RAIDS ONLINE: RAGNAROK BEAST

She could have evaded all the large debris of rocks thrown at her. Yet her worries for Luel and SilverPup, suddenly stopping with their movements and attacks like something has chained them on the ground, made BlueHeroine lose her focus and coordination.

She was hit by a rock with the size that was almost half of her height.

For the first in a while, she felt pain. Something she got used to due to her recklessness in the past fighting high-ranking Ragnarok Beasts on her own.

For a moment, she lost consciousness, but before she did, she already knew what was about to happen to her.

Her wings have been clipped due to the rock that hit her.

Her body is losing strength as she falls from the night sky towards the ground.

As she lost consciousness, the radiant light engulfing her body started to fade.

She's about to die or, rather, her avatar is.

But as she waits for her painful death, crushing into the ground as she falls, she feels a warm light engulfing her body.

BlueHeroine opens her eyes and finds herself lying down, not on the blackened ground but on the body of the blue radiant phoenix that she summoned earlier using her Morph Skill.

The blue radiant phoenix has caught her and cushioned her fall, saving her from falling to her death.

At the moment that she stood on her feet, she heard a howl coming from a distance. A howl of a Devour Beast telling her that he hasn't been defeated and killed yet, that he's still alive and fighting with everything he has, and that he's still waiting, believing for her to come back.

Her wings have been clipped, and her light has already faded, but it doesn't mean she has already lost her strength to fly. It doesn't mean she has already lost the power of her Devour Beast within her avatar.

The only Devour Beast that can freely soar into the sky.

The Devour Beast that would give strength to those who look at the sky searching for hope.

The Devour Vermilion Beast Aurora.

"AURORA!"

In response to BlueHeroine's will, the blue radiant phoenix disintegrates, returning its radiant light into BlueHeroine's avatar.

Her wings start to heal, and the radiant light that engulfs her body returns.

The blue radiant phoenix gives back her wings and light so BlueHeroine can fight once again.

"Radiance x Aurora's Wings - Red Sprite!"

BlueHeroine activates her Red Sprite Skill, engulfing her body with a red radiant light. She then flew back towards the night sky, and at the moment she reached the height where she could clearly see the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast Garmr rampaging with Luel stuck in its jaws, BlueHeroine made her dive.

A trail of red radiant light was form in the night sky. Its direction indicates that it is heading towards the ground. But this time, it wasn't going to fall but collided with its mark.

...BOOMMM!...

BlueHeroine collided straight with Garmr's body, and the red radiant light engulfing her body expanded, moving and devouring half of the 30-meter class Ragnarok Beast.

...ROOAAARRRRR!...

Garmr roars in pain as the red radiant light devouring its upper body disintegrates its fur and skin. It fell to the ground, and Luel lost his grip on its fangs and was tossed mid-air.

His body has already received so many injuries after getting slammed into the ground repeatedly, and falling into the ground once more wouldn't make any difference. That's why Luel braced himself to feel pain once again.

But as Luel is about to hit the ground, BlueHeroine catches him, as if giving him a bridal carry while hovering mid-air.

"You did well fight on your own, Lucent."

BlueHeroine gave a smile as she complimented Luel's effort to fight Garmr on his own.

Luel, on the other hand, has another thing on his mind, which doesn't concern with their dire situation, while looking at BlueHeroine with a nostalgic smile.

...Right, I fell for this Idol because of how cool she looks as she stands on the stage, just like right now...

"Can you still fight? Don't die on me now, Lucent."

"I'm fine. I just got lightheaded for a moment."

BlueHeroine landed on the ground with Luel still in her hands.

After helping Luel stand on his own, BlueHeroine asks for what she missed in their fight.

"Where is PoodlePup?"

BlueHeroine didn't see what happened to SilverPup which is why she needs to confirm if she's still alive for them to progress with their battle strategy against the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast Garmr.

"I don't know. She's probably somewhere under all the rubble of rocks. But I'm sure she's still alive."

Luel didn't have any basis for his assumption, but he was sure that someone like SilverPup, who's a veteran RAIDS ONLINE player, wouldn't go down with just a single strike, even from a Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast.

"Then that should be fine. Let's proceed with our plan, Lucent!"

"Okay!"

Garmr was able to get back on its feet.

Its body remains stained with its own blood coming out of all of its wounds and injuries.

The surface of its face and upper body has been disintegrated by the red radiant light that is still engulfing a portion of its body.

Yet even though it's suffering in pain, the fearsome glare on its eyes remains.

...ROOAAARRRRR!!!...

Garmr made a loud roar as if saying that it's still the one who have the advantage on their fight, that there's nothing the Guardian Beast can do to turn the tide of battle.

"You're gonna pay for throwing rocks at me, YOU FAQING DOG!"

BlueHeroine flies mid-air and dashes towards Garmr without giving the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast a chance to gain momentum with its large body.

"Radiance x Aurora's Light - Blue Jet!"

When BlueHeroine made it above Garmr, she activated her Blue Jet Skill, releasing a blue radiant flare that hit Garmr from above like a lightning.

...ROOAAARRRRR!...

Garmr endures the disintegrating blue radiant light. It dug its right claw into the ground and swung it towards BlueHeroine to once again throw large debris of rocks at her.

"Didn't make fun of me! That trick won't work again!"

BlueHeroine glides mid-air, dodging all the large debris of rocks flying in her direction.

While Garmr has its attention on BlueHeroine, Luel follows up with his attack.

"Orions Fangs!"

Luel charged under the body of the 30-meter class Ragnarok Beast and activated his Orion's Fangs Skill, releasing a 3-meter class silver light wolf head aura that bit Garmr's right front limb.

Luel's silver light wolf head aura failed to tear apart Garmr's right front limb, yet it managed to make the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast lose its balance, making it stumble onto the ground.

BlueHeroine and Luel have almost exhausted the power of their Devour Beasts within their avatar, leaving them with only one or two Skills to use before they are completely depleted.

Their previous attack against Garmr is the last of what they were capable of. Yet Garmr still manages to stand up and continue to fight.

However, the Guardian Beast has already accomplished their goal.

They were able to make Garmr reach its limit with its Blood-stained Hound unique skill.

It remains a 30-meter class Ragnarok Beast even after receiving more damage and injuries with their attacks.

Right now, the Guardian Beast is ready to use their trump card against Garmr.

"Lucent!"

"I know!... Charge x Howl..."

"Radiance x Aurora's Light..."

...Moonlight x Halo - Moon Halo!...

...Stop sleeping and wake up, POODLEPUP! / SILVERPUP!...
