Pokémon Breeder In One Piece!

Chapter 339: Chapter 339

[New Fanfic: Master Craftsman In The Pokémon World]

"Hey, have you noticed a common theme?" Sakura asked, rubbing her chin while reading Ho-Oh's description.

"Yeah," Ino nodded. "At least half of the First Gods seem to prefer peace, and while it's not explicitly mentioned for the rest, they also seem to dislike war."

Their teacher had discussed this during class, though back then, Ho-Oh's statue hadn't yet appeared in the Hall of Primordials.

"Of course," Nojiko chimed in. "The Pokémon Alliance has always promoted peace. They even united the First Gods' powers to destroy the previous era's oppressive World Government."

Being from the One Piece world, Nojiko had a better understanding of that history.

"The same goes for the ninja world. The Alliance Leader, along with Dialga, traveled 38 years into the past to work with the first Akatsuki leader, Madara, to build an era of peace," Sakura added.

She hadn't lived through a time of war but had no intention of experiencing one. The Pokémon Academy's history lessons often included footage of past wars to educate students on the horrors of conflict and death.

"Ho-Oh has been around for so long? That means its existence predates recorded history," Ino remarked, marveling at the statue's description.

It mentioned that Ho-Oh hadn't appeared for over ten thousand years, implying an age well beyond that.

"Of course. Ho-Oh has existed since before humanity. All the First Gods must have lived for incredibly long periods," Nojiko said matter-of-factly.

With their immense divine power, they couldn't possibly have the short lifespans typical of regular Pokémon.

"I heard that Sceptile is the youngest among the First Gods, yet even it is three to four hundred years old," Sakura said, sharing a rumor she'd picked up somewhere.

"That's incredible. I wonder if more people from other worlds will show up in the future. Hopefully, they're not bad, or Ho-Oh might never appear again," Ino said.

"They won't get the chance. If someone like that shows up, they'll be locked in the Alliance's prison immediately," Nojiko said with unwavering faith in the Pokémon Alliance.

Her adoptive mother, Bellemere, was a member of the Alliance, giving Nojiko insight into its formidable strength. Even without Dak's intervention, the Alliance's upper echelon could easily crush many worlds.

The trio moved on to read about Ho-Oh's Guardian Trio.

[Flame God: Entei]

[Entei is a Pokémon with molten passion flowing through its body, believed to have been born from volcanic eruptions. It can unleash flames hotter than molten lava, incinerating everything.]

[It is said that when Entei roars, a volcano somewhere in the world will erupt. Even in slumber, it rests near searing hot lava.]

[Entei symbolizes courage and only appears before those with bravery, staring them down with an intimidating gaze to test their mettle.]

"Entei… What a bold name. It seems to be the strongest among Ho-Oh's guardians," Sakura said, feeling a wave of intimidation just by gazing into the statue's eyes.

"No, no, no. Look over here. This one might be even stronger," Ino countered, standing before Raikou.

[Thunder God: Raikou]

[Raikou is a fierce Pokémon that arrives with thunder. Carrying a storm cloud on its back, it can summon lightning at will.]

[With lightning-fast speed, it discharges its boundless energy in thunder strikes while racing across the land.]

[When Raikou's thunderous roar echoes, lightning inevitably strikes somewhere in the world, shaking the earth.]

[Raikou symbolizes justice but harbors a deep disdain for humanity. Even those with strong senses of justice may not encounter it. And even if they do, they might get scolded.]

"Disdain for humanity? That seems a bit contradictory to Ho-Oh's nature," Nojiko mused, finding Raikou peculiar.

Ho-Oh, after all, was known for its closeness to humans. Raikou's hostility seemed at odds with its role as Ho-Oh's guardian. There had to be more to the story.

"I wonder what happened when the staff writing this description met Raikou. Did they get scolded?" Ino speculated mischievously.

She could already picture Raikou, like an oversized cat, bristling and growling threateningly at the researchers observing it.

