Robin followed cautiously behind Olvia, visibly nervous.

Olvia, however, remained composed, unbothered by the discussions surrounding her.

The village elder, who also served as the head librarian, stood beside Olvia in silence. He was the world's most renowned scholar and the only person capable of reading the Poneglyphs with ease. His eyes were closed as if indifferent to the commotion.

"Professor Clover, you really don't have to do this. The Marines are after me.

If I die, you can all live in peace. There's no need for you to throw your life away alongside mine," Olvia said softly, trying to dissuade him.

But Professor Clover remained unmoved, standing steadfastly at her side. Olvia didn't know how to persuade him, while Robin tugged at his leaf-like hairstyle and asked timidly,

"Grandpa Clover, can't you come with us? And Mama too? I don't want to lose you both…"

Despite her inner strength, Robin couldn't stop herself from tearing up in such a moment.

Seeing Robin's tear-filled eyes, Olvia looked skyward, fighting to hold back her own tears.

Professor Clover opened his eyes, gazing gently at Robin.

This was the maximum range of the Space Door that Capone Bege could create with his full power.

Though Bege had only recently gained the powers of the Door-Door Fruit, his natural talent allowed him to grasp its use quickly. In just half a day, his mastery surpassed that of the CP9 agent from the original story.

"So, you're Captain Karl? The famed new Marine from the East Blue? You don't look like much," Professor Clover remarked, a hint of disappointment in his eyes.

He had expected Karl to be some kind of monster, but Karl turned out to be just a handsome Marine.

Karl didn't take offense, merely gesturing toward the massive door.

"This door won't stay open for long. Quickly, take everyone through.

On the other side is an uninhabited island with excellent living conditions. It's free from predators, volcanoes, or glaciers—a perfect place to settle.

This man, Capone Bege, will oversee your people and ensure your survival."

"Professor Clover, I respect you deeply, but you're too rigid. You can't keep judging things with outdated perspectives.

Unless someone is truly irredeemable, we should try to reform and guide them through actions…"

Karl was surprised. He hadn't expected Bege to apply his lessons so quickly.

Though Bege's speech had minor flaws, its core message was intact, so Karl let him continue.

Capone "Toolman" Bege not only opened doors but also became a perfect mouthpiece for Karl's ideals.

He had captured the attention of everyone in Ohara, even leaving Professor Clover and Olvia amazed by his philosophy.

As Karl quietly enjoyed Bege's speech, his Den Den Mushi rang.

"Hello? Who is this?"

"Karl, we have a problem! Sakazuki thinks you deserted and reported it to Admiral Sengoku.

Sengoku ordered us to speed up and reach Ohara as quickly as possible.

We'll be there in two hours at most. Have you finished evacuating the people yet?"

"Kuzan, are you serious? At your speed, you shouldn't arrive until the day after tomorrow!"

Karl frowned, shocked by the news.

Kuzan sighed on the other end. "Sakazuki isn't wasting time. He's using his Devil Fruit powers as fuel to propel the fleet.

The ships are moving nearly as fast as Moonwalk! While the ships are falling apart, they'll hold up long enough to reach Ohara."

"What?! Sakazuki's going that far?!"

Karl was stunned. He never expected Sakazuki to personally push the entire fleet's speed to this level.

Time was running out.

"Kuzan, who are you talking to?"

Sakazuki's voice came through the Den Den Mushi before the line was cut.

Though the Den Den Mushi rang again, Karl ignored it and hung up.

"This is a headache…"

Karl turned to Bege, still passionately giving his speech. Karl reluctantly stepped forward to take over.

"Attention! The Buster Call fleet will arrive in just over an hour. There's no time for hesitation!

If you want to live, go through the door now. If you wish to stay, I won't stop you.

But in twenty minutes, this door will close. Once that happens, it'll be too late!"
