Black Zetsu's sudden action caught Otsutsuki Hamura off guard.

It was too late to stop now. The overwhelming power Hamura had unleashed was moving too quickly to be retracted. Before he realized it, Black Zetsu had absorbed his technique. But by then, Hamura had already closed the distance, standing directly in front of Reiki with empty hands.

Facing him were three calm but sharp gazes: Reiki in Sage Mode, Chodori poised to strike, and An Ye ready for action.

"Uh... well, I—"

"Boom!"

Before Hamura could regroup, An Ye delivered a devastating punch to his waist, sending him crashing into a nearby rock wall.

"Reiki!"

Black Zetsu's strained voice called out.

"Black Zetsu?!" Reiki turned, alarmed.

Something was off. The name "Black Zetsu" displayed on Reiki's system panel was gradually darkening, shifting from red to black.

Teleporting instantly to Black Zetsu's side, Reiki placed his hands over him.

"It's no use. My body is counteracting the technique I absorbed earlier," Black Zetsu muttered, his voice trembling. He handed Reiki two glowing golden beads.

"This… you should be able to use it."

Reiki took the beads without hesitation, stashing them away. "Don't talk for now. Let me examine your body."

[Black Zetsu: Didn't you just say not to talk?]

[Reiki: I meant you shouldn't talk—I never said I didn't want those beads.]

Reiki began his inspection, but what he discovered was far from simple.

Inside Black Zetsu's body, the destructive energy from Hamura's Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion had partially penetrated before being absorbed. The energy, sharp and invasive like needles, was wreaking havoc on Black Zetsu's internal structure.

Yet, something remarkable was happening—an equally potent life force was counteracting the damage, restoring the destroyed tissues almost instantly.

The forces of destruction and vitality were locked in a vicious battle within Black Zetsu's body.

"Black Zetsu, your body… it's holding on for now. I can't intervene without complicating the situation further. We need to see which force prevails before I treat you," Reiki said, his tone serious.

After explaining the situation, Black Zetsu fell silent, deep in thought.

"Reiki, do you still have the Yin-Yang Release essence I gave you from the Kara Organization?" Black Zetsu asked after a moment.

"Yes, I do," Reiki replied, realization dawning on him.

"Wait… are you saying the force stabilizing your body is Yin-Yang Release?"

Black Zetsu nodded weakly.

"I see."

Reiki immediately raised his hands, summoning the dual energies of Yin and Yang Release. As the powers converged, a powerful reaction burst forth from Black Zetsu's body.

But then something unexpected happened.

Behind Reiki, a shadowy figure materialized—a phantom from his Holy Hand Domain.

Reiki froze in shock. He hadn't activated his domain, yet this phantom had appeared on its own.

The last time he had seen it was in the Land of Demons, but he hadn't understood its significance back then.

"So, it's back… Let's take this to the next level," Reiki murmured, steeling himself.

Activating his Holy Hand Domain, Reiki superimposed it onto the existing phantom. The shadow became more defined, exuding immense power.

As Reiki's dual energies surged, the phantom extended a massive hand—its blue side grasping the destructive energy within Black Zetsu, while the red side restored his body. The entire process was completed in an instant.

[Ding! Battle against Black Zetsu complete...]

The system's notification echoed in Reiki's mind as he released the domain, breathing heavily. The treatment had drained him of nearly all his chakra.

"Damn it..."

But before Reiki could recover, Otsutsuki Hamura crawled out of the rubble, his aura burning with fury.

"You… how are you not dead?!" Hamura roared, disbelief etched across his face.

He had been certain that Black Zetsu would perish after absorbing his attack. Even the Otsutsuki clan's absorption techniques couldn't completely neutralize the Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion.

Yet, here Black Zetsu stood, looking not only alive but revitalized.

"Otsutsuki Hamura, I've come to unseal my mother. She's your mother too. Even Otsutsuki Hagoromo has supported this effort. Why are you so determined to stop us?" Black Zetsu demanded.

Reiki, still catching his breath, observed silently, intrigued by Hamura's motivations.

"Hagoromo approved of this?!" Hamura's expression twisted with rage.

"Don't be ridiculous! My brother told me that if I guarded Mother's seal, I would inherit the full power of the Otsutsuki from her body. I've been here, completing my transformation!"

His voice grew wild, and white objects began to materialize around him.

"No one… no one can stop me from becoming a god!"

Hamura's declaration sent a chill through the air. The objects surrounding him coalesced into weapons, and his chakra surged to new heights.

Reiki clenched his fists. "So that's your plan. You don't care about Mother—you're just using her."

Hamura's cold eyes locked onto Reiki. "You wouldn't understand. Power is the only truth. And I will claim it all."
