Chapter 500
[Yesterday’s Miro Pajamas LOL]
(Miro in pajamas showing off her bromide in a gif)
(Another gif of Miro swinging her Moon Blade while wearing pajamas)
Why is she wearing something so mismatched? LOL
– So cute;;
– HAHAHA
– Her face and the outfit just don’t match, LOL
Seriously though
Like, that Miro is wearing those pajamas??
[Miro, that sly fox…]
(Miro playing with her Moon Blade while in pajamas in a gif)
Look at her breaking that unicorn’s horn and reattaching it, LOL
– If that’s not a virgin, then what is??
For real…
– Of course Buhwang is different…
– But looking again, she’s super excited, LOL
For real, she’s really into Romance of the Three Kingdoms, LOL
– After seeing this, I bet she glued that horn back on, LOL
[But I kinda want that Moon Blade]
Isn’t it perfect for display in my room?
– For real
– Honestly, it makes me a bit jealous, LOL
– I wonder how much that costs
Yeah, it’s probably super expensive, LOL
If Miro says it’s expensive, it’s definitely pricey.
By Miro’s standards, I wouldn’t be able to afford it, LOL
[But looking at Miro made me think I should live my life better]
Even while filming an OTT drama, releasing a new song that hit number one on the charts, and becoming an advertising blue-chip, Miro is still in pajamas promoting her goods.
Meanwhile, I’m just a broke loser scratching my belly in my room.
– Miro’s the weird one, LOL
– If she’s that kind of celebrity, she should be filming more projects and ads, not promoting VTuber goods, LOL
That’s true, LOL
– Miro really is something else, LOL
– Isn’t she just showing off her Moon Blade?
That’s probably the most plausible explanation, LOL
[By the way, what’s up with this café announcement? LOL]
(Celestial Realm café announcement)
Miro said 6 PM, so I waited, but it’s not about the goods?
– What is it? LOL
– Wow, no way
– Is there a year-end live?
Seems like it? LOL
– The date is super close
For real, why are they announcing it now? LOL
[Miro, you little rascal]
(Zoomed-in shot of Anna’s face)
You call it goods info, but what’s this live about??
– So you don’t like it?
I mean, I’m okay with it, LOL
– How long has it been since the last live?
[Celestial Realm Live Info]
(Taking a screenshot of the announcement)
Looks like all the previous members are coming out, LOL
– Wow, how many people are coming? LOL
More than 20, it seems.
– Time really flies.
– It feels like just yesterday when it was only 6 of us.
For real, time goes by so fast.
[Looking back at the Celestial Realm’s first year-end live]
(A highlight reel of the Celestial Realm’s first year-end live)
That was already three years ago, LOL
– Wow, looks a bit shabby, LOL
– For real
– The quality skyrocketed from the second generation onward, LOL
Back then, Miro wasn’t a celebrity yet…
– Ah
– Back then, she was streaming all the time, dammit.
– Fact: She debuted as a featuring artist, even back then, LOL
– Haha LOL
[But Miro is also pretty funny, LOL]
She’s doing two dramas, shooting ads, appearing on variety shows, and also going to the Celestial Realm year-end live concert, LOL
– Wow
– For real, it’s really diverse, LOL
– Other girls must be as busy as Miro so they don’t stream as much, right??
– They’re probably out and about hanging with their boyfriends instead??
– But seriously, what are those girls doing while not streaming? LOL Miro is managing to do it all.
[The concert day is going to explode, LOL]
(Schedule for credit reveal)
Miro’s drama and the concert are on the same day, LOL
– Wow
– The hype is already overflowing, LOL
– Seriously, get out of my way, you Butterpuk fans!
– LOL, hard to believe there are still people not watching Miro, LOL
– This guy is something else LOL
– You should start with Miro, too, LOL
**
The news of the year-end concert naturally caused a huge stir.
After all, it was the first group live concert in the Celestial Realm after one whole year.
Plus, with all the members showing up for this mega event and selling goods, Celestial Realm fans must have been ecstatic.
Sure, there was a huge promotional overlap with the credit reveal, but it’s not a big deal since they are in very different fields.
Also, the credits are for an OTT drama.
While a lot of people will probably watch just before the release, if you’re a fan of Celestial Realm, it’s only natural to opt for the live concert.
The release times are different after all.
The credit side will be revealed two hours earlier.
…Even if it’s all going up at once, it doesn’t matter much.
But still, I’m looking forward to it.
Both are fruits I’m hoping to harvest.
“Hello.”
“Yes, customer.”
Right now, I’m taking a taxi to the studio.
The reason being, today is the day of the year-end live and the credit reveal.
After contemplating between the two, I’m leaning towards going to the credit screening first.
Am I abandoning the Celestial Realm live?
