Chapter 326: Chapter 326: The Final Battlefield
"How's it looking, Violet?"
In the flower field far from the battlefield, a group of the old, the weak, and the injured had gathered to rest while Violet used her clairvoyant powers to livestream the action.
King Riku, still muscular but with a head of white hair; his granddaughter Rebecca; a group of injured Tontatta warriors; and Usopp, who had been covered in blood and on the verge of collapse earlier. Thanks to Chopper's treatment, the healing powers of Marco's phoenix flames, and a combination of restorative items, Usopp had managed to sit up again.
It wasn't that they didn't want to join the fight, but—
"It's just too much…"
King Riku had been a skilled gladiator in his time, Rebecca was known as the "Undefeated Girl," Violet was at least Shichibukai officer level, and Usopp had a knack for performing miracles. Even so—
Boom!!!
Even from half a city away, the rising plumes of smoke, the ground-shaking tremors, the towering stone giants, and the flashes of blades cutting through the sky—
Explosions, gaping chasms forming out of nowhere—
For anyone without power in the tens of millions, stepping onto that battlefield wasn't about fighting. It was about figuring out how to survive.
As for the civilians who had learned the truth and made their way here:
"King Riku, please save us!"
Their tears mixed with rage as they clutched mops and kitchen knives in their hands.
"If you give the order, we'll fight them, even if it costs our lives…"
The civilians knelt before their former king, their faces filled with anger, sorrow, weakness, and helplessness. They needed a leader—a king—to guide them.
"Everyone, just wait a little longer,"
"Wait for the outcome. Even if we have to die, it won't be too late then."
Fight?
Sorry, but ordinary people don't even have the right to fight someone like Doflamingo.
That's the sad truth of this world: for regular people, the best they can do against someone so powerful is to spill some blood before they die.
The fate of an entire country now rests in the hands of a group of pirates.
It sounds absurd, but no one here found it strange.
"Sanji is a gentleman who always keeps his word."
"I can't imagine Neo losing in any situation…"
"That's right! He's a companion of the great hero Usopp!"
"Don't worry," Usopp said confidently, giving a thumbs up.
"Luffy is going to be the Pirate King! And now that Neo is back, along with Zoro and Sanji, nothing can stop the Straw Hat crew!"
"Pirate King, huh?"
"Marine… Admiral!"
Everyone turned and realized that Fujitora, wearing a Marine Admiral's cape, had been sitting nearby without anyone noticing.
"Did he come to—"
As Usopp braced for the worst, Fujitora simply shook the dice in his hand gently.
"Let me place a bet too."
He was betting on the Straw Hat crew to become the heroes who would save this country.
"Two-Sword Style: Twin Slash!"
With Zoro's swift horizontal strike, the massive rock arm was sliced cleanly into three pieces, as if it were nothing more than tofu.
As Zoro charged forward, a towering figure stood in his way—bare-chested, armored, wearing a helmet with a cross-shaped face guard. He had wavy hair, a tall and muscular build, and a black spade tattoo on his shoulder. The light in Pica's eyes dimmed.
*Slash!*
His body was sliced into pieces by Zoro's swords without resistance—
Rock.
"Tch, ran away again?"
"Rock Octopus!"
Pica's high-pitched voice echoed as he sank back into the rocky ground. Suddenly, eight massive rock tentacles rose from all sides, surrounding Zoro and aiming to pierce him like a skewer.
"Annoying."
But to Zoro, these were just minor obstacles, easily dealt with by a swing of his sword.
"I've already figured out your movements."
Clenching Wado Ichimonji in his teeth, Zoro faced the towering rock giant that reached thousands of meters high and took his stance.
"Three-Sword Style: 1080 Pound Phoenix!"
With a brief moment of focus, Zoro channeled a massive amount of Haki and demonic energy into his swords and slashed toward the rock giant, which had started moving again after Luffy had blown its head off earlier.
The attack that once required all his strength a year ago now seemed effortless.
*Crack!*
A towering blade of energy shot skyward, cleaving into the massive rock giant. The colossus, created by Pica using the rocks from nearly half the city, split down the middle with an earth-shattering explosion.
"Eeeek!"
Pica's shrill cry echoed from within the rock as he panicked. Meanwhile, Zoro calmly removed Wado Ichimonji from his mouth and pointed it at the massive giant in front of him.
"Listen closely—"
"I'm the man who will one day become the world's greatest swordsman!"
"You're not even on the same level as me!"
Pica, who had arrogantly declared before the battle that he could handle all his opponents alone, now broke out in a cold sweat, his face pale as ash.

Boom! Boom! Boom!
Roman, observing the battlefield through his white doves, sighed helplessly. Jack's raw power and destruction were simply overwhelming. Apart from the Straw Hats and a handful of top fighters from the coliseum, anyone who got close to the battlefield couldn't handle the shockwaves of their clash.
On top of that, the intense heat radiating from Jack's body left nearby creatures parched, bleeding from the nose and mouth, dehydrated, and dizzy. While it was effective against weaker opponents, it didn't work as well against stronger fighters. After all, whether it's an Ancient Zoan or a Mythical Zoan, Zoan types are still Zoan types. Their greatest advantage is their near-indestructible bodies.
