Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

(It's another beautiful day as Mew, her friends, and their Pokemon continue their trip to Azalea Town, and their next stop on the road to the Johto League.)

(Soon, Mew spots something.)

Mew: "Hey! Look at the Bellsprout!"

(Then Misty spots.)

Misty: "And there are some Vileplume, too. We have to be careful not to breathe in their Stun Spore. Don't we, Togepi? Pichu?"

(Togepi and Pichu happily agree.)

(Then Tomo spots.)

Tomo: "Wow! There's a couple of Gloom over there!"

Brock: "Sure are a lot of grass type Pokemon living around here, aren't there?"

(Brock says.)

(Then Jen spots.)

Jen: "Aww, look at that cute Pokemon."

(The group looks ahead to see small pink Pokemon with black eyes, small arms and feet, and on its head it has two long leaves.)

(And it's practically hopping towards them.)

Misty: "Cutie!"

(Misty happily says.)

Brock: "It's a Hoppip!"

(Brock says.)

Tomo: "And I can see why it's called that."

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "Let's see what Dexter has to say."

(Mew says, bringing out her Pokedex.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Hoppip, the Cottonweed Pokémon. A Grass and Flying Type. This hopping Pokémon is light as a feather and can be lifted by the gentlest breeze."

(Right on cue, Hoppip is lifted off the ground by a breeze.)

Misty: "We can't let it blow away."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Let's follow it."

(Mew says.)

(And the group begins pursuing the Hoppip who looks like it's happily dancing in the air.)

(Tomo calls out.)

Tomo: "Wait up!"

Misty: "We're with you, Hoppip!"

(Misty calls out.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Don't worry!"

Brock: "We'll catch ya!"

(Brock says.)

(Suddenly, a pretty young girl appears in the foreground.)

(She has dark teal hair, wearing a light yellow shirt with a pink scarf, lightish red pink pants, and light yellow shoes.)

Jen: "Who's that girl?"

(Jen wonders.)

(The young lady swings her net and finally catches the Hoppip.)

???: "One down, and one to go."

(The girl says.)

(Then a second Hoppip lands on the girl's head.)

(The girls catches the Hoppip.)

???: "Well, it's a good thing I didn't lose my head while I was chasing you, or you wouldn't have had a place to land."

Mew: "Excuse me..."

(Mew says.)

(The girl jumps and turns to see the girl.)

???: "Oh, hi. You surprised me."

Mew: "Sorry. We were..."

(Mew says.)

(But Brock interferes.)

Brock: "Pardon me, miss. My name is Brock! You demonstrated such dexterity that I couldn't help wondering about the identity of such an agile angel!"

Mariah: "Ahhhh, my name is Mariah."

(The girl says, as she stands on her feet.)

(Brock continues.)

Brock: "Oh, Mariah! I have a confession to make, you've captured my heart just like you captured that little Hoppip!"

Misty: "Return! Brock!"

(Misty says as she grabs Brock's ear and drags him away.)

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "Like I was saying, my name's Mew. Are those wild Hoppip or do they belong to you?"

Mariah: "They're mine."

(Mariah answers.)

(Soon, Mew and the others are escorted to Mariah's house.)

(There is also a large net around a large area of the house.)

(As it turns out, Mariah has seven Hoppip.)

(Misty counts.)

Misty: "Four, five, six, seven! Wow!"

Mariah: "Sometimes it seems more like seventeen."

(Mariah says.)

(She then kneels down to give the Hoppip food.)

Mariah: "Now, there's plenty for everybody."

(The Hoppip happily eats.)

Mew: "You sure have a lot of instruments, up there, Mariah. You must do something here besides training Hoppip."

(Mew says.)

(Mariah grins and giggles.)

Mariah: "Wanna see?"

(Everyone steps into Mariah's house and finds all kinds of stuff like a computer, map and other equipment.)

(Mariah explains.)

Mariah: "All of those instruments on the roof help me do my job. I'm a weather forecaster and the equipment you saw gives me data on weather conditions so I can make accurate predictions."

