NARUTO: The Saga of Crimson Monarch

Chapter 57: A Taste of Hope

Akimitsu sprinted through the camp, eager to share his incredible discovery. Bursting into the tent, he shouted, " Isaw! You won't believe what I just saw in the medical camp! Asura's hands— they glowed! He healed a broken body right before my eyes! And not just that—he can create multiple versions of himself! It was unbelievable!"

Isaw and the others stared at him, blank-faced, before Isaw spoke up, "How is that possible? That's... Impossible, Akimitsu. You're just hungry, huh?" He chuckled.

But Akimitsu's expression turn red. He stomped his foot, "It's true! I saw it with my own eyes. You ignorant fool!"

As they laughed, the mood shifted. The group froze, startled, as the camp suddenly erupted in chaos. Akimitsu, eyes wide, rushed toward an old villager, "What happened?" he demanded.

The old man trembled, gasping, "Asura! Lord Asura is here! He's visiting the refugees!"

Isaw and others froze, stunned by the revelation. Akimitsu slapped Isaw on the back. "Let's go everyone!" he yelled.

Without another word, the group raced to see Asura, eager to witness the legend for themselves—after all, they had only heard stories, and now they were about to see the miracle firsthand

.....

Ares approached the refugee area, his heart heavy at the sight before him—families huddled together, faces gaunt from hunger and sorrow. Children clung to their mothers, too weak to even weep, while the elderly gazed vacantly, their hope fading like a dying ember.

Meiji and Yuusei, spotting Ares, rushed forward and bowed deeply. "My lord Asura," Meiji said, his voice filled with respect, "what brings you here? We thought you were still tending to the wounded."

Ares smiled warmly. "I'm here to help. Gather the women who can stand and the elderly. We'll prepare enough food for everyone."

The camp fell silent, then erupted in astonishment at his words. Meiji bowed again, his voice trembling. "Thank you, my lord Asura. We do not deserve such generosity."

The women, elderly, and children gathered what little ingredients they could find. Fires were lit, and pots prepared. Ares formed hand signs again, summoning another wave of shadow clones and retrieving a bounty of food from his inventory box.

The sight of thousands of Ares and an abundance of food appearing out of thin air left the villagers and others stunned, their eyes nearly bulging in disbelief. Children shouted with excitement, their faces lighting up for the first time in days. "So cool!" they cheered, clapping and jumping with joy.

Isaw murmured in shock, "How is this even possible?" Akimitsu crossed his arms, smugly declaring, "Told you, Isaw! You all laughed at me, and now look at you—fools!" He burst into laughter.

Meanwhile, Meiji, Yuusei, and Souta stood rooted in place, their minds reeling as if struck by lightning. They couldn't comprehend what they were seeing, their mouths agape in utter disbelief.

The clones moved with precision, chopping vegetables, stirring pots, and distributing tasks. Shanks himself cooked with such speed and elegance that it seemed more like art than labor.

When the food was finally ready, it was served to the entire camp.

The clones moved with precision, working seamlessly alongside the women and villagers who chopped vegetables, stirred pots, and managed tasks. Ares himself cooked with such speed and grace it felt like a mesmerizing performance, leaving everyone dumbfounded. The mouthwatering aroma of food filled the air, causing stomachs to rumble loudly. Embarrassed, the villagers blushed deeply, wishing they could hide their faces. But Ares only smiled warmly. "Just wait a little longer everyone," he assured them, "I'll have this ready in no time so everyone can eat."

They shyly waved their hands in unison, faces red with embarrassment.

When the food was finally ready, it was served to the entire camp.

Yuuto took the first bite, freezing in place. His eyes went wide. "This… this is incredible!"

Whispers spread like wildfire. "Did you hear? The Asura himself cooked this!"

Kenji and Ryogi watched the crowd, some crying as they ate.

Kenji sighed, shaking his head. "I can't believe that brat Yachi was the Asura all along. Fuck!, I wish I could go back and slap myself for being fooled!"

Ryogi nodded, his expression a mix of awe and disbelief. "Same here, Kenji. I thought he was just some kind-hearted kid. What a twist of fate." He glanced up at the sky, murmuring, "What a destiny indeed."

Sato laughed, clapping Kenji on the back. "No kidding. He was just walking among us like a regular guy. If I ever go home, I'm bragging about this to everyone I know!"

The group laughed and ate together, their hearts lighter, joy filling the once somber camp.