Abilities and special skills? Those are just extras.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Unable to catch Roman, Jack swung both arms furiously, sending a barrage of enormous flying slashes toward him. Each one carried brutal, unstoppable force, like the charging tusks of a giant beast.
But Roman, cloaked in his *White Knight* armor, swayed effortlessly side to side. His figure moved like a willow in the wind or a mirage on water. The slashes flew past him, crashing elsewhere and exploding on impact, as Roman tightened his grip on his longsword.
"If you attack, don't expect me to sit still. Take this!"
With a swing of his sword, it let out a mournful hum as it slashed down fiercely. Jack immediately shifted to defense, crossing his scythes to block the strike. Sparks flew as the sword dragged across his weapons, and the clash of their Armament Haki tore the air, leaving black cracks in the space around them.
The next moment, Roman's longsword softened and slipped away, catching Jack off guard for a split second. His balance wavered, and blood sprayed from his arm where Roman's sword had dragged and cut him.
But in the blink of an eye, the wound on Jack's arm stopped bleeding and began to close. Without even glancing at the injury, Jack flipped his wrist, swinging one of his scythes at Roman, forcing him to retreat. When Roman looked again, the wound on Jack's arm had already disappeared.
This...
Something's off.
Inside the *White Knight,* Roman furrowed his brow.
If their roles were reversed, Roman wouldn't waste time here. He would've turned around and slaughtered the coliseum fighters, the Straw Hats, or even Luffy himself. If Jack coordinated with Doflamingo to capture Luffy and Law, the Straw Hats would lose morale instantly and fall apart.
That's the logical move, not this back-and-forth swordplay with Roman, where neither could gain the upper hand.
Most people assumed Jack was a simple brute, but that wasn't the case.
True, Jack came across as ruthless and domineering, unwilling to negotiate and always resorting to brute force. He was decisive and fearless, even in the face of Admiral-level opponents, but his temper was violent, and his methods cruel.
However, within his own pirate crew, Jack was responsible and meticulous, carrying out orders flawlessly. To his fellow Calamities, King and Queen, and their leader Kaido, he was humble, respectful, and tireless. In many ways, he was the perfect subordinate.
He was also one of the few who could stop Kaido from going on drunken rampages. Jack fought with unrelenting force but was calm and strategic when needed.
That's why Roman found this whole situation strange. Fighting him like this wasn't a smart move unless...
---
"Fufufufufu~~ You two!"
Standing in a world of strings, Donquixote Doflamingo laughed. It was an arrogant laugh, but also a furious one.
"Look at what you've done!!"
"The foundation I spent ten years building, ruined in a single day by you brats! Now I'm forced to accept Kaido's 'terms.' Even if you die ten thousand times, it wouldn't be enough!"
Jack wasn't helping Doflamingo out of goodwill. Of course, there were terms. And for Doflamingo, who was once a Celestial Dragon, those terms were the greatest humiliation imaginable.
Submission.
There will no longer be a "Shichibukai" Doflamingo, only one of the "Calamities" of the Beasts Pirates.
For many infamous pirates, this title might be considered an "honor," but for Doflamingo:
"I hate having anyone above me!"
Doflamingo spread his arms wide, shouting wildly, as the white strings around him surged like waves.
"The World Government couldn't make me bow, and the Celestial Dragons' hunts couldn't make me beg. But because of you—"
With the strength of the Donquixote family, there was no way they could completely wipe out the Straw Hats and the colosseum fighters. Meanwhile, the Marines pretended to be deaf, focusing only on rescuing civilians, clearly waiting for both sides to wear each other down.
This forced Doflamingo to resort to his last option: joining forces with Emperor Kaido. But if things continued like this, even if he slaughtered every person, pirate, and Marine in this country and framed it as some absurd "pirates and Marines destroying each other," his future—
Would still be firmly under Kaido's control.
Unless Doflamingo had the confidence to endure the wrath of an Emperor.
Damn it!!
"You're just a bunch of pirates!!"
As he controlled the white strings on the ground to fight Luffy and Law, he angrily yelled:
"Coming here to 'play heroes'? How stupid can you get! Do you think the people of this country will thank you? That they'll see you as heroes? You—"
Boom!! A massive fist descended from the sky, forcing Doflamingo to weave a thick "spiderweb" of strings in front of him to block it.
"You've got it all wrong, Birdman!"
"I just can't stand you! So I'm going to punch you into the ground!!"
That's it. That's how simple it is. That's how "pirates" operate.
!!!
A lunatic...
**PS:** About the "String-String" ability: In my setup, all Devil Fruit powers can be resisted by Armament Haki, even those that enhance the user. Realistically, World could easily fight an inexperienced Haki user like Luffy with just a 20x multiplier. But when Luffy got better with Haki and exploded in power, World lost even at 100x. Haki is a double-edged sword—it resists Devil Fruit damage, but it also dampens their "buffs."
Otherwise, Ain's "Return-Return Fruit" could just touch some young Marine Admirals, and the Emperors would be on their knees begging. The "Great Pirate Era" wouldn't exist... Jack's durability is among the best. Sengoku, Tsuru, and Fujitora together couldn't kill him. In Wano, he held off a group of Sulong Mink warriors, including Inuarashi and Nekomamushi. Even after having his teeth knocked out, he just wrapped himself up and kept fighting.
Compared to him, Queen and King feel like lazy traitors.