Tomo: "Cool."

(Tomo replies.)

Misty: "How do you manage to train all those Hoppip and still have time to make weather forecasts?"

(Misty asks.)

Mariah: "The reason I train Hoppip is so they can help me predict the weather!"

(Mariah says.)

Mew: "How can Hoppip help predict the weather?"

(Mew asks.)

(Everyone heads outside again and watches the Hoppip doing just that.)

Mariah: "Now watch closely, the wind's going to pick up any second."

(Mariah says.)

Jen: "How do you know?"

(Jen asks.)

Misty: "Did your instruments help you predict that?"

(Misty asks.)

Mariah: "I know because Hoppips always cluster together like that just before a wind."

(Mariah says.)

(Soon, a breeze picks up, and two Hoppip are carried away by the wind.)

Misty: "You're right, Mariah! There's the breeze!"

(Misty says, amazed.)

(The two Hoppip gently touch the net and land in a pile of hay.)

Mariah: "That breeze would only rate a two on the Hoppip Scale."

(Mariah says.)

Tomo: "What's that mean?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mariah: "It was only strong enough to pick up two Hoppip. So it rated a two on the Hoppip Scale!"

(Mariah says.)

Misty and Mew: "Oh."

(Misty and Mew reply.)

(Then Mariah says.)

Mariah: "Recently I've been watching the Hoppip more closely and recording all of their behavior patterns. I believe they may be able to help meteorologists make long range weather predictions."

Brock: "I see, Mariah! It's kind of like some farmers and fishermen who can tell if there's a storm coming by looking at the shape of the clouds or the color of the sky!"

(Brock says)

Mariah: "That's right!"

(Mariah says.)

Mariah: "I just love exploring the relationship between my Hoppip and the weather!"

Brock: "Sounds great, but I think I have an even better idea."

(Brock says.)

(And says to Mariah.)

Brock: "Why don't you forget about the Hoppip AND the weather so you can start exploring the relationship between YOU AND ME!"

(Misty then clutches Brock's ear again and pulls him away.)

Misty: "Talk about windy."

(Pichu and Togepi laugh.)

(Then Mariah laughs.)

Mariah: "Mmm, I'll admit it is a challenge to train my Hoppip and keep my weather research going, but being around them makes me so happy that it doesn't seem like work, though it's not easy when I have to chase Hoppip that a wind's blown miles and miles away."

Mew: "Sounds like the Hoppip keep you hopping!"

(Mew says.)

Mariah: "You could put it that way."

(Mariah says.)

(Soon, all the Hoppip start to cluster together.)

Brock: "The Hoppip are all bunched together again."

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Must be another breeze on the way."

(Misty says.)

(All but one of the Hoppip is blown away, and the group notices.)

Jen: "Hey, look there!"

(Jen says.)

(The 'Hoppip' follows the rest and climbs on the rock.)

(It tries to fly, but falls instead.)

Tomo: "Hey, what's the matter with this one?"

(Tomo asks.)

(Mariah nervously says.)

Mariah: "That one's a little bit different."

Brock: "It didn't fly away like the others."

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Let me clean you up a little bit, honey."

(Misty says, and wipes its face off, thinking it's a bruise.)

(However, upon cleaning it, they see that it's not a Hoppip at all, and the blue is its natural color.)

Brock: "That's not a Hoppip! It's an Oddish!"

(Brock says, surprised.)

(Mariah explains.)

Mariah: "I know it seems strange. It's a Pokemon from the neighborhood but the poor little thing spends so much time playing with my Hoppip that it's decided that IT wants to be a Hoppip too!"

(Determined, the little Oddish climbs up the tough metal of the Hoppip's enclosure.)

(Mariah continues to explain.)

Mariah: "I've tried to tell it that it's an Oddish and it can't fly, but it's determined to fly like the Hoppip."

(Once climbing to a high spot, the Oddish leaps into the air to fly, but plummets to the soft draw below.)

(Once on the ground, Oddish breaks into tears.)

(Just then, a green colored Hoppip walks over to Oddish and tries to reassure it.)

