Chapter 49: 49, Ralts's family
After Evan had dinner, she returned to the breeding house and was about to wash up.
Suddenly, several Psychic waves emanated from a distance.
Moments later, several Pokémon appeared unexpectedly behind the breeding house.
Upon discovering this, Evan frowned immediately.
He hurried to the backyard.
Upon arriving, he saw a shiny Gardevoir and a Gallade, accompanied by two Kirlia and a Ralts.
Sophia's Ralts was also there.
In other words, there was now a Gardevoir tribe gathering in Evan's backyard!
Looking at the scene before her, Evan was visibly confused.
What was happening?
Why had a Gardevoir come to him?
And a shiny Gardevoir at that?
As soon as Evan saw the shiny Gardevoir, his eyes gleamed with interest.
Gardevoir and Gallade also noticed Evan.
"Garde~!"
Gardevoir glanced at Evan with a wary expression.
Gallade raised its arms as though preparing to strike.
Evan raised her eyebrows.
Were they here for a fight?
At that moment, Sophia's Ralts began explaining to Gardevoir and Gallade.
"Raa~la! Ralts!"
"Don't hurt Evan! I wasn't abducted by him!"
Evan quickly picked up on what Ralts was saying. So, these two thought Ralts had been kidnapped by him?
Realizing this, he breathed a sigh of relief.
"Hello there."
"Are you Ralts' family?"
Evan released his Psychic energy and began communicating with the Pokémon.
But as soon as his Psychic aura spread, the Pokémon stepped back nervously.
Clearly, they were startled by the intensity of Evan's Psychic abilities.
The shiny Gardevoir and Gallade exchanged wary glances, their expressions grave.
Was this person really human?
How could someone possess such immense Psychic power?
"Raa~la!"
"Rara!"
Ralts continued its spirited explanation.
It finally revealed its true intentions.
"I want my big brother and sister to become Evan's Pokémon! This way, we can stay together forever!"
This was its heartfelt plan.
Evan, it believed, was the perfect trainer for them.
In fact, Ralts hoped all its siblings could join Evan.
Its two older siblings—Gardevoir and Gallade—had gathered these Kirlia from different places to keep them close to Ralts. They were constantly on the move, wandering from place to place.
Gardevoir and Gallade had considered finding a trainer before but had never found anyone suitable.
Moreover, being incredibly strong, they were often hunted by humans, though unsuccessfully.
The shiny Gardevoir's strength was at the peak of the Elite level, just a step away from Champion-level.
Gallade was equally powerful, perhaps even stronger—on the verge of reaching Champion-level himself.
Wild Pokémon of such caliber were practically untouchable unless faced by Elite or Champion trainers. Even then, capturing them would be near-impossible.
As Psychic-type Pokémon, they could evade capture effortlessly. A few Teleports would be enough to leave any pursuer hopelessly lost.
"Gaaar~!"
"Lade~!"
Gallade and Gardevoir turned their attention to Ralts.
Were they serious about this plan?
Looking for a trainer for their siblings?
Their expressions were full of disbelief.
Evan was utterly baffled. Did this little Ralts put something akin to an emotional spell on her siblings? He could hardly believe the situation unfolding before him.
"Stretching~!"
Ralts chirped proudly, explaining her brilliant plan: she wanted Evan to raise her siblings too. By calling them here, she hoped Evan could conquer them all, ensuring they would always stay together.
When Evan finally processed what Ralts was saying, he couldn't help but feel exasperated and amused.
"You little troublemaker," he sighed, shaking his head with a wry smile. "What's going on in that head of yours? Do you really think your brother and sister would agree to something like this?"
He glanced at the shiny Gardevoir and Gallade, who exchanged incredulous looks. Clearly, neither of them had expected this to be the reason they'd been summoned. For a moment, both Pokémon were silent, seemingly at a loss for words.
Evan was realistic. As much as the idea excited him—he would love to train a group of such powerful Pokémon—he doubted they would agree. Gardevoir and Gallade were strong, independent Pokémon. There was no way they'd consent so easily.
Or so he thought.
Gardevoir and Gallade had started scanning the area. The orchard, vast and thriving, was clearly well cared for. They noticed that Evan seemed to be its owner. A peaceful home where their siblings would be safe, with no worries about food or danger, was a tempting prospect.
They exchanged thoughts through telepathy, considering the possibility.
Meanwhile, Evan remained blissfully unaware of their internal discussion, still lecturing the cheeky Ralts.
"Getting me one of you is already a tall order, and you want me to take in all of you? That's a bit much, don't you think?"
The younger Pokémon, particularly the Ralts and Kirlia, peeked shyly at Evan from behind Gardevoir and Gallade. Despite their timidity, they seemed fascinated by him. Evan's immense Psychic energy radiated like a beacon, commanding their respect and admiration. However, they were too shy to speak up, merely stealing glances when they thought he wasn't looking.
Gardevoir and Gallade appeared to come to an agreement.
The shiny Gardevoir took the lead, using telepathy to speak directly to Evan.
"Hello!"
Startled, Evan's eyes lit up, his gaze locking onto the shiny Gardevoir. Excitement flared within him.
This is it! he thought. A shiny Gardevoir! It's like a dream come true!
Warning.
The next lines talk about marrying pokemon. this will not affect the future plot and s just a dream. !!!!!!If you are not comfortable do not read!!!!
As the thought crossed his mind, a fleeting, absurd idea popped in too quickly to suppress. Wouldn't it be amazing if I could marry it?
The realization of his own ridiculous thought shocked Evan into silence.
Unbeknownst to him, Gardevoir had caught the fleeting idea through her psychic sensitivity. Her face flushed with embarrassment.
"Sana~!" she exclaimed, flustered. What kind of person thinks about marriage the first time they meet someone?!
Despite her exasperation, she couldn't help but find him intriguing. His Psychic energy was overwhelming, his demeanor was kind, and—to her surprise—she found him attractive by her own standards.
But still, that was too fast! Take your time!
Gallade, standing beside her, glanced at his sister and rolled his eyes. Yet, he too felt oddly pleased. His aloof sibling rarely showed such open emotions. It was refreshing to see her like this.
For the shiny Gardevoir, life as a rare Pokémon had never been easy. Her unique appearance often drew unwanted attention, and she was no stranger to being treated differently, even among other Gardevoir. This had led her to adopt a guarded, aloof demeanor. Only around her family did she feel like herself.
And yet, here she was, blushing and flustered, all because of one human. How unexpected.
