Grey for a moment felt strange, he never expected this.

He did not expect the people of the province to react this way.

Grey himself might not recognize the significance of this matter right now because he had not counted the number of corruption fields in this province.

But there were almost thousands of these corruption fields across the entire province, and he had swiftly eliminated all of them.

Just then, Grey suddenly paused because a terrifying black energy erupted from the sky, spreading to all corners of the heavens, and a booming shout rang out.

"YOU BASTARD GREY LOCKHART!" Varyn's hoarse voice echoed throughout the entire province. "YOU BASTARD! HOW DARE YOU ELIMINATE THE CORRUPTION FIELDS! HOW DARE YOU DISRUPT THE PLANS OF THE HIGH ORDER!"

Looking up, Grey saw a black shooting star charging at him with immense speed.

It was none other than Varyn, who looked completely enraged and whose body was brimming with strength.

He had popped an abyssal transformation pill, which had increased his strength even more.

All his plans were being shattered right in front of him.

He could not let this bastard called Grey live any longer.

He would kill him.

No matter what.

Everyone seeing this scene was terrified as they felt the oppressive aura of Varyn.

A second rank evolver sensing the aura spoke. "His powers, it's definitely at the peak of second rank."

"Will City Lord Grey be able to handle him?"

"He's just a bug." Grey said with a grin. "He can't do anything."

They only blinked once, and in the next moment that terrifying peak second ranker was directly under Grey's foot.

"This speed..." Lia, who was observing, was stupefied.

How could someone move so fast?

Even she could not see anything.

"Can he just keep on using it endlessly?" The immortal lady was surprised at this.

He realized that he was completely paralyzed.

"I just temporarily paralyzed you." Grey said with a grin.

This was his Saint's Eyes ability. It allowed him to observe the life aura circulation within a person's body, the subtle energy patterns that regulated muscle control, reflex pathways, and overall physical responses.

Every individual had points where that circulation converged, functioning almost like natural control nodes. If he targeted that exact point, the aura flow would destabilize for a moment.

The result was immediate full-body paralysis.

For Varyn, that critical point was located at the nape of his neck.

Or his weak point, as one might call it.

He had immediately paralyzed him as soon as he used his time stop and pushed him down to the floor.

He then turned to the drone. "This fellow is the reason behind all the corruption fields spawning across the province. Everyone, what should we do with him?"

Since he was livestreaming, he decided to put on a show for everyone.

"Kill him!" everyone immediately erupted.

"He's the reason my sister's body was cut in half! Kill him, City Lord!" an evolver exclaimed with rage written across his face.

"Kill him! Kill him!"

Hearing this, Grey smiled. "I'm sure you can hear them too, Varyn. You are now at the peak of second rank after all."

"YOU THINK YOU CAN KILL ME? ME? VARYN? YOU CAN TRY, YOU BASTARD!" Varyn gritted his teeth.

He tried to access his elixir field, yet nothing worked.

He was completely paralyzed, and he did not know why.

"Okay, you can die now." Grey said as he pressed his foot down.

"No! No!" Varyn felt a pressure descending onto him.

But before he could speak any further, a disco ball emerged in Grey's hand and he casually threw it at him.

The instant it landed, Varyn's bone-chilling scream echoed throughout the battlefield, and in the next moment, his body vanished forever.

Varyn, the one behind the High Order incident, was now dead.

"He's dead!" everyone cheered.

Today, a great villain was dead.

This was the greatest victory for humanity.

"Alright, it isn't over yet." Grey glanced at the giant robot in the air fighting Werner, who did not seem to have realized that Varyn had died.

He turned back to the drone. "Alright everyone, you see that giant robot over there? He's making trouble in our city. What would the best course of action be?"

He did not wait for a reply and continued with a smile. "Of course, to eliminate him and take over his city."

"Huh?" Everyone, including the geniuses in the city lord mansion, was confused.

Then, amidst everyone's gaze, Grey flew into the sky.

He saw Little Hong watching from the side and simply nodded at her, telling her to wait for him.

Flying higher, he reached Orin and Werner, who were fighting.

As soon as he arrived, Werner immediately stopped.

"Master!" Werner said out loud.

"How are you faring against him?" Grey asked.

Since Werner was at the late stage now and followed the aether evolutionary path, he should be able to take on a seventh or eighth stage second ranker easily.

He did not seem to struggle, but he did not seem to have the upper hand either.

"You! Where is Varyn!" Orin shouted as he searched around, yet he found no trace of him.

"He's dead." Grey said while spreading his arms wide. "And you are next."