No, well… it’s just that the timing makes it easier to do so.
I first need to watch the first episode.
I can always run out halfway, right?
Besides, the credits are for a confirmed season 2 drama.
It’s a gathering for the director, writer, and most of the main actors, so it’s a bit of a social event.
Since I have a good amount of screen time in season 2, not attending would be awkward.
I’m also one of the younger ones in attendance.
“We’ve arrived.”
“Oh, thank you.”
So in that spirit, I bought a beverage box before heading into the studio.
The screening is taking place in the meeting room of the studio that produced the credits.
As I stepped in, I saw well-prepared beam projectors and people chatting comfortably in small groups.
“Hey! Jisoo is here!”
“Come, take a seat.”
“Oh, sure!”
I bowed my head to greet the director who playfully called out my name before finding my seat.
“Long time no see, Soo-hyun.”
“Yes, it’s been a while, senior.”
Definitely, my place is right next to Jeong-cheon senior.
I’m planning to stay close and not leave.
I don’t have any particularly close actors here anyway.
Among the co-actors that appear in the credits, Kang Yun-sung is the only one I have a bit of a relationship with, but he isn’t here.
Well, it’s the year-end, so he’s probably busy.
Since only the lead actors and those in similar roles are here, it might be that Kang Yun-sung couldn’t make it.
Honestly, I believe he’s someone who works very hard at acting, but still, the idol title overshadows everything.
It’s okay if he feels somewhat distant from the actors.
Anyhow.
For now, I chose to focus on the upcoming credits.
Since it has been confirmed for season 2.
It has to do well.
What if it fails miserably?
…I’d rather not think about that.
If it bombs now, it would ruin even the filming atmosphere for season 2.
“Did you bring this, Soo-hyun?”
“Yes, please enjoy.”
Thus.
Hoping for a decent outcome—no, preferably a great one—I waited for the screening to begin.
And then a moment later.
“Alright, it’s about to start!”
“Yay— so looking forward to it.”
When the promised time arrived.
The screening for season 1 of the credits began.
**
An hour went by in the blink of an eye.
“Wow.”
“It was fun!”
“Whoa, this is going to work!”
Hearing the admiration from the other actors around me, I nodded as well.
‘It was really fun.’
The emotion I felt after watching the first episode was the same as the other actors’ amazement.
It was genuinely enjoyable.
From the lead actor’s immersive performance.
Well-constructed filming locations, and natural CGI.
Plus, the various characters with rich backstories and the audacious direction of killing them off immediately upon appearance.
Even just from watching the first episode, it was impressively captivating.
Even if it wasn’t a drama I was in, I would have wanted to enjoy it.
I had only shot scenes from Jisoo’s side, so I didn’t know how the main character’s game would play out, but to think they were filming something so fascinating.
“Isn’t it fun?”
“Yes… it is.”
In conclusion, it was far better than I imagined.
There wasn’t even the awkwardness typical of a death game adaptation, and they really handled it smoothly and interestingly.
Is this going to be a massive hit?
Forget just being decent; in my opinion, it at least deserves a hit or even more.
That’s why I want to watch the second episode right away…
I checked the time on my phone for a moment.
There was now less than an hour until the live concert started.
Even in the Celestial Realm group chat, it sounds like the other members are already shopping at the market for snacks.
What do I do?
I had warned that I might be late or might not make it due to my schedule, but still… I don’t want to miss that screening either.
Now it’s really time to make a choice.
Should I ride this wave of excitement and keep watching?
Or should I bail out since I’ve already stamped my face and go watch the Celestial Realm live concert with the members?
Since the studio is quite far out, even if I leave now, it’s going to be a tight fit to make it to Anna’s House in time for the screening.
“Alright, let’s play the next episode!”
“Yes, hurry up!”
“Director, you’re amazing! How did you manage to pull that off?”
Looking around, everyone seems to have such a good mood thanks to how well the drama turned out.
It doesn’t seem like an appropriate time for the youngest to suddenly say, “I have plans, so I’ll be leaving…”
I also have a desire to watch the next episode.
They stopped the first episode in a stylish way.
“Alright, let’s begin the next episode.”
“Hurry, let’s go!”
While I was deep in thought, the second episode of the credits started.
“Phew.”
As the opening screen came up, I got up from my seat.
“Are you leaving, Soo-hyun?”
“Yes… I have plans, so I need to go first.”
“Eh, you’re not going to watch more?”
“I promise to watch the next one with you.”
But really, I have to watch the Celestial Realm live concert.
You can’t miss a year-end live after such a long time.
It seems like I still have a bigger part of Buhwang’s persona left in me.
As such.
Leaving behind the studio meeting room where the second episode was playing, I headed towards Anna’s House for the screening.
