Konoha, Ichiraku Ramen Shop.

"Kaitan, I heard you've started leading a team. Is it dangerous?" Shouda asked while holding a bowl of noodles.

Kaitan slurped his ramen and replied, "It's just a small genin team doing D-rank missions. It's nothing dangerous."

Shouda nodded, seemingly reassured. "Aren't you supposed to supervise them all the time?"

"Ah, these are just basic physical tasks," Kaitan said with a grin. "A Shadow Clone is more than enough to watch over them while I handle other things."

Behind the counter, Calamus chuckled. "Brother Kaitan, isn't that a little irresponsible? I think other captains would be more hands-on with their teams."

Kaitan waved it off. "Come on, Calamus. I take my duties seriously. Every mission assigned by the village is completed without fail. No one can fault me." He grinned, finishing his bowl with a satisfied slurp.

Truthfully, Kaitan paid close attention to his team. Despite his relaxed demeanor, he was always thinking about their growth. Over the past two weeks, the trio's energy remained boundless. Whether it was chasing lost pets or organizing supplies, as long as he invoked the "Will of Fire," their enthusiasm never wavered.

"If I'd known they were this easy to motivate, I wouldn't have bothered coming up with creative ways to push them through tasks," Kaitan mused.

Turning to Calamus, he said, "By the way, let's talk about something important. When are we getting married? I want two healthy boys, and I'll train them to be stronger than the God of Shinobi himself!"

Calamus froze, her face turning a deep crimson. "W-What did you just say?" she stammered.

"Let's plan for our future!"

Shouda's expression turned serious. "You're both young. Give it a couple more years."

"Of course, we're in no rush," Kaitan said confidently. "But it's better to discuss it early so we can prepare!"

Shouda sighed, gesturing to the customers nearby. "Save this conversation for later. Come by the house tonight, and we'll talk in private."

Kaitan beamed. "Understood, Shouda! Thanks!"

Calamus couldn't help but smile shyly, her heart pounding. "Why do I always feel so flustered around him?" she thought.

Training Grounds No. 98.

"First, never act out of emotion.

Second, never do anything harmful to the village.

Third, never abandon the belief in inheriting the Will of Fire."

"Yes, Captain!" the trio chorused.

Kaitan arrived just in time to hear his Shadow Clone reciting these words. He groaned inwardly. "Am I turning into a cliché sensei?"

With a hand seal, he dispelled the Shadow Clone. The trio blinked in surprise when the clone disappeared.

"Shadow Clone?" Iruka asked in shock.

Kaitan emerged from the shadows, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. "Forget what the clone said. It was just a joke."

Iruka, however, was indignant. "Captain, how can we forget? Those three principles are profound. They reflect your commitment to the Will of Fire!"

Thorny Iron Wire and Mibu Shenu nodded vigorously.

Kaitan stared at them, dumbfounded. "They're taking this way too seriously..."

Iruka continued passionately, "Captain, we truly admire your dedication. Your words inspire us to strive harder!"

Kaitan sighed. "If they hold onto this mindset, they'll keep the Will of Fire alive for the next century."

"Ahem," he said, trying to change the subject. "As long as you understand my ideals, let's move on. I have new training plans for you."

The trio perked up instantly.

"Captain, are you going to teach us Genjutsu?" Iruka asked excitedly.

"In the past two weeks, you've built mental endurance, improved your tracking skills, and sharpened your patience," Kaitan began. "You've shown significant progress in these basic ninja qualities.

"But to truly excel, you must strengthen your individual abilities. Intelligence and teamwork are crucial, but a ninja's strength is equally important."

The trio nodded eagerly.

"I've created a personalized training plan for each of you to help you become excellent ninjas," Kaitan announced.

Hearing this, the trio was overjoyed.

Iruka asked, "Will we learn Genjutsu, Captain?"

Kaitan chuckled. "Genjutsu is advanced. You three are still beginners. Don't be too ambitious."

The trio pouted but didn't complain.

---

Over the next few hours, Kaitan introduced the training regimen.

For Mibu Shenu, who had sharp perception skills, Kaitan focused on refining sensory techniques. "You'll train to detect chakra signatures and analyze their nature. This will make you invaluable in tracking missions and combat scenarios."

Thorny Iron Wire, with his raw strength, was tasked with perfecting taijutsu techniques. "Your physical power is your strength. But power without control is useless. I'll teach you how to combine strength with precision."

Finally, Iruka's intelligence and analytical skills were honed further. "You're a natural strategist, but strategy requires quick thinking under pressure. I'll put you through mental exercises to enhance your decision-making."

Each session was tailored to their strengths and weaknesses, with Kaitan supervising closely.

---

By evening, the trio sat on the training ground, exhausted but satisfied.

"Captain, this training is tough, but we can feel ourselves improving," Shenu said, wiping sweat from his brow.

"Good," Kaitan said, sitting on a rock nearby. "Remember, growth isn't instant. Hard work and consistency will take you far."

"Captain, why are you so dedicated to training us?" Iruka asked curiously.

Kaitan smiled. "Because as a leader, it's my responsibility. I've seen what happens when young ninjas lack proper guidance. I won't let that happen to you."

The trio exchanged glances, their admiration for Kaitan growing even deeper.

"Alright, that's enough for today. Go home, rest, and come back tomorrow ready to work even harder."

"Yes, Captain!"

As the three left, Kaitan stayed behind, staring at the setting sun. "They have potential," he thought. "But the path of a ninja is never easy. I hope I can prepare them for what's to come."

With that, he headed home, ready to face another day of guiding his team—and maybe planning his future with Calamus.
