NOVEL NEXT Chapter 1: The Nexus
I am the Nexus.
So reality decided to send me to a world where people can control all their physical and mental energy. I am going to really have fun in this world. Before I continue let me introduce myself. My name is Dan Livingston and I come from a reality more advanced than many realities. I am fully human by the way just very advanced be it technologically or genetically. My version of humanity has been on a quest to find the source of all existence since we were able to conquer our world, solar system, galaxy,universe and even the multiverse. This journey lead us to what we called the prime universe or universe zero. There we found a being hidden inside the black hole that keeps the universe together. This being was connected to all other universes in the multiverse. We termed the being Nexus. The being is the sum of all conscious thought in existence. A being without it's own conscious thought but influencing the whole multiverse.
As a civilization we sort to have the same power the Nexus possessed. To view and control all reality. We ultimately failed due to the accident that befell me.
As I have introduced myself my name is Dan Livingston the one who spearheaded this research into the Nexus. My story starts or maybe ends with me falling straight into the black hole and meeting the Nexus face to face, I was the first person to answer the question what lies behind the black hole. Fortunately or unfortunately I did not come back to tell about it.
It was an ordinary day having had wormhole technology for thousands of years I expected everything to go according to routine but lo and behold it was not so.
As the ship entered the black hole I had a critical system failure that controlled the gravitational field opposing the gravitational Eddie's of the black hole.
I remember the last bits of conversations on that day it happened. "Amanda, please do a system diagnostic to ensure optimal operational efficiency.". I remember giving this order to my personal Ai. Everything came up as optimal. As we transverse the black hole's event horizon. As the vessel managed to make it past the black hole's event horizon the gravitational Eddie's overwhelmed our compensators.
The world within the vessel changed to that of vibrational strings. So many colours some frequencies unimaginable by human sensors.
I even thought for a second I saw the colour of my soul. All the strings began to flow to a distance point that I could perceive not by sight but vibrational frequency converging as if all things returning to the source.
The reports that Amanda was making made little sense to me it was as if I a three dimensional being was looking at a four dimensional being. I could not see where the point began or ended it felt and looked all incompassing.
The closer we got to the being Amanda the Ai gave a report that chilled my blood when she said "Detecting containment breach. Imminent detonation. Initiating protocol Absoloam."
This protocol was to send back every scrap of data about the mission. I was not confident if those on the other side would get anything useful.
Facing the last moments of conscious thought I remember saying " It was an honour been with you Amanda. I have no regrets if possible may we be together again beyond oblivion until then to the next horizon.". "To next horizon". She replied.
An all incompassing light filled my last moments of consciousness warm and comforting. There beyond space and time a figure of a humanoid form made of light stood before me.
I did not speak as the being spoke first " Child of unity what do you seek?". The voice was deep resonant like rushing water of a waterfall.
I answered" I seek knowledge, understanding of all things.".
It replied" I see. What you seek is me a being beyond all knowledge and understanding. Therefore I have imbued you with a portion of my essence you will go to a universe beyond your comprehension but humanity has dreamt about. Look now, I give you Amanda as a companion in this journey. All your abilities and powers you will keep in this universe. I also give you the Eclipse universe abilities. Now go.".
The being opened a portal that took me away from all things advanced.

A portal suddenly appeared above the sky and something flew out and stuck the kyuubi in the head cratering the kyuubi knocking it out.
While I was watching the unconscious kyuubi a form of a child started to stir beside the kyuubi.
