Pokémon Breeder In One Piece!

Chapter 340: Chapter 340

Atop the Red Line, once known as "Mariejois," now lies the "Tomb of the Celestial Dragons."

Ever since Dak and Darkrai destroyed Pangaea Castle, the once-magnificent city above the clouds was left in ruins.

Later, Tezoro took the initiative to renovate the city, declaring he'd put the ruins to good use.

About half a year later, Pangaea Castle vanished from the world of the seas, replaced by the Golden City.

Tezoro preserved the layout of Pangaea Castle as much as possible, but the white jade buildings were transformed into structures of gold using his Gold-Gold Fruit ability.

Now, the Golden City has become the largest entertainment hub in the world. It houses various failed experiments from the Alliance's research department, repurposed as entertaining attractions.

These include arcades, board game halls, card rooms, and even brothels and gambling dens.

One unique feature of the city is the "Worm Museum," a specimen museum.

This museum, frequented mostly by former slaves oppressed by the Celestial Dragons, is avoided by others due to its stomach-turning exhibits.

Today, the Golden City has closed its doors to all tourists.

No one was surprised, and no one dared to cause trouble.

Tezoro's prominence as the head of the Pokémon Alliance's financial department was well known. Disrespecting him was akin to disrespecting the Alliance itself.

One Week Ago

News of the "Golden Emperor" and "Kindness Queen" holding their wedding in the Golden City spread across the seas.

The excitement surrounding this event far surpassed that of Big Mom's infamous tea parties.

The "Kindness Queen" referred to Stella, the manager of the Kindness Store's main branch.

In the week leading up to the wedding, members of the daycare and their friends and family received invitations.

For example:

Dak invited Mihawk and the Whitebeard Pirates.

Robin invited Saul.

Sugar invited Nami.

Reiju invited Kuina.

Naturally, the stars of the wedding, Tezoro and Stella, extended the most invitations.

Stella mainly invited frequent customers and employees of the Kindness Store, while Tezoro invited prominent figures across the Pokémon Alliance:

The Elite Four

Gym Leaders from the eight major gyms

Department heads and their deputies

Admirals and top officers from the Marine faction and the Shadow Corps

Mayors, Pokémon Center directors, and teachers from the Pokémon Academy

By the time the guests gathered, the wedding boasted a crowd of hundreds. Including Pokémon, the number easily exceeded a thousand.

Alliance Year 2, April 21st

For most people, this date held no special meaning.

For Tezoro and Stella, however, it was a day of immense significance—it was both Stella's birthday and their wedding day.

To prepare for the evening ceremony, the daycare members were up as early as five or six in the morning, attending to various tasks.

Many were preparing their outfits as they would serve as bridesmaids or groomsmen.

Even Dak couldn't slack off on such an occasion.

Although he wasn't a groomsman, Tezoro had asked him to host the wedding.

While Dak found this a hassle, he couldn't refuse such a small request from a close friend.

He understood the importance of his role to the couple. Without him, their journey to this moment would have been impossible.

In the Makeup Room Behind the Wedding Stage

Dak and Esdeath stood in front of the dressing mirror, tidying up their appearances.

"Master… Are you serious about this?"

"Of course. Do I look like I'm joking?"

Dak adjusted his collar, glancing at Esdeath in the mirror.

Esdeath, dressed in a pristine white gown with her makeup meticulously applied, looked every bit the princess.

As the youngest members of the daycare, Esdeath and Sugar were assigned the role of holding Stella's wedding gown train.

"Fine…" Esdeath sighed, resigned to her fate.

While most girls would relish such a role, Esdeath was no ordinary girl. She'd much rather spend her time training to become stronger.

But since her master had asked, she couldn't refuse.

"Sugar, is the security detail ready?" Dak asked the green-haired girl beside him.

"Yep, everything's set. Our department will handle security inside the venue, while Dr. Vegapunk's Seraphim guard the perimeter," Sugar replied confidently.

"The Seraphim are operational already?" Dak raised an eyebrow.

The Seraphim were originally supposed to debut nine years later, but Vegapunk had accelerated their development.

"With completed experimental subjects and lineage factor data from Judge's research, it was just a matter of extracting DNA and retrying if something failed," Sugar explained casually.

As the head of the security department, Sugar often liaised with Vegapunk to obtain cutting-edge tech for her team.

While Vegapunk usually declined her requests, this time was different due to the availability of captured pirates.

The Seraphim's DNA sources included figures like Crocodile, Moria, Doflamingo, Shiki, Big Mom, Kaido, and CP0 officers. Even a few surviving members of the Holy Knights were captured, though their DNA wasn't used to avoid any "nobility complex" issues.

"Then we have nothing to worry about," Dak said, reassured.

The Golden City was surrounded by Seraphim, Pacifistas, and armed clones. Anyone who could breach this defense was either part of the Pokémon Alliance or a friendly ally.

Afternoon

Guests began arriving with their invitations.

The first to arrive were members of the Akatsuki from the ninja world, led by Orochimaru.

"Wow! This is the Golden City? Amazing! Everything is made of gold—how much must this be worth?!" exclaimed Konan, the new financial minister of the Akatsuki.

Because Yahiko was still alive, Konan and Nagato were far from their original somber selves. Konan retained her cheerful and angelic demeanor, while Nagato was a shy young man.

"Turning everything into gold? Devil Fruit powers are fascinating—much more versatile than kekkei genkai," Orochimaru remarked, his forked tongue flicking with interest.

"This place looks so fun! Let's come back another time to play," Zabuza suggested, his eyes gleaming at the sight of a gambling den.

"This world suits me perfectly," Kisame said, flexing his webbed fingers. The oceanic environment enhanced his power significantly compared to the ninja world.

"We should pick up a Pokémon egg before heading back—it's part of our mission," Shisui said, spotting a branch of the Pokémon daycare.

"You're early," came a voice from a nearby rooftop.

The group turned to see the original Akatsuki F4, looking young and vibrant.

"Sensei?!" Shisui exclaimed, shocked at Izuna's appearance.

The others were equally surprised. Madara, Hashirama, and Tobirama, who had been old and frail, now looked decades younger.

"This is incredible. The power of the First Gods must be real," Orochimaru said, intrigued by the possibility of reversing aging.

"Madara's Rinnegan remains intact, which means his power wasn't reverted. This isn't Dialga's time reversal but another First God's power," Orochimaru deduced.

"Multiple First Gods capable of granting immortality? That's astonishing," Hiruko added, equally amazed.

Unlike Orochimaru, Hiruko had no personal desire for immortality. He was content with his current life and had no grand ambitions.

"I need to study at Pokémon Island for a while. I wonder if Dr. Vegapunk accepts apprentices," Orochimaru muttered, his eyes gleaming with determination.
