This, Rift valley city has around twenty five thousand people living in it. This valley has a second level spiritual vein, so this city is filled with cultivators.

One spiritual boat landed in nearby a village. Su Kang used his spiritual qi to lift Bai yunxi out of the boat. She noticed this move and it's implications as well.

Su Kang left her behind and went to enquire about something. He asked some mortals and qi cultivators some questions then left in certain direction.

Bai yunxi did not know anything. She is confused about this whole situation but she followed behind him.

After walking for more than fifteen minutes, she arrived at a small bamboo hut. Su Kang went forward and knock on the door.

Then after some time an old man with white hair, muscular looking body with an average face opened the door. His face has few wrinkles on them.

" Who are you?" He asked in heavy voice.

" I'm looking for a woman, some people said that maybe this is her house. Can I take a look at her before confirming." Su Kang told him.

The old man looked at him and understood that this person has a background. Someone like him will not lie to him.

" Okay, come inside and take a look at her." Old man said while inviting him.

Su Kang went in and hints at her to follow him. After going inside, she found a wooden bed. An old woman in gray robe lay up in the bed, her face has some wrinkles on them but it still looks beautiful. Her hairs are mostly black with some white hairs in them.

She looked at Su Kang then turned to old man with a confused expression. Bai yunxi came and looked at this woman and then the old woman also noticed her presence.

The old woman expression finally changed to shocked one. Bai yunxi also thought of something and she suddenly ran to bed side. Her eyes started to turn wet.

The old woman also started crying at this time. She raised her hands to hold Bai yunxi's face. Then Bai yunxi noticed that woman did not had right hand. Her right hand from elbow was missing.

Bai yunxi can't hold anymore and started crying. Her mother was crying as well.

" My daughter....my daughter...(sob)"

" Mother..aah.. you... alive.. mother"

Both mother and daughter are crying while embracing each other. Su Kang and old man did not disturbed them. The Oldman is relieved while looking at them.

Su Kang then left without letting them know. He left the village and disappeared in certain direction.

Bai yunxi and her mother both calmed down after crying their grievances. Then they started asking about each other past. The old man brewed tea for them and served them.

Her mother told her that some people used beasts to attack them. Her father sacrificed himself to save her. He fooled them and let her escape through water boat. But even then she was attacked by wild water beasts. She lost half of her right hand and her right leg from knee.

She was saved by the hunters. She was unconscious for two months. After waking up, she couldn't remember anything. She lost her memory and she did not have any spiritual qi around her to help her.

In the beginning she settled in the hunter village, later she moved. With her somewhat strong body, she decided to live as a hunter. She kept moving from places to places.

She settled in this city ten years ago and lived here. A few years ago she slowly started to remember about her previous life. She had lost her strength too much because she stopped cultivating and she was too far away from Qin city so she again decided to earn money for her travel.

The old man is her partner in hunting. He is from this village and a low level cultivator. They both hunts together.

Old man He took children out and left saying goodbye. Both mother and daughter slept together and talked until mid night before sleeping.

Next morning after eating breakfast, Su Kang did not appear yet. Bai yunxi is feeling off about Su kang's disappearance. She is worried about him.

Her mother noticed this and asked.

" Where is the young man who brought you here?"

She told her mother everything about Su Kang and her.

Li Xiao was a disciple of Qingyun sect and they thought in future he might help Bai yunxi too in cultivation. Her daughter did all this for them.

Bai yunxi is looking down and silent. She didn't want anger her mother so soon after meeting her.

" Mother, our background is so different. He is .."

" Do you like him or not?" Her mother asked cutting her in mid sentences.

Bai thought about it. She felt all kinds of emotions with him. She has felt happiness, embarassment, shyness, angry, calm, sadness, and safe with him.

Observing her daughter's face, she understood her heart.

" Xi'er , You should at least give it a try. You might find your happiness."

" I have already thought about this. Mother, you don't have to worry about this." She said with a reassuring smile to her mother.
