Chapter 159: 157. Smooth
The Uchiha woman appeared a great distance away from where that deadly water jutsu had exploded.
After a few moments, she went to look at what had happened to Urashiki, who was fighting two of the red-haired kid's clones. She even heard explosions.
As the smoke cleared up, she saw Urashiki lying in his own pool of blood on the ground.
"Are you alive?" She observed multiple holes in his body, large enough to fit a fist through to the other side.
There were countless smaller holes, which the Uchiha lady didn't bother counting, despite having her "cheat" eyes.
"Yeah, that menace didn't let me teleport away, so I had to face that attack head-on. However, I altered the structure of my body with his jutsu to minimize the damage. Still, it's decent enough, plus both of the kid's clones exploded, which caused additional damage," Urashiki said with a tone barely concealing his anger.
He then calmed down and added, "Protect me. I'll try to heal myself with his jutsu." With that, Urashiki concentrated on himself, closing his eyes.
In the next instant, he activated his Rinnegan, which turned blue, and activated his ability to go back in time by a few seconds—just before seeing a hand closing in on his eyes.
'What a snake. I knew it. Can't trust these humans after all,' he thought, returning to the moment where he was lying on the ground.
He immediately began healing himself subtly, and as expected, the Uchiha woman returned.
This time, he was prepared.
"That menac—" Urashiki's eyes widened as an earth spear manifested from the ground, piercing through his head.
"How did you?" He looked at her in disbelief until his eyes were gouged out.
"Do you think only you can travel back in time by using your abilities? I also went back and then merged with my past self," he heard her say with a grin before his head was crushed.
Soon, the Uchiha woman sealed his body and stored it in a scroll. 'This will be useful for studying this guy's body. It really seems interesting,' she thought, looking in the direction where one of Sora's clones was watching the entire scene.
The lady disappeared from her position, and Sora's clone activated his space-time field to track her, beginning yet another chase.

"STOP!"
Sora didn't follow Naruto, who had jumped back.
"What is it, Pervy Sage? We're in the middle of a battle here," Naruto said loudly, sounding like he was whining. However, he didn't look away from the red-haired person standing there.
"I've figured out this person's identity." Jiraiya struck a pose and pointed his finger at the 'red-haired person.'
"It's Sora!"
"Uh, what? That doesn't make any sense, old man. I thought the same, but it's not the case, and he's not using any transformation jutsu, so it can't be a prank," Naruto retorted, his voice implying he was questioning the old man's sanity.
"Hmph, brat, do you think I'm a fool? I—"
"Yes."
"Yes."
Toad Sage ignored their unanimous agreement.
"Anyway, as I was saying, you're from the future!" Jiraiya pointed his finger at Sora again with a loud voice.
"Hmm, what makes you say that?" Sora was unsurprised; he had anticipated this conclusion when Jiraiya guessed correctly.
"It's… my gut instinct," Jiraiya shamelessly admitted.
Sora and Naruto both looked at him, unimpressed.
Neither believed his lies.
Sora suddenly looked to the side and leapt away. An earth spear materialized where his head had been moments before, speeding toward him.
'Annoying,' Sora furrowed his brows.
Naruto and Jiraiya went into alert mode, both having seen it materialize from thin air.
Suddenly, Naruto's eyes widened as he tilted his head backward just as an earth spear materialized where his head had been.
He barely managed to dodge, but then sensed a red hook materializing behind him and entering his body.
In the next instant, he felt all the natural energy he'd gathered vanish.
"How troublesome," Sora sighed, then stomped his foot on the ground, forming a large fuinjutsu circle that encompassed him, Jiraiya, and Naruto.
In the next instant, the trio disappeared from the spot.
"Interesting. So, this is nature chakra. Shame I don't know how to use it against others, but this fishing hook can drain others' chakra." She hummed in agreement, then looked at the spot where a shadow clone of Sora was watching her.
It was the same clone that had followed her when she killed Urashiki.
She'd traveled a bit into the future to ambush the main body, but it seemed her timing was off.
Plus, the main body knew when she arrived.
'There must be a way for the clones and the main body to share information. I wonder if there's a limit on the basis of how much space and time they're apart, something like a distance limit between coordinates,' she hummed while disappearing.
The clone followed soon after.
It could always switch places with a new clone that would come to replace it.
Plus, landing a hit on the clone wasn't easy; in fact, shadow clones are faster than Sora's main body most of the time. The Uchiha woman would have an "episode" trying to defeat the clone.
"Whoa, is that Flying Thunder God?" Jiraiya said aloud as he noticed the surroundings change in a familiar way, like in old times.
"Maybe."
Naruto also looked around as the surroundings changed.
He created a shadow clone and dispelled it.
In the next second, an orange glow appeared on his eyelids.
"Damn, I think we're in the Land of Lightning. That much distance in just a second is crazy," he said.
Sora hummed in agreement. "So… what now?" he looked at the other two.
"Isn't this the point where you explain exactly what's happening?" Naruto crossed his arms.
He was starting to connect the dots about the Rasengan and the guy's extreme speed.
He still hadn't seen Sora use a shape-shifting jutsu explicitly, but his body seemed different in a way Naruto couldn't quite put his finger on—probably due to the seals on the other party's clothing.
"Well, I'm chasing someone… that's it."
"Umm, that explained nothing," Naruto deadpanned.
Sora just shrugged. "Well, I was after two people who could time-travel, so I followed them back in time. They ambushed me, and we fought."
"Wait… didn't you have a fatal injury or something?" Jiraiya asked, recalling Naruto sensing something unusual.
"Yeah, I had a hole this big in my heart, yet I dominated the 2v1 battle and even escaped while fatally injuring one of them," Sora said, making exaggerated hand motions.
The other two chose not to comment.
"Anyway, were those two the ones who attacked us now? Can they materialize objects and themselves out of nowhere?" Naruto asked.
"One of them, the other is dead."
"Oh, did your last jutsu kill him?" Naruto, who had sensed that powerful water-style jutsu, wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.
"Nah, the woman backstabbed him and killed him."
"Damn," Jiraiya commented.
He hadn't even seen the enemy, yet they were so dangerous.
If he wasn't careful, he might actually die like that.
"Wait," Jiraiya suddenly said, drawing the other two's focus.
"Hmm?"
"Was she hot?" Jiraiya asked, his usual expression returning.
"Ero-Sennin!" Naruto shouted. They'd just discovered that a time-traveler was loose, and even Sora had come from the future, yet the old man was curious about how the woman looked.
"Yes," Sora replied with a sly grin.
"You're not supposed to answer," Naruto said as Sora just shrugged.
He couldn't say no to a poor old man.
"Anyway, my clone is chasing the lady, so I need to decide what to do next."
"What do you mean?" Naruto asked, grateful that Sora wasn't a pervert in his future.
Well… it was too soon to tell, as Sora seemed like a 12-year-old, so Naruto would only know once Sora reached his "teenager" phase.
Obviously, there are exceptions.
"It means whether we'll take part in this chase or not," Jiraiya commented.
Time is a fickle thing, yet here it was being played with by a hot Uchiha lady.
