RAIDS ONLINE: RAGNAROK BEAST

Garmr, like how it was told in mythology, is a chained blood-stained fearsome hound that guards the entrance to the underworld. Yet that wasn't the only reason how the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast Garmr got its codename.

Its unique skill, Blood-stained Hound, gives the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast the right to claim the codename Garmr.

Different from Rank A Ragnarok Beasts like Cerberus which has Dark, Flame, Lightning, and Ice Elements, or the Rank B Ragnarok Beast Icarus which has Flame Element, Rank C Ragnarok Beasts can't or, rather, don't have any Element to integrate into their attacks.

However, among the Rank C Ragnarok Beasts are rare ones that have a unique skill.

The Blood-stained Hound unique skill allows Garmr to withstand any one-hit one-kill skills from all RAIDS ONLINE players. It also empowered Garmr, making the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast stronger at each attack it would receive, bigger at each wound and injury, and more fearsome at each drop of blood it would bleed.

It might be a Rank C Ragnarok Beast yet at its full strength with the Blood-stained Hound unique skill, Garmr can reach the strength equal to a Rank B Ragnarok Beast.

In front of Luel is a 15-meter class Ragnarok Beast.

Its body is covered with wounds caused by the Aura Blades Skill of Luel, BlueHeroine, and SilverPup.

Its body has been stained with its own blood, along with the ground where it stands.

It was the image of a dying beast at its last breath, yet the fearsome glare in its eyes says that the one who should be afraid is its opponent.

That is Garmr, the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Blood-stained Hound Beast.

...ROOAAARRRRR!!!...

"Don't stop your attacks!"

At BlueHeroine's command, Luel and SilverPup continue to attack the 17-meter class Ragnarok Beast from the ground.

...Charge x Howl x Orion's Claws - New Moon!!...

Luel and SilverPup chose to activate their New Moon Skill that focuses on highly increased speed. They swiftly dash around Garmr, dealing more injuries and damage with their sliver light aura claws.

Their battle strategy is to challenge Garmr in the contest of speed. After all, there's no way Luel and SilverPup can overwhelm Garmr's large body even with the highly increased strength given by their Full Moon Skill.

While Luel and SilverPup are on the ground on each side of Garmr and continuing their attacks to get the attention of the bloodstained hound, BlueHeroine keeps on hovering in the night sky while preparing her next attack.

"Radiance x Talons - Aura Blades!"

BlueHeroine dives from the night sky towards Garmr, leaving a trail of blue light from her radiant wings and the blue light aura talons on her hands. Using the momentum of her dive, BlueHeroine tries to decapitate Garmr as she lands her attack directly on Garmr's nape. But her Aura Blades shattered as soon as it collided with the bones within its neck.

...ROOAAARRRRR!!!...

Feeling the pain from her attack, Garmr's attention shifted toward BlueHeroine. Garmr turned around and tried to bite her as it made a jump mid-air.

BlueHeroine managed to dodge Garmr's jaws that could crushed and swallow her in a single bite. She then flew further above the night sky to prepare her next.

Garmr fell into the ground, and the impact of its fall made the ground around the 20-meter class bloodstained hound shatter and tremble. It looks above, waiting for BlueHeroine's next attack. But as its attention was shifted towards the trail of blue light hovering in the night sky...

"Don't you dare look away from us!"

"We're your opponent, you damn dog!"

...Orion's Claws!!...

SilverPup and Luel attack with their Orion's Claws Skill, tearing apart Garmr's body at each side. Their attacks cause more lethal damage to Garmr but, at the same time, increase the efficiency of its Blood-stained Hound unique skill.

...ROOAAARRRRR!!!...

Garmr has already reached the size of a 22-meter class Ragnarok Beast. It already has the size of a Rank B Ragnarok Beast, and in just a few more damage, it will soon become as large as the 30-meter class Rank A Ragnarok Beast Cerberus.

However, as Garmr becomes stronger, it also means that it's approaching its limit.

...Just a bit more and we're going to win!...

With that goal in mind, the Guardian Beast intensified their attacks towards the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast.

"Charge x Orion's Fangs - Morph!"

"Radiance x Aurora's Light - Morph!"

Luel and BlueHeroine activate their Morph Skill.

Luel summons a 3-meter class silver shadow wolf to continue getting Garmr's attention, while BlueHeroine summons a 6-meter class blue radiant phoenix to increase her attacks, trying to take down the 25-meter class Ragnarok Beast.

The more they continue their attacks, the more Garmr gets wounded and sheds blood, and the stronger the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast becomes.

It was an inevitable consequence, like a fool's plan, that increased their chance of winning and losing at the same. Yet it was a fight or, rather, a face-off that the Guardian Beast needed to accomplish to achieve their goal.

The only thing they could do was to be prepared for anything that Garmr might do to change the outcome of the fight. And they're ready for everything, or so they thought.

...ROOAAARRRRR!!!...

With a loud roar different from what they had heard before, Luel and SilverPup's movements came to a halt. Even Luel's silver shadow wolf came to a stop from where it was standing.

It's like their feet, their whole body, have been chained to the ground. They are unable to move and run away from where they are standing.

"What is happening, SilverPup?"

SilverPup has told everything that the Orion Guild knows about the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast Garmr. That's why Luel is confused at how Garmr managed to stop their movements and restrain the two of them.

"BlueB*!"

SilverPup's scream isn't a call for help from BlueHeroine but, rather, a warning for her to evade Garmr's incoming attack.

Garmr might not have any Element to integrate on its attacks. But after becoming a 28-meter class Ragnarok Beast, the strength of its huge body would be enough to reach BlueHeroine, who's still flying into the night sky.

It digs its right claws into the ground, then swings it towards the night sky in BlueHeroine's direction.

Multiple large debris of rocks went flying towards BlueHeroine. She was able to dodge most of it but not all of them.

"BlueHeroine!"

Luel screams in panic after seeing BlueHeroine get hit by large debris of rocks and fall to the ground further away from them. He tries to force himself free from Garmr's restraining skill to help BlueHeroine.

But BlueHeroine's safety should be the least of his concerns. After all, Luel and SilverPup remain unable to move in front of the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast Garmr.

"Lucen..."

...BOOMMM!...

Before SilverPup can give her instruction to Luel, Garmr attacks her with a swing of its left claws.

SilverPup was thrown and crushed toward a hill of rock a hundred meters away from Luel, rendering her unconscious.

Garmr then trampled Luel's silver shadow wolf in a single stomp, leaving Luel alone to face the 30-meter class Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast.
