Primordial Sin System

Chapter 587-The Serious Battle Begins

The forest was alive with the sound of clashing metal and crashing trees.

Dave stood in the middle of it all, his expression serious for the first time.

His golden skin glowed faintly as he cracked his knuckles.

Across the battlefield, the dwarf, now five meters tall, leaned on his molten hammer, watching the fight.

The ground near him glowed with strange energy as more puppets emerged, each carrying weapons that shimmered with a dangerous light.

"These aren't ordinary toys, boy!" the dwarf yelled, his voice echoing.

"Every puppet has Semi-God artifacts crafted by the best! You may be strong, but you can't fight forever!"

Dave smirked, his eyes darting to the puppets surrounding him.

"Endless, huh? Let's see who runs out of tricks first."

One puppet charged, swinging a glowing sword straight at Dave's chest.

He didn't move. The sword slammed into him but shattered on impact, the pieces falling harmlessly to the ground.

"Not bad," Dave said, his grin widening. "But not good enough."

Before the puppet could react, his fist smashed into its chest, crushing it instantly.

But no sooner had it crumbled than two more puppets replaced it.

One swung an axe while the other thrust a spear at him.

Dave grabbed the axe mid-swing and crushed it with his bare hand.

Just as he destroyed the weapon, the puppet exploded in a burst of energy, forcing him to leap back.

"Exploding puppets now?" Dave muttered, brushing dirt off his shoulder.

"That's just annoying."

The dwarf laughed loudly.

"Annoying is the point, boy! My creations don't just hit hard—they'll wear you down bit by bit!"

Dave's sharp gaze flicked to the growing number of puppets. Each carried weapons that glowed with immense power.

Though the attacks couldn't pierce his golden skin, their sheer force made him take notice.

Another puppet lunged, its spear aimed at his side.

Dave grabbed the weapon, snapping it in two before punching the puppet's head clean off. "

These things don't stop, huh?" he muttered, dodging another strike.

The attacks became more coordinated, the puppets moving as if they shared a single mind.

Dave weaved through the attacks, crushing their weapons and tearing through their metal bodies. Still, the endless assault slowed his progress.

"Alright," Dave said, narrowing his eyes. "Time to stop playing."

He dashed toward the dwarf, his speed leaving a golden blur behind him.

But just as he got close, a massive puppet stepped forward.

It was twice the size of the others, its thick armor glowing with runes, and it carried a giant hammer that buzzed with destructive energy.

Dave grinned. "Now this looks interesting."

The massive puppet swung its hammer down, aiming to crush him.

Dave raised his arm to block the strike. The impact cracked the ground beneath him, but he didn't flinch.

"Is that all?"

Dave taunted, grabbing the hammer's handle and snapping it like a twig.

He followed up with a powerful punch, smashing through the puppet's chest and tearing out its glowing core.

Bam!

The giant fell with a heavy crash, its body crumpling into useless metal.

The dwarf's smug grin vanished as he watched his strongest puppet collapse. "Impossible… That puppet was my masterpiece!"

"Guess your masterpiece wasn't that great," Dave said, his tone mocking.

The dwarf's face twisted with anger. With a wave of his hand, the forest floor glowed brighter.

Dozens of new puppets rose from the ground, their weapons gleaming even brighter than before.

Their movements were sharper, faster, and more dangerous.

Dave sighed, rolling his shoulders. "Really? More of these tin cans?"

The puppets attacked all at once, their glowing weapons creating a storm of strikes.

Dave dodged and countered, his movements swift and precise.

His punches shattered metal bodies, but no matter how many he destroyed, more seemed to take their place.

"These weapons…" Dave muttered, breaking another spear.

"They're tougher than I expected."

Another puppet's axe glanced off his shoulder, shattering on impact.

"They still can't hurt me, but breaking them isn't as easy as I thought."

The dwarf's grin returned. "You're strong, boy, but even you have limits. My creations will outlast you, and when you're tired, I'll finish you myself!"

Dave ignored the taunt, focusing on the fight.

He moved through the horde, punching and kicking with precision.

Each blow sent metal fragments flying, but the endless attacks kept him from advancing.

"Fine," Dave muttered, his tone growing annoyed. "If you want me to get serious, I will."

His fists clenched, and a golden aura flared around him.

The ground trembled as his power surged, the air growing heavy.

The dwarf's eyes narrowed. "What's this? Finally showing me what you've got?"

Dave didn't reply. His body blurred as he moved, a shockwave rippling through the battlefield as he punched a puppet so hard it disintegrated.

He moved faster than before, crushing the puppets with ease.

But then, the remaining puppets began to merge.

Metal twisted and fused, forming a single colossal golem.

It towered over everything, its massive body glowing with countless runes. In its hands was a blade larger than any Dave had seen, its energy radiating pure destruction.

Dave looked up at the golem, his grin returning. "Now this is what I'm talking about."

The golem swung its massive blade, the force of the attack creating a shockwave that flattened trees and sent rocks flying. Dave jumped back, dodging the strike.

"Big doesn't mean better," he said, leaping onto the golem's arm and sprinting up toward its head.

The golem tried to shake him off, but Dave jumped higher, landing on its shoulder.

He aimed a powerful punch at the golem's core, but its armor was thicker than anything he'd faced. His fist left only a small dent.

"Huh," Dave muttered, shaking his hand. "This one's tougher."

The golem roared, its massive body shaking as it swung its arm to throw him off. Dave leapt back to the ground, landing lightly.

"Alright," he said, his golden aura flaring even brighter. "Time to end this."
