Pokemon - A real story

Axel was closely looking at Aron's egg. It was going to hatch in any minute now. Agnes, Noah, and his young Pokemons like Squirtle and Magnemite were also looking at the egg.

Axel told all of them to make some distance and he didn't want to scare the baby that had just been born.

Suddenly the egg started to move a little and after a few tries it started to crack.

Crack... Crack..

The first crack was a big one but the second was not so much. It was said that one should not help a Pokemon in this process and this would make the Pokemon weaker in the future.

It took some time and all of them patiently waited. Finally, a small Pokemon came out of the egg.

It was a quadrupedal Pokemon with four stubby legs and a large round head. Its body was black with plates of gray armor covering its head, back, and legs. Throughout its body were small openings in the armor. There were six openings on its head, with the largest two being openings for its pale blue eyes and one opening on either side of the spike on its back. A single, blunt spike protruded from its back.

This was Aron, his new Pokemon.

"Ar... Aron...", it said softly and slowly went toward the arm of Axel. Since Axel was the first one to see it, it had already considered Axel as a part of its family.

"Come here, small guy. I will make you the most dominating Pokemon in this whole wide world.", said Axel and looked at its stats.

Nothing much had changed in its status page. Axel was very curious about the move 'Greater shield'. So, it looked into its description.

Greater Shield:

 Stage I: With each increase in its health and defense stats, its overall physical defense would double in increment. A soft metallic aura would always cover its body.

The description was very simple but it was obviously very overpowered. If Axel focused on increasing the defense and health of this Pokemon, its overall defense would further increase. It would not matter much in the earlier stage but when it reaches king rank, it would be almost impossible to kill. The only bad thing about this was that its special defense was not included in it.

Axel thought that after reaching stage II or III, special defense would also be included.

But right now, it needed plenty of rest. Axel got the Momo milk from his storage and gave it to Aron. It sucked all the milk and then slept. Aron was known to eat iron ores as food. Obviously, the stone family had provided him with a lot of rare iron ores but he would not give it to Aron right now.

As of right now, it had just been born and it could not eat those iron ores. As per the training manual given by Steven and also the stone family, it was recommended to feed these ores after a month.

There was a lot of details on how to properly take care of it to build a solid foundation and Axel was going to follow all of it.

As of right now, it could not fight. It was not a dragon type Pokemon that could be properly trained after a week. It needed a full 3 months of proper rest and food to grow up.

Steven was not shy in sharing this training plan. Of course, Axel was not going to follow all of them. He was going to improve them to the best of his ability. But that would come at a later time.

His Pokemons were now training as hard as they could. He was going to change the training plans for all of his Pokemons that were available right now.

But, before doing all of this, he wanted to have a firm grasp on his restaurant business.

Since he had a lot of Pokemons right now, 25 to be exact, the money required to even feed them was huge. Also, the resources, vitamins, and minerals required for them to train and get stronger were even more huge.

Axel had around 700 billion Poke dollars before and now it had decreased to just 200 billion Pokedollars.

Just in half a year, the number had decreased so much. It was not like Axel didn't have a source of income or he was not rich. He was very rich but his expenses were also very high.

Tide battles could not be done every day, so his only hope was the restaurant business. Axel had left the responsibility of this to his family and now he wanted to see how much they had progressed.

Axel was with everyone in the family right now. Agnes had also started to help in the family business. Arron, Axel's father had also quit his job and now was focusing on the business.

While he was looking at all the financial statements, he was shocked by the progress that they had made.

They had already started the concept of franchise. Axel already knew about this.

As of right now, there were 2 restaurants in their city, 10 restaurants in other cities near their city, and 5 franchisees. As per Axel's instruction, they had also changed the name of the restaurants depending on the food that they were serving.

As of right now, there were 3 types of restaurants. One for Nepali and Indian cuisine as they were very similar. Second was for Chinese cuisine and third was the American and British cuisine.

Among the 12 restaurants, there were 6 Nepali and Indian cuisine named 'Bagaicha', 4 American and British cuisine named, 'In and Out', and 2 Chinese cuisines named 'Wan Li'.

All of these had happened and it had been 5-6 months yet the money received from these outlets was only around 50 million Poke dollars which was very low compared to Axel's expenditure.

So, why was that?

"Brother, the money is so low cause we had to invest a lot. We opened a lot of restaurants. The interior design provided by Mr. Gordon was free but the cost of making them was very high.

Also, the cost of chefs and other staff are considerable. Do you think that we should hire lower-level chefs for the restaurants?", said Agnes.

"No, we will only get the best. I believe that within a year, we will progress a lot. Right now, stop all the expansion for a couple of months. Let the people know about our products and then we will expand.

Axel had taught all the things relating to the double entry system, finance, and accounting to Agnes. Turns out, if one didn't take these lessons as a course that should be learned, it was pretty interesting and easier to grasp. Agnes was also very talented in these aspects.

"Brother, we also got a lot of money from the stadium and training grounds.", said Agnes excitedly.

Axel thought to not touch the money from the restaurants and other income for at least a year. He wanted them to invest the money and cover his restaurants all over the Kanto region. But money was something that he was lacking a lot.

He needed another source of income to survive. The only that came to his mind was to sell the information about the evolution of Golbat but he needed a very powerful force to make it happen.

So, he called Blue and Angela and told them his plan and they agreed without any problem.

Then he went to the internet. There was a website called the 'Poke Market place' where one can sell information at a very high price. There were a lot of things that needed to be done to get registered but Axel had no problem. His credentials were very high.

In just a few minutes, he got registered and he sent an offer regarding the evolution of Golbat and left it there to check tomorrow.

Axel had been training Nidoking for a long time. Nidoking was his first official Pokemon, so he had done a lot of experiments in its training. Some of them got him good results and some of them not so much. But it was no doubt that Nidoking was a very powerful Pokemon.

Actually, it acted like a special attacker and tank at the same time. That didn't mean that its attack power was weak. No, Nidoking was a very powerful physical attacker too.

It was actually an all-rounder and it was doing a good job maintaining that position.

After a long time, he looked at its status page to get a summary of its progress.
