"R-R-R-Roja is still alive!!!"
Shirahoshi clasped her hands over her mouth, her expression radiating unprecedented joy and excitement.
Without a moment's hesitation, Shirahoshi dashed forward and threw herself toward Roja.
When Neptune heard Shirahoshi's exclamation, his eyes snapped open in disbelief.
Seeing Roja standing atop Yupemi, the massive sea dragon, gracefully swimming toward Fish-Man Island, Neptune was utterly stunned.
Nearby, Madam Shyarly watched the scene unfold, her body trembling with shock.
"R-Roja… actually tamed this 10,000-meter-long sea dragon?! How is this even possible…?"
Unable to believe her eyes, Shyarly immediately grabbed her divination crystal ball to perform another reading.
The results left her speechless.
Shyarly gasped in awe, turning to Neptune with an incredulous expression. "Your Majesty… the crisis… it seems to have been resolved."
Indeed, the crisis was over.
Though Shyarly's divinations had always been 100% accurate, Roja had defied even fate itself.
For the first time, Shyarly saw hope—a future that could be changed. Roja represented a turning point, a beacon of possibility.
Meanwhile, Shirahoshi had reached Roja and eagerly embraced him in her arms.
Caught in her tender grasp, Roja felt as though he were enveloped by a warm ocean.
The sensation was overwhelming, a unique experience he had never encountered before.
"Ahem… Shirahoshi, could you loosen up a little? I… can't breathe…" Roja choked out, his voice strained.
Realizing her mistake, Shirahoshi's cheeks flushed bright red, and she quickly released him.
"I-I'm so sorry, Roja! I didn't mean to—!"
"Don't worry about it," Roja reassured her, brushing it off with a lighthearted smile. "It's nothing."
As Roja steadied himself, Neptune approached, his expression a mix of curiosity and awe.
"Roja, what's the situation now?" Neptune asked.
Roja grinned and gestured to the massive sea dragon beneath him. "As you can see, Yupemi is now my mount."
Though Neptune had suspected as much, hearing it confirmed left him utterly speechless. His brows furrowed, his awe deepening.
This only strengthened Neptune's resolve to maintain a close alliance with Roja.
Meanwhile, elsewhere…
Ain's Den Den Mushi buzzed to life.
Since Roja rarely carried his personal Den Den Mushi, it had been left in Ain's care.
"Hello, this is Ain."
"Ain, it's Fleet Admiral Sengoku. Where is White Pigeon? What's the status of Fish-Man Island?"
"Reporting, Fleet Admiral. Everything is stable here. Admiral White Pigeon is currently with King Neptune."
"Good. Hand the Den Den Mushi to White Pigeon immediately."
"Yes, sir."
Ain's expression betrayed a flicker of concern. The earlier tremors and fiery signs had dissipated, but she remained anxious about Roja's safety. This call offered the perfect opportunity to verify his condition.
Hurrying to Roja, Ain quickly handed him the Den Den Mushi.
"Admiral, the Fleet Admiral wishes to speak with you," she said simply.
Taking the receiver, Roja responded with a calm smile. "Fleet Admiral."
"White Pigeon, we've observed massive eruptions near Marineford. Monstrous flames appear to be rising from the seafloor. Do you have any idea what's happening near Fish-Man Island?"
Sengoku's voice was steady but laced with concern, and he listened intently for any clues in Roja's reply.
Roja replied evenly, "Fleet Admiral, King Neptune mentioned that this is likely a chain reaction caused by the eruption of a submarine volcano."
"Is that so? Let me confirm. Can you pass the Den Den Mushi to King Neptune?"
Roja handed the receiver to Neptune, who affirmed Sengoku's query without hesitation.
"Yes, Fleet Admiral, it's as Admiral White Pigeon stated—a volcanic eruption chain reaction."
"Thank you, King Neptune," Sengoku replied, sounding relieved.
As Sengoku set the receiver down, Garp strode into his office, a carefree grin plastered on his face.
"Well, Sengoku, did you figure it out? Don't tell me that mysterious rogue can operate freely under the sea!"
Sengoku sighed, his tension easing. "No, King Neptune confirmed it's just volcanic activity. But if it was that rogue… the power he wields would be even more terrifying—greater than anything you or I could handle."
Garp chuckled heartily, unfazed. "Well, at least that's settled! Now let's go check on Aokiji. I heard he's wiped out—used Ice Age over twenty times, hahahaha!"
Sengoku couldn't help but smirk at Garp's carefree attitude, a rare moment of levity amidst the tension.
Back on Fish-Man Island…
Roja and his companions returned to the Ryugu Palace.
The matter of Yupemi's subjugation was tactfully left unspoken among the group.
Shyarly, meanwhile, had retreated to her café, deep in thought. Roja's actions had shown her that even a "fated" future could be rewritten.
At the palace, Neptune made a bold declaration.
"Roja, if you agree to an engagement, I'd have no reservations about entrusting Fish-Man Island's future to you!"
The statement, delivered in front of Fukaboshi, Ryuboshi and Manboshi, stunned everyone.
The three princes quickly nodded in agreement. "If it means Fish-Man Island will prosper, we have no objections."
Neptune's decision reflected his full faith in Roja.
Beside him, Shirahoshi gazed at Roja with bright, expectant eyes, silently hoping he would accept.
Roja paused, considering Neptune's words. Finally, he gave a small nod.
"All right. From now on, just call me Roja. I'll ensure the world recognizes the people of Fish-Man Island."
Hearing this, Neptune's face lit up with joy.
"Excellent! Hahaha! Let's celebrate with a grand banquet!"
As Neptune's laughter echoed through the palace, Shirahoshi blushed deeply, her face glowing with happiness.
"Roja… please take care of me from now on," she said softly, her voice full of gratitude and affection.
