Minato P.o.v
Minato looking at the crator,saw a small body stirring. The boy rather looked as if he was grumbling something he could not make out.
Dan P.o.v
' The Nexus should really give a heads up when doing interdimensional travel ' I thought as I got up. It took me a few seconds to realise that something was irreparable wrong. My body felt weird, my hands looked small. My first reaction was to scream but I quickly squashed the impulse. Looking around me I saw I was in a crator. Looking up I noticed a blonde haired man with sky blue eyes staring at me with a lost look . To bring him out of his stupor I spoke jokingly first to snap out the dazed young hokage" Lovely weather we are having, it's raining tailed beasts and boys.".
I saw Minato trying to make sense of what I just said and finally regained himself.
Minato p.o.v
' This kid just knocked out the kyuubi, he might be dangerous.' Though Minato. That is when the child spoke. What he said stunned me but my ninja training kicked in so I hopefully didn't show anything in my face or body language.
General p.o.v
"Who are you?". Asked Minato. 'This guy sure asks the most difficult questions right off the bat.' I thought.
" My name is Dan Senjumaki nee Otsutsuki" I answered waiting for his response.
I saw the his eyes dilated a bit.' This introduction,why does he sound like those Nobles and the way he talks it's as if he doesn't belong to this era. I figure his name is Dan. Then Senjumaki must be his clan name. Otsutsuki must be his descending clan.'.
"Where are you from?". Asked the Hokage.
'What the heck? , What was that?. I am Dan Livingston not Senjumaki nee Otsutsuki. Where did that come from.' I was debating what I just said as if I could not control what came out of my mouth. The question brought me out of my thoughts.
'' I came from a time before so I don't think my folly in the art of sealing will be easy to explain but to summerize I was making a time seal that would make me forever young. But it seems like I failed in a good way as I am young again but I seem to have slipped into another time.". I said not believing what just spewed out of my mouth.
Minato seems to be able to get the gist of what I just said and asked.
"What now is your purpose?"
I spoke without restraint and said " I will be looking at what my descendants have achieved in the years I have been gone and see if this world has anything to offer me now that I have been thrown at this point in time. My forebares descend directly from the Rabbit goddess the being who introduced chakra to this world I will see what kind of world have humanity created with this gift.".
This revelation shook the hokage abit and words stuck in his throat unable to retort having heard the claim of my words.
"Dan how old are you really?". Asked the Hokage Minato.
I took my time to answer his query as not to cause any misunderstanding between us.
" I am physically 5 years old currently, but my soul is 134 years old.". I answered the young Hokage.
Minato was taken aback by this answer and the question unconsciously stemmed out" How?" . He asked.
I answered him puffing my chest a bit in pride and said" Sealing discipline can achieve anything in this world. Chakra has made this world to yield to our will and make the impossible possible. Even before the descent of the Rabbit goddess this world has always been close to the supernatural. The gods of old,demons and sages watched over this world before the advent of chakra. The warriors harnessed their chi,qi or ki to battle and overcome the rigours of the battlefield. This power broken down to spiritual energy and natural energy allowed them to perform feats that would be more magical than the one chakra can recreate. Sealing can rewrite reality and imprison the strongest of gods, demons and sages. Nothing is out of reach with the knowledge of sealing. I will demonstrate for you shortly. ".
At this instance I tried to channel chakra but to my horror it did not work. I quickly did an internal scan finding that my chakra has completely separated to the physical and spiritual energies and a void was between the two. I nervously looked around as if finally noticing the nine tail fox.
" This fragment of the chakra fruit god tree could be of use since it possess both spiritual and physical energy.". I said looking at the knocked down Kyuubi.
" What do you want to do with the Kyuubi?". Asked Minato
" I will seal it into my soul making sure that it does not rampage again.". I said.
" No, I was going to seal it inside my child.". Said Minato.
"It's fine bring the child I will seal the fragment into the childs soul.". I responded to Minato.
Scene P.O.V change
Minato having used the flying thunder god to leave I analyzed the technique as I sensed the brief space fluctuations the technique causes when executed.
Minato arrived at the hidden house where his wife Kushina and baby Naruto were laying.
He began" Kushina honey to save the village I need Naruto to serve as a container for the Kyuubi.".
Kushina protested weakly saying she can still serve as it's container. " Minato I can still contain the nine tail fox don't burden Naruto with this please Minato.".
"I'm sorry honey, for the future of the village I must do this. "Said Minato with a determined look.
Using the flying thunder god technique Minato brought his wife and child to the place where the Nine tail fox was with Dan Senjumaki.