Mariah: "Luckily, this Wild Hoppip who is friends with Oddish always does his best to cheer Oddish up."

(Mariah adds.)

Jen: "Poor Oddish."

(Jen says, as she picks up the sad Pokemon to comfort it.)

(Then Jen sadly says.)

Jen: "I wish we could do something to help you."

(Shiny Hoppip nods in reply.)

Misty: "But I'm not exactly sure what we can do."

(Misty wonders.)

Mew: "I have to agree. Oddish can't fly."

(Mew says.)

(Then Brock has an idea and tries to encourage it.)

Brock: "YOU CAN DO IT, ODDISH, IF YOU JUST START FLAPPING YOUR LEAVES!"

(But Misty angrily scolds him.)

Misty: "BROCK! WHY DON'T YOU STOP FLAPPING YOUR GUMS?!"

Brock: "I'll be quiet."

(Brock says, sheepishly.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket is nearby, secretly spying on the group.)

Meowth: "Look at dem twerps. Twerpy as evah!"

(Meowth says with a chuckle.)

(Then turns to see the Hoppip.)

Meowth: "And look at all dem Hoppip! If we could swipe 'em maybe we could go into some kinda business for ourselves!"

Jessie: "The only kind of business we'd be successful at would be a going out of business store!"

(Jessie says.)

Meowth: "Dose Hoppip could have us rolling in dough, Jessie."

(Meowth says.)

(Then James asks.)

James: "You want us to open a bakery?"

Meowth: "No, Dis is a million dollar idea, are you ready?"

(Meowth says.)

Meowth: "I wanna start a Hoppip delivery service!"

Jessie and James: "A Hoppip delivery service?"

(Jessie and James say, confused.)

(Meowth continues.)

Meowth: "All we gotta do is launch the Hoppip into da sky, we don't gotta pay for no airplanes, no trucks, no delivery person uniforms! If we keep dem Hoppip overhead, we won't have any overhead! Every kid loves Pokemon so dey'll have dere parents lining up to use the cute little Hoppip like carrier pigeons, but da prices won't be chicken feed!"

(He sighs.)

Meowth: "We could have a fly by night operation!"

(However, James sees a flaw in Meowth's plan.)

James: "Sorry to take the wind out of your sails. But what happens when the winds die down and drop the Hoppip TEN MILES FROM THEIR DESTINATION?!"

(Meowth realizes that James is right.)

Meowth: "OH YEAH!"

(And Jessie says.)

Jessie: "And what would the boss do to us if he found out we were hoarding Pokémon for ourselves instead of giving them to him?!"

James: "We'd be off the team!"

(James says.)

(Meowth sighs as he knows they have a point.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Your business plan won't fly, but maybe there's a way to deliver those Hoppip to the boss somehow." Then says with determination, "Let's seize this opportunity before it's gone with the wind!"

Team Rocket: "YO!"

(Team Rocket cheer.)

(Back to Mew and the others.)

(Jen reassures Hoppip.)

Jen: "I think you're a great Pokémon, even if you don't know how to fly."

(Shiny Hoppip happily nods, confirming Jen's statement.)

(Suddenly, the Hoppip enclosure is cut apart and falls apart, surprising everyone.)

(Then Jessie and James appear.)

Jessie and James: "May we have your attention please?! We're not here to shoot the breeze!"

(As Mew and the others see Jessie and James wear a kind of jacket and masks, and fanning big fans.)

Misty: "That looks like..."

(Misty says.)

Jessie: "They'll never guess who's behind the mask!"

(Jessie says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "That would be an impossible task."

(Mariah then steps forward and demands.)

Mariah: "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US?"

(And with that, Team Rocket performs the motto.)

Jessie: Prepare for trouble and a big surprise!

James: Make it double, we're in disguise!

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!

James: To unite all peoples within our nation!

Jessie: denounce the evils of truth and love!

James: To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie (removes her disguise): Jessie!

James (removes her disguise): James!

(Then the two begin fanning.)

Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight!

