But the tailed beast cloak shielded her from real harm, and she immediately tried to break free to attack again.

No matter how she struggled, Kaede's grip was like an iron vise.

Frustrated, she swung her other clawed hand toward his wrist.

"You really are vicious, aren't you?"

Kaede yanked her forward, pulling her straight into his arms.

With his free hand, he struck her on the head with a resounding crack.

The blow sent Yugito flying like she'd been hit by a meteor.

Even with the tailed beast cloak, her face twisted in pain.

When she stood again, her steps were unsteady.

"What kind of monster is he?"

Kaede only gave a dismissive smirk.

Moments later, a tangible chakra giant three hundred meters tall loomed over the battlefield.

With a roar, she sent it hurtling toward Kaede.

In response, Susanoo's massive hand drew its divine blade — the Sword of Futsunomitama.

"Slash!"

With a single stroke, the divine blade cleaved straight into the incoming Tailed Beast Bomb.