Restore P.o.v
Dan sensed the brief space flactuations as Minato appeared with his wife and child. As if something was calling out to him. Dan observed the woman and sensed something familiar from her. It was a strong potent chakra similar in characteristics as his own. He also saw the condition of the woman's life force that was rapidly depleting. He knew that if he didn't do anything this woman would die within the hour.
As if compelled by a force unseen he said "Woman you are not long for this world, I am Dan Senjumaki and I believe you are one of my descendants I can share my own life force to halt your depture from this world." Minato and Kushina heard my words and Kushina sensed my potent life force with her minds eye technique.
Minato was the first to speak "Can you save Kushina?, can you really save her?". The questions filled with pleading.
Kushina heard this and my words hope blossomed in her soul and really wanted to see her Naruto grow up and become an awesome person in the future. Her voice unconsciously uttered" Please let me see my son grow up. I want to see him becoming the best version of us.".
I approached her and touched her below the neval and above her crotch channeling a luminous white light energy. I kept at it for fifteen seconds. This did not return her life force but stopped the leakage and unatural depletion of it. I estimated that she had about ten percent of life force remaining in her and In years she could probably live for five to six years provided she doesn't burden herself as Ninja anymore.
Minato noticed the return of the colour of his wife skin. Her cheeks recovered from pale to healthy rosy the instant Dan channeled his life force. As he looked at the boy he noticed that he had an anguished look in his face after stopping channeling the life force. Dan muttered "I wish I was in my original strength this would have been much easier using natural energy."
Minato was shocked that Dan was a sage since he was talking about natural energy. He heard Dan speaking to Kushina" Your life force has stopped depleting and you are not in immediate danger of losing your life. A pity I couldn't restore your life force fully with your remaining life force you can live for half a decade or slightly more provided you no longer use your chakra.". Kushina nodded in understanding.
She asked" Can I still seal the Nine tail fox in my soul?".
" You can not the chakra of the chakra fruit god tree fragment will corroded your remaining life force quicker than before. I believe the solution is to split the chakra of the chakra fruit god tree fragment into its components of Yin and Yang and seal them to new hosts. I can volunteer for the Yin component the Yang can be sealed in your child". I said.
"How do we split the chakra of the nine tails?". Asked Kushina.
I looked at Minato to come up with the answer. And as if on queue he gave one.
"We can use the reaper death seal to summon the entity to split the chakra then use the eight trigram to seal the Nine tail fox.".
" That is a solution but a reckless one, how about this I suggest you use everything you have wisely first I can sense that you are loved by natural energy can you use the immortal technique?". He nodded and said that it takes a while to enter the state of immortality. To give him time I suggested that they erect a barrier as I sensed a molevelent intent six kilometres away. Kushina erected one but I noticed that her life force would not hold out for long. To speed up the natural energy gathering I also suggested that instead of gathering the natural energy he can balance it with his physical and spiritual energies and I will do the gathering of natural energy.
The process went smoothly and Minato entered sage mode in a quarter the time it usually takes him. The bonus was that his reserves of chakra doubled due to my machinations. I then suggested Minato to share some of his chakra with Kushina to offset the burden and In preparation of what comes next.
Minato shared half of his chakra reserves. I then suggested to Minato to cast an illusion with his sage chakra on the barrier so that the outside forces can not see what comes next.
He cast the bringer of darkness illusion.As soon as he did I said" Now Minato is the time to seal the Nine tail fox, you and Kushina should make two pairs of yourselves with half your reserves these doppelgangers will be sealed along with the nine tails so that in future you can be of use to both me and your son.".
The sealing proceeded smoothly Minato summoned the death god and implored it to use it's blade to cleft in twain the nine tails and seal the components to me and his son.
The seal burned to my flesh as a searing pain overhelmed my senses Feeling this much pain I could not imagine how the infant was managing at this time.
I saw the reaper exact his due taking away Minato's soul. Kushina dropped the barrier as her chakra was exhausted. Everything become still for a moment as if time stood still. The shinobis who were outside the barrier started to move in slow motion towards us.
My senses become confused as my senses up and down got mix and vision blurred only my hearing remained. I knew without proof that I had fallen no we had fallen as Minato's words resounded "This is my son Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, my legacy. Let everyone know the name of their hero who saved the village and protected it's people".
The voice went silent and I knew that Minato had departed the world of the living.
The village lost its shadow, Kushina her husband and Naruto his father and I gained everything from this sacrifice a village,a goal to strive for and power to fulfil my intended goals .