Meowth: Dat's right, fans!

Mew: "TEAM ROCKET!"

(Mew shouts.)

(Then Misty demands.)

Misty: "What do you losers want now!?"

(Team Rocket stops fanning.)

Meowth: "We want dose Hoppip so we can start out own business and go legit!"

(Meowth says.)

(Jessie and James shout.)

Jessie: "WE NEVER DO ANYTHING HONEST!"

(Meowth lamely says.)

Meowth: "We could still cheat on our taxes, couldn't we...?"

Jessie: "Stop whining and start fanning!"

(Jessie says.)

(Team Rocket starts fanning with all their strength, but the Hoppip aren't getting blown away as Mariah gets in front to protect them.)

Mariah: "It'll take more than you windbags to move these Hoppip!"

(Mariah says.)

(Meowth then says.)

Meowth: "Alright, sistah! Get set ta meet our biggest fan!"

(Jessie and James are impressed to see that Meowth has bring forward a giant electric fan.)

Meowth: "YOU'RE ON THE AIR!"

(Meowth says.)

(And with a push of the button, the fan turns on.)

(Soon, two of the Hoppip are blown away, but Mariah acts fast and catches them.)

Meowth: "It's working! Just look at them fly!"

(Meowth says.)

(Mree more Hopipp go flying, but Misty and Brock each catch one, and Oddish catch the last one and land in Jen's arms.)

Mew: "They're not gonna blow us away!"

(Mew says, and calls out.)

Mew: "Go, Chikorita!"

(Then Chikorita comes out of the Pokeball.)

Jessie: "Arbok, I choose you!"

(Jessie says, and calls out her Pokemon.)

(Arbok comes out and charges at Chikorita, but she quickly retaliates.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Chikorita, use your Razor Leaf!"

(Chikorita uses Razor Leaf and nails Arbok on the head multiple times, and sends it crashing on Jessie and James.)

Meowth: "Now let's turn it up to hurricane speed!"

(Meowth says as the fan goes faster.)

(Mariah and the others hold the Hoppip as hard as they can against the strong wind.)

Mew: "Pikachu, it's all up to you! Use Thunder Shock on the fan!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Pikachu jumps up over the air and uses the attack on the fan, destroying it and sends Team Rocket blasting off.)

Meowth: "I think that short circuit's gonna send us on a long trip."

(Meowth says.)

(Then Team Rocket shouts.)

Team Rocket: "We're blasting off again!"

(Soon, Team Rocket is gone.)

(Mew kneels to Pikachu.)

Mew: "You did great, Pikachu!"

(Then Chikorita butts in.)

(Mew laughs.)

Mew: "You did just as great as Chikorita!"

Misty: "Once you get to know Team Rocket, they're really not too scary."

(Misty says.)

(Mariah asks her Pokemon.)

Mariah: "You all okay?"

(The Pokemon confirms.)

(Jen turns to Oddish.)

Jen: "I noticed that Oddish was particularly brave."

(Oddish happily hops up and down.)

(Suddenly, all of them, including Oddish, clutter together, even Shiny Hoppip and Oddish.)

Brock: "They're all bunching together again!"

(Brock says.)

(However, Mariah grows concerned.)

Mariah: "Oh, no! A huge wind storm's on its way!"

Misty: "How can you tell, Mariah?"

(Misty asks.)

Brock: "And how do you know it's big?"

(Brock asks.)

Mariah: "See?"

(Mariah says and points to the Hoppip's leaves.)

Mariah: "Hoppip only put their leaves together like that before extremely strong winds. It's very rare."

(Later, everyone is inside Mariah's house as the sky darkens and the wind is picking up.)

(Mariah looks at her computer and equipment and confirms.)

Mariah: "All my instruments confirm exactly what my Hoppip have already told me! THERE'S A TORNADO HEADING THIS WAY!"

(Everyone is in complete shock at the news.)

(Far out in the woods, Team Rocket is wandering around and recovering from being blasted off.)

(Team Rocket is also mopping as doing so.)

(James says.)

