Chapter 61: Moving to the Gate of Starting Point Area
He evilly smirked, as he hurried to open his map, check the locations of the current players, and started dashing hurriedly towards the nearest location of them.
The escaped players once felt themselves secured from him, lowered their guards and started to regroup again. From the look of things, these two hundred and fifty players were now gathering in seven points, and more players started to flood towards them, trying to speak with them.
However, Bloom fell upon the first group of players like thunder, using all of his skills one after another, without giving them a chance to catch their breaths, absorb the sudden attack over them, and finally he managed to kill the first fifty something players group.
"First one down, others left to go."
He muttered, as he started to move towards the second group. The arrangement of these players were in a big circle, and that made his journey to them quite easier.
The number of players started to grow, and thus the number of fallen under his swords nearly doubled that the initial number. The forums started to go berserk, as many players noticed that Bloom was precisely targeting these scattered groups of players through their feedback.
"Stop your live broadcast, you idiots he is tracking all of you through them!"
Many phrases like these started to appear in the posts of the remaining broadcasts. It wasn't until Bloom killed the fifth group that the other two groups of players noticed these replies on their threads, and instantly killed off the feed.
"Even if you stopped them, I already have a general view of your locations," Bloom smirked, as he had two places left to visit. Even if he missed one of the two, the other one was doomed to fall under his swords.
He went straight towards the location he saved in his mind, and when he neared there, he spotted many players already dispersing, numbering in a hundred or more.
He wasn't polite as he started to hunt them down, ten by ten, simply using his stab skill to kill fast, his dash, sky piercer, hawk, and dash piercer skills to jump from one location to another, getting the running players unprepared and defenseless.
He was like a wolf launched freely on sheep, with nothing to stop him, no sheep to satisfy his hunger. Bloom was recorded in this battle, as this recording was later put on forums, under the catchy title of the god player!
This battle was like the crown jewel that was put at the top of his achievements in the game, making his legend more deeply immersed in the players' mind.
As he finished killing around eighty of these players, he found the place empty except for him. He didn't delay and went ahead towards the next spot, where he found none there.
"They ran really fast," he sighed, helplessly shaking his head, before he opened his character page, inspected with pride the current number of stored death souls.
"Eight hundred and sixty nine," he muttered to himself, feeling quite satisfied with that.
The number wasn't that high, nearly half of what he could store, but this could last him for a long time already. He now needed to raise his current level ten up fast, so he could utilize more of these death souls in much a better way.
"I hope you can all level up fast and hurry up to reach the village," he muttered, while shaking up his head, turning around and started to leave.
He then walked towards the end of this starting point. While he was going there, he opened his friend list, and checked on Peri's name, and sent a message to her.
'I will go now to the village, when you arrive at the village, give me the name of it so we can meet up later.'
He knew each starting point would lead to a variety of villages, but even if she ended up being in the same village as him, he planned to instantly move to Alter village and start preparing for his personal quest.
Peri replied wishing him luck, and expressing her and the others' support to him. He just smiled and closed the chat with her, while moving towards the main gate of this starting point.
As he was currently free, and had nothing else to do, he opened the forums to not be bored while walking alone in this place.
The first he faced was the topics written in his support. He just smiled, as many players put the whole blame on his enemies and haters for constantly harassing him.
There were also topics regarding the way he was fighting, as this style wasn't common yet in the players' community.
Players used to run and attack, but no one had ever used the system enforced moves when using skills to fight in the way Bloom did.
These topics just made him smile, helplessly, and before he would exit the forums, as he was already near the gate of this area, he noticed an interesting topic that made him laugh.
"Bloom is a dark sorcerer even in real life! those killed by him were prevented from entering the game for days!"
The topic was written by an unknown name to Bloom, as he didn't know he was one of the closest friends of Derick. The player stated that many of the killed in the last exchange found themselves forcibly expelled from the game, and when they tried to enter it again a rejection message was all they got.
The player didn't stop at that, as he started ranting over how this game was unfair to let such a loose cannon do whatever he wanted. Bloom just read all these curses and insults to him and the game with a wide grin on his face.
He wouldn't mind the game to be cursed and hated by players, as this was his only goal, his sole goal from playing here.
The topic instantly reached number one in the forums, and Bloom didn't hurry to leave here as he was much interested in the players' response.
Many had just denied these claims, but much more expressed their disbelief and shock from this, especially when the player edited his thread, adding a long list of hundreds of names of players killed on the hands of Bloom, asking anyone to try and reach them in the next couple of days to make sure of these facts!
Bloom just sneered, as he knew this wasn't the end of his punishment. Two days off the game was now considered a curse, as many things would happen in these days.
At least when this bunch of haters would rejoin the game, their levels would be considered pretty low, instead of being currently pretty high. That was enough humiliation for them.
But there was also a bonus that made Bloom quite satisfied with his death shrine blessing and curse, the weakness effect!
Players would have this weakness for days after rejoining the game, making them unable to even level up normally. As for catching up with the mainstream of players, they had to work for a week or two to achieve that.
Bloom just shook his head with a sly laugh before he headed towards the nearby gate to leave here.
