Night of the Clan Massacre: Leading the Uchiha to Defect from Konoha!

In the Wetland Village—

"What… what is this?!"

Inside Naruto's body, Kurama abruptly stood up in shock.

It had sensed a familiar aura—

The Ten-Tails!

Kurama immediately growled, "Brat, get out of this cursed place now!"

Naruto was confused. Why was Kurama acting like it was afraid?

Was there something in this world that could actually terrify the Nine-Tails?

Still, he followed its advice and withdrew from meditation.

As soon as he emerged, Kurama's eyes locked directly on Kaede.

"Kaede Uchiha… Tch! What's with that Ten-Tails aura?"

Kaede simply smiled and pointed behind Kurama. "Turn around and you'll understand."

Hesitantly, Kurama glanced back—

The next second, its pupils shrank sharply.

"That's… a God Tree that's still growing!"

Kurama's gaze immediately snapped back to Kaede like a startled cat.

"So, you kept Naruto here because you want to plant this God Tree?!"

Kaede sighed in exasperation.

"You think I'd go through all that trouble just to deal with you? Honestly, you tailed beasts aren't exactly the brightest."

With a snap of his fingers—

Boom!

From behind the God Tree, Chōmei, the Seven-Tails, flew over.

"Chōmei?" Kurama's eyes widened in disbelief.

The Seven-Tails crawled closer, first bowing respectfully to Kaede.

"Lord Kaede, you've returned."

Then it turned toward Kurama with a mocking grin.

"Well, well, the stinking fox is here too. How unfortunate for you—you're still trapped inside a jinchūriki while I'm free."

"Grrr! I'm free now! Don't make me—"

"Hahaha…" Chōmei's mocking laugh only made Kurama's face darken further.

With its current strength, Chōmei could easily swallow another tailed beast.

But now that it was free while Kurama remained sealed inside a small human body, the humiliation was unbearable.

"You wanna fight, Chōmei?!" Kurama snarled.

Chōmei scoffed. "Hmph! I've been breaking through lately. You, stinking fox, better not act tough in front of me!"

Ever since Kaede had it supplying chakra to the God Tree, Chōmei discovered that simply being near it slowly strengthened its essence—

Something it had never experienced since its creation.

It had grown attached to the God Tree, spending almost every day there.

Still, it didn't mention that defeating Kurama would require far more time and growth.

Kurama was annoyed by Chōmei's arrogance, but it was also relieved—

If the Seven-Tails was alive and even growing stronger, it meant Kaede wasn't simply letting it decay.

"Enough. You can catch up later," Kaede said.

He turned to Kurama. "For now, you'll stay inside Naruto. When I fully master the Six Paths power, I can release you without harming him."

"As payment, you and Chōmei will both provide chakra to this God Tree."

Kurama snorted but agreed. Chakra wasn't much trouble.

It returned with Naruto, though before leaving, it gave Chōmei a beating just for taunting it.

Kaede then led Naruto toward the newly constructed base.

For the Nine-Tails, Kaede already had a method from the system—better than offering it to the God Tree—

But that plan required all nine to be gathered.

When Kaede returned with Konoha's Nine-Tails jinchūriki, the entire village was stunned.

That was Konoha's most precious weapon.

Any other village that dared capture it would face Konoha's full retaliation.

But today, Kaede had brought Naruto back with him.

Now, with Kaede here, who in the ninja world would dare touch them?

They arrived at the base.

Kaede patted Naruto's head and smiled.

"You'll live here from now on. This isn't Konoha—you're one of mine now. No one will bully you."

Naruto nodded, looking around curiously.

Moments later, the Great Elder and Tsunade hurried over.

"Naruto…"

Tsunade's gaze softened—she hadn't expected Kaede to bring Naruto into their camp.

Konoha would be furious.

The Great Elder, however, was thrilled.

Every time Kaede acted, he brought back an even bigger surprise.

Kaede introduced Naruto to everyone—

They were all intelligent enough to hide any shock.

The respectful welcome made Naruto feel truly comfortable.

Pointing at Tsunade, Kaede said,

"This is the Fifth Hokage—you'll get to know her soon. She's also the elder sister of your mother, Uzumaki Kushina."

Naruto's eyes softened—

He hated Konoha's Hokage, but he missed his mother dearly.

Seeing the Great Elder had something to say, Kaede patted Naruto's shoulder.

"Go talk to Tsunade about your mother."

Naruto left with her.

The Great Elder's face turned serious.

"While you were in Konoha, the ninja world changed drastically!"

"Maybe because you broke the balance, the other nations started attacking the Land of Fire's borders. The buffer nations—Land of Grass, Land of Hot Water, Land of Rivers—

Were invaded by the great villages. In less than a day, they were conquered!"

Kaede's eyes narrowed.

"So we underestimated their greed."

"In that case, let's act too. If we're going to move against the whole ninja world, this is the perfect start."

The Great Elder unrolled a prepared map.

After studying it, Kaede pointed to the east.

"We'll take the Land of Iron and the Land of Snow—and all their territory bordering the Land of Fire. Send one hundred thousand elites to attack."

"The Land of Iron's samurai aren't individually that strong, but they're numerous."

"Shall I summon Naoto and the others?" the Great Elder asked.

Kaede shook his head. "No need. The strongest samurai there will be enough to suppress all resistance. As for the Land of Snow… I'll go personally. Maybe I'll find something valuable."

The Great Elder nodded and continued studying the map.

"With this, aside from the small nations between the Land of Earth and the Land of Wind, the ninja world will no longer be able to withstand our power."

Kaede smirked.

"If they dare reach for us, I'll cut their hand off. I might be enjoying Konoha's little drama, but I don't mind testing a curse against all five great nations at once."

Just then, the door opened and a clansman entered.

"Clan Leader, Great Elder—the survivors from the Grass Village have arrived. They say they want to… partially submit to you."

Kaede's lips curved upward.

"Partially submit? Let's go see them."