James: "Maybe it's the motto...maybe if we changed that blasting off part, we wouldn't blast off so much."

Meowth: "Yeah."

(Meowth says.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "You know, just once, I'd like to make a dramatic exit that didn't involve a life threatening explosion."

(Suddenly, they hear something.)

James: "Hey, what's that sound?"

(James asks.)

(They turn around and spot what's making the nose as Meowth points out.)

Meowth: "A tornado."

(Indeed, it is a tornado.)

(Team Rocket panics as it approaches them.)

(They try running, but get caught in the tornado.)

(And soon, they all scream.)

Meowth: "Team Rocket's..."

Jessie: "Blasting..."

James: "Off..."

Team Rocket: "Again!"

(Back at Mariah's house, everyone barricades the doors and windows for the oncoming tornado.)

(Looking at her computer, Mariah says.)

Mariah: "I've never seen a twister this big! It won't be long before it hits us full force! We all better take cover under the desk right away!"

(Soon, everyone takes cover under the desk.)

(However, the wind begins to pick up as the tornado comes close.)

(The Pokemon become uneasy as they remain close to the humans at all cost.)

(And soon enough, the tornado's wind ripped the roof off of her house.)

(And then, the Hoppip is being blown away.)

(Mariah cries out.)

Mariah: "Oh no! My Hoppip!"

(Mariah nearly gets picked up by the wind.)

(But Brock saves her.)

Brock: "I gotcha Mariah!"

(Soon, Oddish and Shiny Hoppip are being lifted by the wind.)

Jen: "Oddish! Hoppip!"

(Jen cries out and grabs them both, but soon, Jen is being carried by the wind.)

(Soon, the wind carries Oddish, Shiny Hoppip, and Jen and is sucked into the tornado.)

(Misty, Tomo, and Mew cry out.)

Misty, Tomo, and Mew: "JEN!"

Snubbull, Amaura: "Snubbull, Amaura" (JEN!)

(Snubbull and Amaura cry out.)

(In seconds, just as quickly as it comes, the tornado leaves the area.)

(Later, after the storm has come to an end.)

(Mew and the others begin to survey the damage around the.)

Brock: "We're a lot luckier than your house was, Mariah."

(Brock says.)

Tomo: "Yeah."

(Tomo says.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "We're lucky, but I wonder if Jen, Oddish, and the Hoppip are."

Mew: "Well, the only way to find out is if we find them and make sure they are, Misty."

(Mew says.)

(Then turns to Mariah.)

Mew: "Is that okay with you, Mariah?"

Mariah: "Sure. Thanks for volunteering."

(Mariah says.)

(Soon, they find the roof of Mariah's house.)

(Tomo calls out.)

Tomo: "Hey, guys! Look! There's the roof!"

Mariah: "At least it didn't land on anybody."

(Mariah says.)

(Suddenly, they hear a cry.)

Oddish: "Oddish."

(Everyone looks around and Pikachu and Eevee point out to see Oddish, upside down and dizzy.)

(Next to Oddish is Jen and Shiny Hoppip who are lying on the ground and dizzy as well.)

Mariah: "There you are!"

(Mariah says.)

Mew: "Jen, you're safe."

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Got a little turned round in that twister."

(Brock says.)

(Misty picks up Jen and asks.)

Misty: "Are you okay, Jen?"

Jen: "Just dizzy..."

(Jen answers, and regains herself.)

(Amaura and Snubbull are glad to see Jen is alright.)

(Soon, Oddish begins talking.)

Misty: "Oddish is worried about something."

(Misty says.)

(Mariah says.)

Mariah: "Yes, it wants to start looking for its Hoppip friends right away. Oddish is always very caring and concerned about the Hoppip. About a month ago, we had a giant thunderstorm and one of them got caught in it and I couldn't find it anywhere. But Oddish found it and brought it right home to me."

(Determine, Oddish begins to sense something as the others follow.)

Mariah: "The wind's blowing in this direction, so you think we should go this way?"

(Mariah replies.)

(Oddish nods her head to confirm.)

