Naruto: Tenseigan Eye

Chapter 440: Chapter 440: Inflation in the Ninja World

Kirabi's flashy offensive techniques were no match for the straightforward and crude attacks of the little yellow-haired boy. Once their battle entered close quarters, Minato Namikaze's fighting style became increasingly dynamic. His specially crafted kunai darted through the battlefield like agile butterflies, leaving Kirabi overwhelmed and struggling to keep up.

After five minutes of relentless sparring, Namikaze Minato calmly retrieved his kunai, shook his hair out of his eyes, and departed without saying a word.

Kirabi, meanwhile, lay sprawled on the ground, drenched in sweat, his eyes glazed over in despair.

"Dammit! This is stupid! How can he figure out my fighting style, counter it perfectly, and then beat me so thoroughly while I struggle to adapt to his style?!"

Feeling dejected, Kirabi muttered to himself, "Am I just… stupid?"

The Eight-Tails, sealed within him, remained silent for a moment before reluctantly responding, "Yes."

Despite the crushing defeat, Kirabi's resilient spirit surfaced. He bounced up, sat cross-legged, and began analyzing the battle. "Why can he adapt to my fighting habits so easily while I can't figure out his?"

The Eight-Tails sighed, recognizing Kirabi's tendency to overcomplicate things.

"Because your fighting style is too flashy. Minato's style is straightforward and effective. Trying to copy him will only make you weaker."

Under Shinki's tutelage, Namikaze Minato's techniques emphasized simplicity, speed, and precision. Meanwhile, Kirabi relied on flamboyant moves that were less effective against an opponent like Minato. The harder Kirabi tried to adapt, the more his flashy style fell apart under Minato's relentless pressure.

"Ugh, that idiot!" Kirabi growled, recalling how Minato had controlled the fight with such ease. His body ached all over, reminding him of the harsh lesson he had just learned.

"Bi, you have to understand," the Eight-Tails said, its tone unusually serious. "Shinki is a formidable teacher. His guidance is precise and effective. It's no wonder Minato defeated you."

Kirabi, moved by the rare words of comfort from the Eight-Tails, wiped away a tear. "You're so kind!"

The Eight-Tails regretted its words almost immediately as Kirabi's mood shifted. "To thank you for your kindness, I'll sing you a new song I just wrote!"

The Eight-Tails groaned internally. Why did I say anything?

Kirabi's enthusiasm couldn't be stopped. He began rapping his latest creation, his voice echoing through the sealed space. The Eight-Tails could only endure, its head throbbing from the noise.

"Bi! Focus!" the Eight-Tails interrupted, desperate to change the subject. "Your chakra control is still lacking. Without improving it, you'll never be able to use my full power."

"Oh, really? You're so helpful!" Kirabi said, reluctantly pausing his song. "Fine, I'll work on it later!"

From that point on, Namikaze Minato frequently sparred with Kirabi as part of his training. Despite his resilience, Kirabi continued to struggle against Minato's relentless style. Yet, his defeats drove him to train harder, gradually building his strength and refining his techniques.

Meanwhile, amidst the chaos of war, Konoha faced its own challenges.

In the Hokage's office, Tsunade sat with Shinki and Shikashin Nara, discussing the pressing issues facing the village.

The Fourth Hokage, overwhelmed by the endless responsibilities of leadership, rubbed her temples. "The ongoing war has strained our resources. While Cloud Village supports our supplies, we're still responsible for covering costs. The daimyo has provided aid, but it's not enough."

Tsunade glanced at the reports. "Prices have risen drastically. Food and essential goods are becoming more expensive, and the villagers are feeling the pressure. If this continues, unrest could follow."

Shikashin leaned back in his chair, his expression calm but resigned. "It's an inevitable consequence of war. Rising prices are beyond anyone's control, Hokage-sama. We can't suppress market forces."

Konoha had faced inflation during the war with Sand Village, but the current situation was far worse. With all five major villages engaged in conflict, the economic strain was immense. Konoha, still recovering from previous battles, struggled to keep up.

"We can't just ignore this," Tsunade said. "Using village funds to subsidize goods would drain our resources. But if we do nothing, the villagers will suffer."

Shikashin nodded. "It's a difficult situation. Even the smartest strategy can't fix this overnight."

Tsunade slammed her hand on the table, her frustration evident. "I became Hokage to lead this village through its toughest times, but now it feels like I'm constantly putting out fires!"

She shot a sharp look at Shinki, who seemed lost in thought. "And you! Don't think I've forgotten that you pushed me into this role. Now that trouble has come, you'd better help me figure out how to solve it!"

Shinki blinked, startled by her outburst, and leaned forward to address the room.
