" I muttered. "But… uh, well, sometimes, Partner and Emeraldine get very loving together, so maybe it's more like a polyamorous relationship."

"Really?" She giggled. "I don't think that still qualifies…"

"Hm, I guess it's very little what they do but I kind of ship them together…" I muttered, rubbing my chin.

"Hahaha, Maria you're overdoing it!" Alma giggled, poking my face with her fingers.

"Eeeh? What's wrong with shipping cute girls together?" I asked. "Don't tell me you are not into Yuri, Alma? Seeing how you love to read Manga online whenever I take a peek at what you're browsing on your phone…"

"Ueh?! Y-You saw?! I'm not a weeb you know? It's just…" She panicked.

"There's nothing to worry about, I'm also a weeb," I nodded.

And since I got into this world that I began browsing a lot of dumb stuff like that, I ended up getting hooked with a lot of new manga I found online. Some similar to the ones from my Earth, like Dragon Warrior Z, or Ten Pieces, for example.

"You are? But… I thought you were the silent, genius and strong beauty of the school…" Alma muttered. "So you got hobbies like that too?"

"Of course!" I nodded. "I am not all like people think, you know? Aside from all the powers I have, I try to be a simple person."

"Hmm, I see…" She nodded. "This is very important information! So becoming your girlfriend has given me all these privileges… I would like to also meet your family one day, Maria…"

"Family? Ah…" I muttered. "Well… I only got my big sister."

"Can't we go visit her later?" Asked Alma. "Once everything is done?"

"Of course, we can," I nodded. "Why not?"

"Ummm… Mas… Master…! We are in the… the fortress… There's still other demons here but… please don't do anything to them, leave them out of this!"

I heard Magnus' voice echoing outside of the terrace, noticing we arrived at the fortress. There was indeed a few hundred more Volcanic Nightmare Demons there.

He probably wanted us to get ambushed by them and lose or something, I could tell they had their weapons ready for battle.

"They seem to have intentions of fighting, Alma, can you feel their bloodlust?" I asked her.

"Y-Yes… it's intense, over a hundred more nightmare demons are there…" Alma said.

"What do you think we should do?" I asked her. "I'll leave it up to you. We move on and leave them be? Or we attack?"

"It would be better to move on, I would rather just not risk a battle…" She said.

"Hmm, alright then, let's move on-"

"Wait…!"

However, Alma interrumpted my words before I could give a command to my Undead Army.

"But… They don't seem like the type that would simply give up," said Alma. "They will most likely chase us from behind and eventually ambush us once we meet other demons in the swamp layer…"

"So?" I asked with a smile.

"I think we need to at least weaken them…" She muttered. "But it would be better if… you make them your friends like before? With that contract?"

"But they're a lot, are you sure it would work easily?" I asked, beginning to realize my little Alma was more of a strategist than I ever imagined.

"I got an idea, I'll obviously abuse my magic," she said with confidence. "I'm already conjuring a powerful Spell using Undine… But I might need Celes support."

"No, you don't," I said. "Alma, you're strong on your own already. I believe you can do it. Little Celes could do it on his own too, but you too got that potential."
