Chapter 18: The Orange-haired Girl
“I’m sorry, old man!” Saitama apologized before swooping in at lightning speed and grabbing the elderly bystander, lifting him above the ground.
In one swift movement, he sent a devastating punch towards Buggy’s head, obliterating it like a watermelon and sending blood splattering across the floor.
Buggy’s pirates were left stunned and speechless, unable to process what had just happened.
“Captain Buggy is dead!” one of them finally shouted, breaking the eerie silence that had fallen over the scene.
The sound of Buggy’s powerless left hand hitting the ground with a clink was the only noise that could be heard for a moment.
Suddenly, all of the pirates woke up from their shock and terror, realizing that they were living a nightmare.
“Ca… Ca… Captain Buggy is dead!” they screamed, their voices echoing through the area.
Panic set in as they frantically tried to figure out what to do next.
“We’re screwed! We need to run!” one pirate shouted.
“This isn’t good! Hurry up! That Commodore is dangerous! He must have a devil fruit power. If we get out to sea, we’ll be safe!” another suggested.
“Maybe it’s not such a bad thing that the captain died,” a third pirate chimed in. “Now all the treasures on the ‘Big Top’ are ours for the taking!”

The Bald Devil’s reputation, coupled with the flawless defeat of Buggy, had managed to intimidate the pirates – but only for a moment.
Soon enough, they would retreat back into the shadows and resume their usual activities, burning and plundering every town and ship they encountered on their journey.
These were the most ruthless and unscrupulous pirates, preying only on the weak and vulnerable.
Despite the death of their captain, they showed no signs of remorse or hesitation in carrying out their heinous deeds. They were nothing but a scourge on society.
As they made their way back to their ship, one pirate couldn’t resist taunting the townspeople.
“Don’t get too comfortable,” he sneered. “We’ll be back soon enough, and when we do, this town will be destroyed and everyone in it will be dead… Ha-Ha-Ha.”
The elderly man, his abdomen bleeding from serious injuries, begged Saitama not to let the pirates escape.
“You can’t let them get away,” he pleaded. “If you do, they’ll surely come back for revenge, and there are so many children here. Please, Mr. Commodore, don’t let them escape!”
“Ah, I understand,” Saitama said calmly as he readied himself for what was to come. With a slight arch of his back, he prepared to unleash his power.
In the next instant, it was as if a tornado had erupted in the area.
In a split second, invisible to the naked eye, every single member of Buggy’s pirate crew was blown away at once.
Once again, it seemed as if time had come to a standstill.
The pirates stood there, frozen in place before falling unconscious, one by one. Meanwhile, Saitama made his way towards the ‘Big Top’.
“Wait for me here, old man,” he called back. “I’ll go to their ship and bring back all the goods.”
As he watched Saitama disappear into the distance, the old man couldn’t help but be overcome with emotion. “That person is so strong,” he thought to himself. “It’s a good thing that heroes exist to bring about justice.”
His eyes filled with tears, the old man spoke softly to himself. “Thank you, thank you, Bald Man. You’ve shown me that there’s still justice in the world.”
But then he did a double take. “Wait a minute,” he said, squinting at Saitama’s retreating form. “Is that guy… naked?”
Despite the gravity of the situation, the old man couldn’t help but burst out laughing. “Thanks for saving our town, Baldy,” he called out, “but maybe consider investing in some clothes, huh?”
———————————————–
The Big Top was still docked at the seaside, its red-nosed pirate flag flapping in the wind.
Only three hapless pirates were left to guard it.
“Boring!” groaned one of the pirates, as they sat together drinking muggy wine.
“Why do we always have to stay behind and watch the boat while the others get to go pillage and plunder? It’s not fair!”
“And what’s the point?” complained another. “All we’re guarding is a stupid boat. There’s no loot, no treasure, no… you know, ladies.”
“I want a lady,” chimed in the third pirate, taking a swig of his wine.
“Shut up, all of you,” said the first pirate, suddenly serious. “We’ve got a job to do. We can’t let anyone steal the Big Top or Captain Buggy will be furious.”