"Compared to the other two, Suicune seems much gentler," Sakura commented.

The others turned to see Sakura touching Suicune's statue.

The fact that timid Sakura dared to approach and touch it was a testament to Suicune's gentle aura.

[Water God: Suicune]

[Suicune is a Pokémon with a serene presence, seeking out places with clear, flowing water.]

[It possesses the ability to purify polluted water instantaneously. Suicune's appearance is often accompanied by a mysterious northern wind, and it is known as the 'Embodiment of the North Wind.']

[Suicune symbolizes compassion, appearing only to trainers who show kindness to all Pokémon. It is the most gentle and human-friendly member of Ho-Oh's guardians.]

"Just looking at it feels calming," Nojiko said, gazing at Suicune's serene expression.

Unlike Entei's imposing aura or Raikou's fierce demeanor, Suicune exuded a dignified and gentle presence.

"So, these are Ho-Oh's three guardian Pokémon. They seem incredibly strong. But what's their true relationship with Ho-Oh?" Sakura wondered, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

She was deeply fascinated by the stories of the First Gods. Though she had joined the battle department to be closer to Sasuke, she was now considering switching to the research department's mythology studies.

Of course, there was another reason.

She realized pursuing Sasuke was nearly impossible since he was utterly smitten with that spiky-haired blond kid.

Still, she wasn't out of options. Sasuke was a doting brother, so befriending his older brother might be an alternate route.

Coincidentally, Itachi had joined the research department's history program, which shared a building and overlapping subjects with mythology studies.

"Well, who knows? The Hall of Primordials only reveals a fraction of the First Gods' stories. If you want to learn more, you'll have to explore on your own," Ino said with a shrug, clearly less interested.

"It's getting late. We should head back to the academy, or the gates might be locked by the time we arrive," Nojiko reminded them, checking the time.

The trio had spent too much time on their way here, leaving little room for activities like taking pictures.

But that didn't matter; they still had plenty of time in Alliance City to visit again.

The three girls left the Hall of Primordials and hailed a Ride Pokémon.

A few minutes later, a Bouffalant arrived. Its large frame easily accommodated the three of them.

As they set off, Ino, sitting at the back, suddenly felt a scorching heat behind her.

Turning around, she spotted a massive, lion-like Pokémon emanating intense heat standing on the distant plains, staring at her.

"Entei!" she shouted, startling the others.

"What? Where?"

Nojiko and Sakura turned to look, but Entei's figure had vanished by then.

"Ino?"

"Liar!"

"I'm not lying!" Ino protested vehemently. She had clearly seen Entei!

Did this mean she had been deemed courageous by Entei?

Her imagination ran wild, envisioning herself as Entei's chosen trainer, riding on its back across endless grasslands.

Meanwhile...

"Ho-Oh, along with Raikou and Suicune, I'll leave it to you all on Tezoro's wedding day," Dak said, patting the three Pokémon.

[Ho-Oh – Red – Level 85]

Ho-Oh had only been created a few days ago and was still like a child.

"Chirp!"

Ho-Oh lifted its head proudly but ultimately agreed.

Unlike the calm and majestic Ho-Oh from the Pokémon world, this one resembled a haughty, oversized rooster.

As for its Guardian Trio—Entei, Raikou, and Suicune—they were genuine imports from the Pokémon world, with orange-grade potential and levels around 80.

These weren't the same guardians revived by Ho-Oh in the original story, as those would likely have golden-grade potential and levels of at least 85.

Raikou's hostility toward humanity, as noted in its description, stemmed from its origin.

It was born over 500 years ago in the Unova region during an era of monstrous wars waged by the kingdoms of Truth and Ideals. The devastation it witnessed had shaped its disdain for humanity.

Suicune and Entei, meanwhile, originated in the Hoenn and Kalos regions, respectively, during relatively peaceful times.

Despite their differences, the trio was easygoing and cooperative with Dak, making them reliable allies.
