Chapter 66: Icarus's Mistress
"Next, to increase our chances of beating Icarus, we need to ask for help from the Aurora Guild. Is that all right with you, BlueB*?"
"I told you before and I'm telling you once again for the last time, PoodlePup... I'm not asking for help from those FAQERS AT THE AURORA GUILD!"
The conversation between SilverPup and BlueHeroine made Luel curious about BlueHeroine's connection with the Aurora Guild, which is also one of the top six Guilds in RAIDS ONLINE.
"So what exactly happened with the Aurora Guild, BlueHeroine?"
Luel's question made BlueHeroine quiet, unable to answer as she hid her embarrassed face behind her long blue hair away from Luel.
"Ohh my... So wifey is hiding her dark secret from her hubby."
"Shut up, PoodlePup!"
BlueHeroine screams in anger at SilverPup, trying to make her stop talking and get Luel more curious about her connection with the Aurora Guild. However, it's already too late as BlueHeroine saw the nasty smile displayed on SilverPup's face.
...DING!!!...
"Huh?... Icarus's Mistress?"
Just hearing the words that Luel says after receiving a notification message made BlueHeroine immediately comprehend what is it about.
"What's up with this video that you sent me, SilverPup?"
"Go ahead and watch it, Lucent."
"NO!!!.. "
BlueHeroine forcefully breaks free from Luel's restraints and pushes Luel onto the floor to stop him from playing and watching the video that SilverPup sent to him.
"Sheesh... As much as I like to see you two do indecent things, this is not the time for it."
SilverPup raises her arms to slip out of her jacket that Luel's 6-meter class silver light wolf is biting into to restrain her.
After escaping and landing on the ground, she immediately grabs BlueHeroine from behind, like how Luel is always embracing BlueHeroine and pulls her away from Luel.
"Why do you still have that video, PoodlePup? I have that deleted in the RAIDS ONLINE server when I became a RAIDS ONLINE officer."
"It's the last copy that I personally save to used against you someday, B*!"
BlueHeroine began to panic, knowing that there was still one last copy that showed her darkest secrets in her early days as a RAIDS ONLINE player before she became obsessed with her Player's Nightmare and began to seriously play to beat and complete the game.
"This is payback for dropping me off during the fight against Dullahan."
After whispering to BlueHeroine about her real intention, SilverPup looks at Luel, telling him to use the opportunity and watch the video.
"Aren't you interested in knowing more about BlueB*, Lucent?"
"Please don't watch that video, Lucent!"
Feeling conflicted about what to do, Luel couldn't decide. He wanted to see what kind of video SilverPup was talking about, but at the same time, he didn't want to make BlueHeroine feel displeased by uncovering her secret without her consent.
While still sitting on the floor, Luel looks at BlueHeroine and expresses his honest feelings about their situation.
"Can't I really learn about this secret of yours, BlueHeroine?"
"Come on, BlueB*. Your husband is saying such a sweet thing. What are you going to say to him?"
While still being restrained by SilverPup, BlueHeroine cannot help but feel embarrassed about Luel and SilverPup's remark.
BlueHeroine looks at Luel while still hiding her blushing face behind her long blue hair before she finally agreed and give her consent for Luel to watch the video.
"Only if you promise that you won't hate me after you watch it, Lucent."
"There's no way your dear husband would hate you, BlueB*. Isn't that right, Lucent?"
Disregarding SilverPup's remark about being husband and wife, BlueHeroine looks at Lucent, asking for confirmation if either he would hate her for whatever he's about to see in SilverPup's video about her past.
"It's not like you're someone who would do something unreasonable without a proper reason. So there's no way I would hate you, BlueHeroine."
BlueHeroine feels delighted after hearing Luel's reply. However...
"Pfft, Hahaha..."
"Don't laugh, PoodlePup!"
"Let's see if you can keep your word after watching that video, Lucent."

As the Guild made up of RAIDS ONLINE players with the only Devour Class avatar that can freely soar into the night sky, the Aurora Guild is indeed proud of themselves. Yet it's not the only reason why BlueHeroine hates them so much.
Half a year after Amy started playing RAIDS ONLINE before breaking through the 50 percent Link Force boundary, she was invited by the Aurora Guild to become their official member.
However, that invitation comes with one condition. And that is for Amy or, rather, BlueHeroine to be married in-game to the Guild Master of the Aurora Guild.
Since Amy is playing only to relieve her stress from her work as an Idol, she doesn't pay any attention to the invitation of the Aurora Guild.
But after a week of being ignored, the Guild Master of the Aurora Guild gets pissed off and makes a video insulting BlueHeroine not only for her behavior of causing collateral damage to other RAIDS ONLINE players while fighting high-ranking Ragnarok Beasts and also for her prideful personality of ignoring every invitation from other top Guilds.
That video pissed off Amy the most even more than Icarus and SilverPup. That's why Amy challenges the whole Aurora Guild into a PVP (player versus player) fight.
There's actually no concept of PVP in RAIDS ONLINE. But players fighting between each other and player killing is still possible.
The video that Luel is currently watching, entitled Icarus's Mistress, is the last video of Amy's fight against the Guild Master of the Aurora Guild and other hundred of its members. Or, to be more exact, the last remaining evidence of Amy murdering almost a hundred Devour Aurora Class players in the most gruesome and cruel way possible.
The Aurora Guild didn't stand a chance against Amy in a mid-air battle within the night sky. She overpowered a hundred players with her higher Link Force and outmaneuvered even the Guild Master and Vise Guild Master with her high coordination and reflexes.
And worst of all, Amy let all of her enemies experience the worst way of death that a player in the Devour Aurora Class can suffer.
The Devour Vermilion Beast Aurora is the only Devour Class that can freely soar into the night sky, but that is also something they fear as they are the ones who can always experience death by falling from the sky and crashing into the ground.
That day, Amy clipped more than a hundred pairs of wings and dropped a hundred players into the ground straight to their gruesome and cruel deaths, earning her the title of Icarus's Mistress.

Luel couldn't even dare to look at the part of the video showing the corpse of the players' avatar who fell to their death.
BlueHeroine was so embarrassed watching Luel covers his eyes with both of his hands every time a scream of death would be heard from the audio of the video.
SilverPup can't help but grin seeing Luel and BlueHeroine's reaction.
After watching a half-hour video of BlueHeroine's murder act, SilverPup finally releases BlueHeroine, whose mind has completely shut down due to embarrassment, and asks Luel for his opinion regarding what he had watched.
"So anything new about how you feel towards BlueVillainess, Lucent?"
"Well, her villainess look is actually kind of cool..."
"Damn it... How much do you love your wife, Lucent?!"