Misty: "That Oddish sure has a lot of spirit."

(Misty says.)

(Soon, everyone follows Oddish in the forest.)

Mariah: "It's not unusual for the Hoppip to get stuck up in the trees."

(Mariah says.)

(Oddish looks around, and soon looks up to spot one of the Hoppip stuck in a tree.)

Mew: "Look! There's one of the Hoppip!"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Now our only problem is getting it down."

(Misty says.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "You just leave this to me! I'll have that Hoppip in no time!"

(and begins climbing up the tree.)

Misty: "Be careful up there!"

(Misty says.)

(Soon enough, Brock comes down with the Hoppip in hand.)

Brock: "There. Sorry it took so long."

Mariah: "Brock, you're the best."

(Mariah says, pleased.)

Brock: "Well, I don't know about that, but you could be right."

(Brock says.)

(Jen kneels to Oddish and says.)

Jen: "Good job, Oddish."

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "Now we only have six more to find."

(The group continues the search and come across a river.)

(Oddish points into the river to see one of the Hoppip hanging onto a branch for its life.)

Mariah: "There's another one! It's stranded!"

(Mariah says, shocked.)

(Misty says.)

Misty: "If we don't save it fast, it'll get washed away!"

(Oddish tries to jump in, but Mew catches her and says.)

Mew: "Not so fast, Oddish! We don't want you to get washed away, too."

Brock: "I'll get it!"

(Brock says, and jumps into the river.)

Mew: "Be careful Brock. The rapids seem rough!"

(Mew says.)

(Brock manages to free the Hoppip and brings it out to safety.)

(Brock says.)

Brock: "Easy now. I gotcha. Don't worry, you're safe with me."

Tomo: "Now we have two!"

(Tomo says.)

(Hoppip quickly dries off.)

Misty: "Water's not gonna drown this little Hoppip's spirits."

(Misty say)

(Mariah happily says.)

Mariah: "Well, that's a relief."

(Later, Oddish starts looking around for something.)

Misty: "Oddish seems like it's looking for something."

(Misty says.)

(Oddish soon starts hopping up and down.)

Mew: "It sure is all hopped up."

(Mew says.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "Oddish may not be able to fly like your Hoppip do, but it's just as good a hopper as they are."

Mariah: "That's true."

(Mariah replies.)

Tomo: "Hopping isn't gonna help us find the other five Hoppip, though."

(Tomo says.)

(Jen looks around.)

Jen: "I wonder where they could be?

(Soon, Oddish and Shiny Hoppip spot something in the sky.)

(Everyone looks to see another one of Mariah's Hoppip flying overhead.)

Brock: "Hey! There's one!"

(Brock says.)

(Oddish and Shiny Hoppip quickly follow.)

Mew: "Let's follow it!"

(Mew says.)

(Then everyone else follows Oddish and Shiny Hoppip.)

(Meanwhile, up in the sky, Team Rocket's balloon drifts along.)

(Not only Team Rocket are in the basket, so are the four of the five remaining Hoppip.)

(James chuckles.)

James: "That tornado had a silver lining. Who could've guessed it could blow those adorable, little Hoppip right into our beautiful balloon?

Jessie: "You might say we've had an unexpected windfall."

(Jessie says and laughs.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "I say we start small and only use em for overnight delivery!"

(But James says.)

James: "Oh, give it up, Meowth."

Jessie: "I've got a more artistic suggestion."

(Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Give each Hoppip a little, tiny pinwheel. What do you two think of that adorable idea?"

(and fantasizes about them having pinwheels and they float in the air?)

(However, James and Meowth disagree.)

James and Meowth: "Hate it."

(Soon, Jessie spots another Hoppip.)

Jessie: "Another Hoppip! And it's headed this way!"

James: "Let's get the net!"

(James says.)

(Soon, Team Rocket catches the floating Hoppip)

Meowth: "Great! We got one more!"

(Meowth says.)

(Soon, Mew and the others arrive.)

(Everyone shouted.)

Everyone: "Team Rocket!"

Mariah: "That's mine! Give it back to me!"

