Naruto: The Touch of Death

Chapter 10: Hokage.

A quick mini chapter since there's nothing to do, enjoy.

The Hokage's office was in the morning light. The papers scattered on the floor and the person sitting at this desk clearly spoke of a sleepless night. That person was Hiruzen Sarutobi.

"I don't understand." A quiet whisper escaped his lips.

"The other Kage don't sleep at all? How can they cause so much trouble?" Sarutobi said, leaning back in his chair and closing his eyes. But the time for self-flagellation was over and work began.

"Hmm, this is interesting." Sarutobi said, catching his eye on one of the documents.

"The son of Uchiha Troy? This Uchiha is not bad. I only managed to take that gold mine at the last moment." Sarutobi said with a smile on his lips. This is where the differences in mentality between the Hokage and the Uchihas begin. Hiruzen thinks that all clans in Konoha live well. And he is right about that. There is no clan that needs anything except internal problems. Such as small numbers or the inability to awaken the kekei genkai.

For Hiruzen, a game for power is just a game. His status is so great in Konoha that he does not need these games. Yes, in the early stages of his reign, he resorted to this. But now, why? Of course, this is not entirely true. Hiruzen often solves problems through politics. So why does he think so? He considers these issues unimportant.

And to be honest, this is true. Why does the Uchiha clan need a gold mine? To enter the politics of the village and the country. But what will happen if he enters it? He will meet exactly the same players as the Hokage (for the nobles this is entertainment).

But will the Uchiha clan tolerate an insult from a nobleman? How long will it take for them to lose patience and start killing? Why would he let the Uchiha into politics. For even bigger problems? The Uchiha are undoubtedly the richest clan in Konoha. And the most respected. Why do they need more?

You can learn from the Hyuga in a good way, abstract yourself. Rise up. Such are the thoughts of Sarutobi Hiruzen about the Uchiha clan.

Integration into the village is a question for the Uchiha themselves. You built this village, and then fenced yourself off from it with an invisible wall. Why? But let's get back to the topic.

"Hmm, he still has to learn from the great elder. I'm still afraid of this old man." Yes, Sarutobi remembers how his teacher and this Uchiha hated each other. He has never seen such hatred. Does Hiruzen hate this Uchiha? No, he understands him. If his children were killed, he would raise all the forces of Konoha for revenge. But he also deeply respects his sensei. Therefore, he decided to choose neutrality in this matter.

How funny the Hokage grinned. Yes, even in such a situation, a person who survived 2 wars can find a place for laughter. The joke is that Tobirama created the Flying Thunder God technique after this incident. And he killed Izuna Uchiha, Uchiha Madara's brother, with this technique.

To be precise, Tobirama thought about it but didn't have a clear concept. But at his own son's funeral, inspiration struck him. Yes, this technique was always late at the right moment. And he called it the Flying Thunder God because his son dreamed of flying, and was very talented in the element of lightning, he generally adopted his father's talent in many ways. Perhaps if he were alive, there would be many more lightning techniques in the Konoha archives.

"He's talented." Hiruzen said after looking at the documents about Lev Uchiha.

"We'll have to keep an eye on him." The Hokage said and continued working.
