Pokémon: A Trainer Who Masters the Six Powers from the Start

Chapter 154: Chapter 154: Fuchsia City

"Do you have premium Pokéblocks?"

"Yes, we do. We have Pokéblocks that enhance strength, increase speed, and..."

"How much for everything?"

Before the staff member could finish, Ron interrupted.

Sensing a lucrative transaction, the shopkeeper Matias's expression became increasingly polite, and his tone more deferential.

"Altogether, it's 150 million. If you take everything, we can offer a discount—how about 145 million?"

"Package it. Charge it to my card."

"And these Pokéblocks—check their quality and tell me how much they're worth."

"Understood. Please hold on a moment."

Barely containing his excitement, Matias busied himself. He directed his staff to bring over the premium Pokéblocks while arranging for Ron's Pokéblocks to be appraised.

Meanwhile, Matias personally attended to Ron, ensuring this VIP client wouldn't leave unsatisfied.

Not only Matias but everyone in the shop now looked at Ron differently.

Generally speaking, unless they were from influential families or corporations, even elite-level trainers rarely used premium Pokéblocks. Those who did typically reserved them for their main Pokémon and only bought a few months' supply at a time to avoid overspending.

But Ron had just bought out the shop's entire stock—a rarity akin to finding a needle in a haystack.

Such a large quantity of premium Pokéblocks would be enough to sustain a single Pokémon for two years. Unfortunately, divided among Ron's six Pokémon, it would only last about four months.

Some people began eyeing Ron with a hint of greed, sizing him up. However, the black cloak he wore deterred anyone from acting rashly.

Most trainers in the black market were elite-level trainers, and their survival often hinged on caution. None of them were foolish enough to provoke a potential powerhouse.

When Ron left the shop, no one dared to test him—partly due to his uncertain strength and partly because of the black market's rules.

After selling his items, Ron was left with 34 million League coins and 10,000 League Contribution Points. The bulk of his accumulated resources was now spent.

Next on Ron's agenda was systematically strengthening his team, challenging gym leaders, and waiting for Machamp to break through to high Elite status.

That would determine his next steps.

Following the route he came by, Ron returned to the black market's entrance.

When he arrived, Ron was alone. When he left, however, a small group had decided to follow him.

Ignoring their probing gazes, Ron entered the small house that served as the market's exit and left.

As he pushed open the door, he saw the old man inside still wiping down a bottle, though it was a different one this time.

Ron bowed slightly before stepping outside.

The group following Ron refrained from acting out in the old man's presence, hastily stepping outside as well. Once outside, they saw Ron release Kirlia.

The next moment, Ron vanished before their eyes.

...

Wade Family Estate.

Dunn Wade was seeking advice from one of the family's retainers on commanding Pokémon in battle.

After learning of his failure at Lukino and being given another chance to take revenge by his father, as well as the potential consequences of failure, Dunn had seemingly undergone a transformation.

Every morning, he sought guidance from the family retainers on survival skills for the wild. In the afternoons, he practiced battle techniques and sparred with others.

Unlike his aptitude for business and managing the family enterprise, Dunn had always preferred battling Pokémon. That's why he purchased a qualifying badge, hoping to participate in the Indigo League.

Backed by the resources of the Wade family,Dunn's rapid growth in just a few days had elevated him to the level of an entry-level elite trainer, though he was still somewhat inexperienced in battles.

Compared to his former self, however, he was undeniably stronger now.

This was one of the strengths of powerful families—even if someone like Dunn had squandered much of his time, with enough resources and determination, he could easily surpass others.

Satisfied with his son's progress, Hudson Wade believed the future looked promising.

His eldest son had a sharp business mind and could take over the family enterprise.

If his second son, Dunn Wade, became a competent trainer, it would also greatly benefit the family.

With the Wade family's wealth, even if Dunn lacked talent, they could still elevate him to a Elite Four-level trainer by sheer force of resources.

Hudson began to think more favorably of Ron.

If not for him, his second son wouldn't have changed so dramatically.

And once Ron died at Dunn's hands, everything would be perfect.

When Ron entered Fuchsia City, it didn't take long for someone to start tracking him and report back to Hudson Wade.

Fuchsia City.

Wasting no time, Ron first registered for a gym battle at Fuchsia Gym before heading to the Pokémon Center.

With his qualifying badge, Ron technically didn't need to challenge gyms anymore. He could've found a quiet place to train his Machamp and other Pokémon while waiting for the Indigo League to begin.

However, Ron couldn't afford to do so. If he suddenly disappeared, those monitoring him might suspect he'd caught on to their plans and intensify their surveillance.

This would make it much harder for Ron to find opportunities to slip away.

Between the two options, dealing with the Wade family was the lesser challenge compared to the unseen forces lurking in the shadows.

Thus, Ron came to Fuchsia City to keep those forces at ease.

Over the next two days, Ron stayed at the Pokémon Center. He trained alongside his Pokémon and sought battles with other trainers.

Notably, Persian, like Machamp, had mastered the Moonwalk technique and was now practicing Finger Pistol.

With its sharp claws, Persian could unleash far greater destructive power with Finger Pistol than Machamp could.

The most surprising development for Ron was that Bellossom could barely manage to use Moonwalk before even breaking through to the mid Elite level.

Though still clumsy and struggling with directional control, it was undeniably a significant step forward, giving Ron deeper insights into the Six Powers of the Navy.

At the same time, Dunn, who had caught wind of Ron's movements, had made his preparations, waiting patiently for the moment Ron left Fuchsia City.

If Ron were to die in Fuchsia City, his reputation would undoubtedly stir up a significant storm, which could potentially bring trouble to the Wade family.

Thus, the Wade family refrained from acting while Ron remained in Fuchsia City. Instead, they kept a close watch on him, ready to strike the moment he stepped out of the city.