“But it’s so boring,” whined the second pirate, draining the last of his wine.
“Maybe we could sneak away for a little bit,” suggested the third pirate, winking. “Just to see if there are any ladies around.”
The other two pirates rolled their eyes. “We’re doomed,” they muttered in unison.
———————————————–
“Let me get this straight… you guys are looking for a girl to keep you company?”
As they stumbled in their drunken haze, a sweet, melodic voice drifted in from the room’s entrance, catching them off guard.
The trio of pirates were struck with fear, their heads shooting up to behold a woman with vibrant orange locks standing at the doorway, her shoulders partially exposed. With a sly wink, she aimed to seduce them.
“Am I seeing things or did I drink too much?” One of the pirates rubbed his eyes vigorously and spoke with an uncertain, hopeful tone, “Why do I see a gorgeous girl standing before us?”
“Not just you, mate. We see her too!” chimed in the other two drunken pirates, their faces flushed with excitement.
“Who would have thought something like this would happen while we were on boat watch? Her shorts and those long, luscious legs… damn, she’s smoking hot!”
The three pirates ogled the girl with dirty thoughts running through their minds, their noses bleeding at the sight of her. With arms wide open, they began to encircle her, thinking they had hit the jackpot.
But to their surprise, the girl didn’t cower or scream. Instead, she leaned against the door and coyly waved at them, “Hey there, boys. I like a man who’s as strong as you, but I’m all alone. Only the strongest one can come with me and have some fun.”
The orange-haired vixen then let out a throaty, seductive laugh that made their hearts skip a beat.
The pirates were trapped, unable to resist her allure. Little did they know, the strongest one would soon be in for a wild ride.
The beauty of a woman can be a powerful weapon against even the most hardened of men, and this orange-haired temptress knew exactly how to use it to her advantage.
She had a clever plan in mind: she would let the three pirates fight amongst themselves until only the strongest one was left standing. Then, she would deal with him by kicking him down and claiming all the treasure on the ship for herself.
Little did the pirates know, they were mere pawns in her game of greed and desire. The orange-haired seductress would stop at nothing to get what she wanted, even if it meant using her looks and wits to manipulate the men around her.
But she never thought about it…
“Never mind, it’s alright!” The three pirates waved their hands simultaneously, conveying a unified message. “The captain could return at any moment, and we don’t have the time for this. Let’s work together and get it done!”
“W-Whaaaat?!” She was taken aback by their sudden agreement. She needed a quick solution to deceive these guys. “Maybe it was just a joke! I didn’t see that coming!”
The idea of dating just one of them made her feel repulsed… but what about dating all three of them at once?
The girl considered retreating and escaping from the ship. However, with so much money at stake, not to mention the three pirates blocking her way, it seemed like a daunting task.
Various ideas flickered in her mind, vacillating between rejection and acceptance. Then, a new idea dawned on her!
“Well…” Her pretty face lit up with a mischievous smile as she lifted the edges of her jacket and made upward movements. “As much as I’d love to play with you guys… I’m a little shy, you see. So, would you mind turning around while I take off my clothes?”
“Oh!!!” The three pirates couldn’t contain their excitement and quickly turned around while taking off their own clothes. They shouted in unison, “No problem! No problem! Hurry up, we’ll…”
As the words were about to leave their mouths, a sudden ‘BAM… BAM… BAM…‘ echoed through the ship.
The three pirates were struck on their heads with a stick and fell unconscious.
“Bah, how disgusting!” The girl shook her head in disapproval and made her way around them towards the rear cabin.
Her initial plan was to tie them up with ropes and throw them into the sea. However, upon hearing them mention that the captain would be returning soon, she decided to act swiftly.
Quickly, she opened the cabin door and her eyes widened in disbelief. She held her hands beside her face and exclaimed, “Wow! There’s so much money! I hope my boat can fit it all!”
Her eyes had transformed into the shape of “Berries,” indicating her excitement and delight.