(Mariah demands.)

(Team Rocket spots the group, but smiles slyly.)

(Meowth is the first to say.)

Meowth: "They're ours, now!"

James: "The Hoppip no longer belong to you!"

(James says.)

(They then stick their tongues out and begin to tease them.)

Mew: "Oh, yeah?"

(Mew angrily says.)

Misty: "We'll see about that!"

(Misty says.)

(She then calls out.)

Misty: "Staryu, I choose you!"

(and throws her Pokeball.)

(And Staryu comes out of the Pokeball.)

(Misty says to Staryu.)

Misty: "Staryu, Tackle attack that balloon!"

(Staryu flies over and one of its points hits the balloon, puncturing it, and sending it crashing into the woods.)

Mew: "Come on!"

(Mew says.)

(Everyone heads towards the woods where Team Rocket crashes.)

(In the forest, the three are recovering, and their faces on the ground.)

Jessie: "That Staryu, certainly does have a point."

(Jessie says.)

(Suddenly, Mew's voice appears.)

Mew: "Let's have em!"

(They lift their heads to see Mew and the gang.)

Misty: "Give us back those Hoppip!"

(Misty demands.)

Meowth: "Not without a fight, twerps!"

(Meowth says.)

(Then James throws his Pokeball and calls out.)

James: "Go, Victreebel!"

(Victreebel comes out, and tries to swallow James again.)

(James cries out.)

James: "Don't go after me!

Mew: "I know who I'm gonna choose."

(Mew says, and calls out.)

Mew: "Go, Heracross!"

(Heracorss comes out of the Pokeball.)

(Then Jessie throws her Pokeball.)

Jessie: "Let's get em, Arbok!"

(Arbok comes out of the Pokeball.)

Misty: "Get in there, too, Staryu!"

(Misty calls out.)

(Staryu leaps into battle.)

(However, Oddish and Shiny Hoppip get in front of Staryu and Heracorss, catching them both by surprise.)

Mariah: "What are you both doing?"

(Mariah asks.)

Jen: "I think Oddish and Hoppip want to battle!"

(Jen says.)

(Oddish and Shiny Hoppip nod their heads to confirm it.)

(However, Jessie and James begin laughing at it.)

James: "My Victreebel is finally going to have a victory!"

(James says.)

(Then calls out.)

James: "Go, Victreebel! Tackle attack, now!"

(Victreebel tackles the attack, but Oddish retaliates with her own Tackle Attack with a strong kick.)

Misty: "Oddish has a super strong kick!"

(Misty says, amazed.)

Jen: "It must be from all that hopping!"

(Jen says.)

(Soon, Oddish begins to perform Stun Spore at Victreebel.)

Brock: "Oddish is using Stun Spore!"

(Brock says.)

(Victreebel quickly becomes paralyzed, allowing Oddish to knock it out with another kick.)

Tomo: "And Oddish is the winner!"

(Tomo cheers.)

(However, Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Not yet. Arbok, try a Bite attack!"

(Arbok then charges to bite on Shiny Hoppip, but Shiny Hoppip quickly jumps and spins the leaves so it can fly.)

(As well as Oddish leap super high.)

Jen: "Wow! It's almost like it CAN fly!"

(Jen says, amazed.)

(Hoppip and Oddish then begin to use Sleep Powder on Arbok.)

Brock: "And now they're using Sleep Powder!"

(Brock says.)

(Soon, the Sleep Powder has taken effect and soon drifts off to sleep.)

(Jessie tries to wake Arbok up.)

Jessie' "Wake up, Arbok! This is crunch time, not naptime!"

Tomo: "You're doing great, Hoppip!"

(Tomo says.)

Misty: "Keep going, Oddish!"

(Misty calls out.)

Meowth: "This is embarrassing. Okay, twerps."

(Meowth says.)

(He spits in his paws and charges for an attack.)

Meowth: "Scratch attack time!"

(Oddish then gathers some sunlight, and launches a powerful Solar Beam attack, sending Team Rocket blasting off.)

