Pokémon: A Trainer Who Masters the Six Powers from the Start

Chapter 70: Chapter 70: Encounter with the Pokémon Hunter

"Bellossom, Magical Leaf! Use Shave, then charge in with Leaf Blade!"

A flurry of green leaves flew out, disrupting Infernape's vision.

A green flash darted past, leaving a gash across Infernape's chest.

"Bellossom, Shave: Hexagram Formation!"

As Bellossom grew more adept at mastering Shave (one of the Six Powers focusing on high-speed movement), Ron had begun encouraging her to combine Shave with her existing moves to create new techniques.

This latest maneuver was an example: Bellossom used Shave to move at incredible speed, attacking Infernape from all directions, forming a green hexagram with Infernape at its center.

Bellossom slowly retracted her Leaf Blade as the hexagram dissipated.

The battered Infernape, now covered in numerous wounds, finally succumbed to its injuries and fainted.

"Well done, Bellossom. Keep up the great work," Ron said gently, stroking the flower atop Bellossom's head.

Since Bellossom was a female, Ron treated her differently from how he motivated Machoke and the others. Blushing shyly, Bellossom covered her face and nodded firmly.

Defeating Infernape allowed Bellossom to level up to 33, achieving Ron's earlier goal.

Next, Ron decided that if they encountered another wild Pokémon, it would be Persian's turn to take the spotlight.

After defeating a level 38 Rhyhorn earlier, Ron figured it was reasonable to train Persian up to level 36.

With that decision made, Ron briefly treated Infernape's wounds before continuing their journey.

Before they could find another Pokémon, the sound of a battle echoed nearby.

"Stay alert. Let's move closer to investigate," Ron instructed Machoke and the others, advancing cautiously toward the commotion.

In the forest, amid the remnants of an explosion, a Kangaskhan lay in the center of the clearing, her body covered in wounds.

Beside her, a distressed and unharmed baby Kangaskhan frantically shook her arm, tears streaming down its face.

It was evident that the mother Kangaskhan had shielded her child from the explosion, keeping it safe despite the danger.

"Didn't expect my luck to be this good—a Kangaskhan caught in one of my traps," a rough voice boomed.

A burly man, nearly two meters tall, emerged from the forest, accompanied by an Arbok with a fearsome level 38 power.

The baby Kangaskhan quickly stood in front of its mother, trembling yet resolute despite the overwhelming fear brought on by Arbok's presence.

"Arbok, have some fun with it, but don't kill it. Otherwise, it won't fetch the best price," the man, Warner, sneered, giving Arbok its instructions.

Following Warner's orders, Arbok lunged at the baby Kangaskhan.

The power difference was immense. Before the baby Kangaskhan could react, Arbok coiled its tail around it and hurled it into the air.

Chasing after the airborne Pokémon, Arbok slammed it back to the ground, repeating the torment like a predator playing with its prey.

After several rounds, Arbok seemed to tire of the game and threw the baby Kangaskhan to the ground.

Despite the excruciating pain coursing through its body, the baby Kangaskhan struggled to stand, driven by its will to protect its mother.

As Arbok charged again, intending to finish the fight, the baby Kangaskhan closed its eyes, bracing for the inevitable. But instead of pain, it heard a pained screech from Arbok.

Opening its eyes, it saw a Machoke standing protectively in front of it, gripping Arbok as though it were a mere ragdoll. Blood dripped from Arbok's scales onto the forest floor.

Not far away, Persian's claws rested against Warner's throat, ready to strike if he moved an inch.

Bellossom approached, using Magical Leaf to confiscate all the Poké Balls and items from Warner, ensuring he couldn't retaliate.

"Don't worry. You're safe now," Ron said as he knelt beside the baby Kangaskhan, gently placing a hand on its head.

Initially wary, the baby Kangaskhan felt a soothing warmth envelop it, making it relax and close its eyes, forgetting its urge to resist.

Moments later, the warmth subsided. The baby Kangaskhan opened its eyes to see Ron tending to its mother's wounds.

Mistaking Ron's intentions, the baby Kangaskhan charged at him, only to stop in its tracks when it saw her injuries healing rapidly through a mysterious power.

Before long, the mother Kangaskhan regained consciousness. Seeing this, Ron stepped back, allowing her to reunite with her child.

The baby Kangaskhan leaped into its mother's arms, sobbing as it recounted what had just happened.

Machoke casually tossed Arbok's limp body to the ground before following Ron.

Drawing a dagger, Ron approached Warner, prepared to deal with him personally.

To Ron, Pokémon hunters had always been an annoyance, but this was the first time he felt genuine disgust and an intense urge to kill.

"Please, don't kill me! I was wrong! I'll turn myself in! Just spare me!" Warner begged, paralyzed by fear and unable to move under Persian's watch.

His pleas fell on deaf ears as Ron's dagger gleamed in the dim light, inching closer.

"Wait! If you spare me, I'll tell you where you can find a Golden Spirit Fruit in this forest!" Warner shouted desperately.

Ron paused, intrigued. "A Golden Spirit Fruit? Where?"

"Promise not to kill me, and I'll tell you," Warner said, seizing the sliver of hope.

"Fine. But if you lie to me, I'll make you wish you were dead," Ron replied coldly.

With his life temporarily spared, Warner obediently revealed the fruit's location.
