Momonga was alone in his bedroom, staring at the flag hanging on the wall.

It was Peroroncino's flag.

"Peroroncino, I'm sorry. It's all my fault. It's because of me that Albedo did such things."

After learning the truth, Momonga had gone to find Shalltear and apologized to her. It was his fault that Peroroncino had died.

But Shalltear said nothing, only staring blankly at Peroroncino's corpse.

For the past few days, Momonga hadn't been able to close his eyes. Every time he did, he thought of Peroroncino, his closest friend, who had died because of him.

Originally, Momonga had been a very lonely person, but through the friendships he had formed in the game, he had felt something he had never experienced before: true friendship. He cared deeply about that bond.

In the later stages of the game, as everyone left, Momonga was once again overwhelmed by the feeling of loneliness. Only he truly understood the taste of that sense of loss.

But after Peroroncino and he arrived in this world, Momonga never felt lonely because he had him around.

It was only when he was with Peroroncino that he could reconnect with his true self, the one who wasn't the almighty "Ainz-sama" as the guardians referred to him.

Peroroncino's death hit Momonga just as hard as it did Shalltear.

For three days and nights, Momonga sat, staring at the flag that symbolized Peroroncino. His gaze and posture never changed.

There was a knock at the door.

"I told you not to disturb me!" Momonga shouted.

After that, the person outside did not continue knocking. It was a maid, and Aura had told her that Lady Bukubukuchagama had arrived and instructed her to inform Momonga.

Before long, the door was kicked open.

Momonga turned to look, and the newcomer was a massive red slime.

"You are... you are... Bukubukuchagama?"

After all, Momonga probably hadn't known the truth from the start.

"Where is Albedo?" Bukubukuchagama asked.

"She was killed by me!" Momonga replied.

"Revive her, I want to personally kill her!" Bukubukuchagama said.

"How do you know all of this?" Momonga thought about how even the Guardians didn't know that Albedo was the true culprit, and wondered how Bukubukuchagama, who had suddenly appeared, knew the truth.

"Of course, Peroroncino told me!" Bukubukuchagama answered.

"What did you say? Peroroncino told you... Is Peroroncino still alive?" Momonga suddenly became agitated.

At that moment, Peroroncino, having borrowed Mare's Ainz Ooal Gown ring, teleported to the scene.

Seeing Peroroncino, Momonga rushed over without hesitation and hugged Peroroncino.

"Peroroncino, it's so good, you're still alive!" Seeing that Peroroncino was alive, Momonga was overjoyed.

"Let go! Let go, you're crushing my ribs!" Peroroncino, now in a human form, was very fragile, and being embraced by a massive skeleton was extremely painful.

A mixed-gender tag-team attack sequence made Albedo question her entire existence.

Momonga also used a special item to silence Albedo.

Now, every time Momonga hears Albedo's voice, he feels a surge of anger.

The person who loved himself the most had killed his most important friend, claiming it was for his own good. That was clearly a case of someone with a serious mental issue. Just hearing her voice made Momonga angry, and he immediately made her unable to speak.

Momonga continued to cast weakening and control spells, while also casting buffs on Peroroncino to ensure he could deal significant damage to Albedo.

Peroroncino and Bukubukuchagama launched a mixed-gender tag-team attack.

Albedo had no chance of fighting back.

Even as Albedo died, she never understood why her master, Ainz, would turn on her, nor did she know who the red-haired woman was.

And so, Albedo was once again killed in this brutal manner.

Looking at Albedo's corpse, Peroroncino turned to Momonga and asked:

"Momonga, where is the World-Class Item, the Perfect Resurrection Jade?"

"This... it should be on Albedo. I didn't find it on your body."

Peroroncino searched through Albedo's body for a while and eventually found the Perfect Resurrection Jade, though it was inevitable that he might have touched some inappropriate places during the search.

Then, his hand moved involuntarily.

A smack on the head landed on Peroroncino.

"Old habits die hard!" Bukubukuchagama's gaze was extremely stern.

It was, of course, Bukubukuchagama who struck Peroroncino.