James: "It seems like we're doing much more flying than those Hoppip are,"

(James says.)

Meowth: "Hey, maybe we should start an express delivery service ourselves! We already got the sharp looking uniforms!"

(Meowth says.)

(But Jessie shouts at him.)

Jessie: "It's all over, Meowth!"

(All three scream.)

Team Rocket: "We're blasting out of business!"

(Soon, everyone celebrates.)

(Later, everyone all has the Hoppip together again.)

(Mariah is very grateful.)

Mariah: "I can't tell you how happy I am that you all made it home safely."

Misty: "And it never would've happened if it wasn't for Oddish and her Hoppip friend."

(Misty says.)

Oddish and Shiny Hoppip: "Oddish/Hoppip," (Thank you.)

(Oddish and Shiny Hoppip says.)

Mew: "If you ask me, any Pokemon that battles as hard as you do has a lot to be proud of, even if it can't fly."

(Mew says.)

Oddish: "Oddish?" (Really?)

(Oddish asks.)

Jen: "That's right, Oddish,"

(Jen happily says.)

Jen: "And there wouldn't have even been a battle if you hadn't done such an excellent job of finding Mariah's Hoppip in the first place."

(Hoppip talks and says that she agrees.)

(Oddish is proven to be a great Pokemon)

Oddish: "Oddish," (Golly.)

(Oddish says, embarrassed.)

Brock: "Pokemon are all different and they're all good at different things."

(Brock says.)

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "Some Pokemon have super hearing like Marill and Zubat, some have great electric attacks like Pikachu. And some have great singing voices like Meloetta and Jigglypuff."

(The Pokemon agree.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "One Pokemon might be great with Water Gun, and another might have a strong Razor Leaf or Quick Attack. But nobody's good at everything."

(Then Jen says.)

Jen: "You're not a Hoppip, and you'll never be able to fly, but you sure can kick."

(Then Tomo says.)

Tomo: "Plus, you get to use Stun Spore and Sleep Powder and even real powerful attacks like Solar Beam.

Brock: "Just remember, it's what you can do and not what you can't do that counts."

(Brock says.)

(Mariah asks.)

Mariah: "Are you listening, Oddish?"

Oddish: "Oddish," (Sure am.)

(Oddish says.)

(Then Mariah says.)

Mariah: "You're special just the way you are, Oddish, and you'll always be special to me."

(Oddish then leaps into Mariah's arms.)

Mariah: "Of course I do! And from now on, we'll think of you as an honorary Hoppip that's a little oddish."

(Mariah happily says.9

(Everyone soon laughs.)

(Later in the evening, Mew and the others help Mariah fix her home.)

(Mariah is grateful.)

Mariah: "Thank you. You've all done so much for me. You even helped me fix the house."

Misty: "We wanted to Mariah."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "We were happy to do it."

(Mew says.)

(Then Tomo says.)

Tomo: "Yeah, that's what friends are for."

(Brock goes all lovey dovey again.)

Brock: "Oh, Mariah. My heart is flying higher than any Hoppip ever could! Say the word and I'll stay here with you and share the weather together forever!"

(Misty pulls Brock away by the ear.)

Misty: "Time to go, Romeo."

Mariah laughs.)

(Soon, Mew and the others begin their departure.)

(It's also revealed that Shiny Hoppip likes to tag along with Jen and is riding on Amura's back with Snubbull.)

(Everyone says their farewells.)

Mariah: "Good luck on your journey!"

(Mariah calls out.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "See ya later!"

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "You know how to reach me!"

Tomo: "Goodbye!"

(Tomo says.)

(Then Jen says?)

Jen: "Take care, everybody!"

(Mariah, the Hoppip, and Oddish all wave goodbye.)

(Jen ends up with a new Pokemon companion, and Mew and her friends learn about the Hoppip and the weather.)

(Most of all, although she can't fly, Oddish has proved that if we work hard to improve the talents you can do, you are able to allow yourself to soar.)

(And so, Mew and her friends will continue traveling through the Johto League to their next destination.)
